"THAT BITCH!" I yell, forgetting the gas station building is filled to the brim with people. All eyes are on me.
"Ma'am, you okay?" which in my defense, is a pretty dumb thing to ask somebody who just screamed in the middle of a gas station.
"No I'm not okay! Do I seem okay?! I just got pick pocketed by some old lady in the bathroom! I just wanted some fruit god damnit!"
I sprint out of the gas station to my truck and search everywhere for my wallet. My seat, no. Middle console, no. Under the seat, no. Glovebox no! I look crazy throwing everything around in my truck that people are starting to stare at me, but I don't care. I'm screwed! The only lucky thing about this is that I found cash in my glovebox, money my grandparents gave me for Christmas. Granny saves the day. I only have enough for gas, not even, but then what?
I still have to wait for a spot to open up. My anger is rising like never before. What is this the most popular gas station in town?!

I run back into the bathroom in the hopes that she might be there. I slam the door open so hard it clashes back and hits me in the face. The girls there laugh but I don't care.
"Have you guys seen an old lady leave this bathroom?!" I scream, panting. They look concerned.
"Um," One of the girls starts, "I don't know if she came from here, but I saw an old lady walking out the gas station."
"Yes! Thank you!" I run out and see her car about to back up on the opposite side of the gas station. I run up so fucking quick I'm convinced I was on the track team. She sees me and tries to gun it, but I reach her door handle first. I yank it open and the women's startled.
"Give me my money! What is wrong with you?!" I scream.
Now that she's suddenly confronted she looks terrified, "I don't know what on earth you're talking about!"
"You made everything up just to get some cash?! That's all the money I have, now give it!" I'm up in her face, ready to yank her out by her stupid cardigan.
"I need it more than you!" She confesses, "Now, I'm a tiny little woman, get off of me!"
I take my earlier selves advice and yank on her cardigan, trying to get inside her car. The car starts to move from her not putting it in park, and she's screaming bloody murder which pisses me off even more.
"Would you shut up?!" I'm up in her face, but I'm suddenly pulled back from each arm by strong forces. My legs and arms are flying everywhere, begging to be put down.
"What the hell are you doing to this lady?!" The lady smiles and drives off. Lady one, me, zero. Like usual.
I shake my way out of their grip, "Get off of me! She stole my wallet assholes, and now I don't have enough gas! Thanks for nothing!" I run to my truck and trap myself inside.
If I was normal I would cry but all I feel is anger. I wish I could put her through misery. I would kill her if we weren't in public.
I can't drive far since I only ended up filling my tank a little over halfway, so I find an abandoned parking lot and chill here for the night. I go behind the building so hopefully nobody can spot me from far away. I have a taser with me if anybody wants to come mess with me. Should've used it on that hag.
I grab my phone to turn it on but it's dead. I need it charged in case I do run out of gas and need to call somebody. Oh my gosh, who do I call? What do I do when I run out of gas? I could kill that bitch if I found her again, and I would feel no remorse. I feel hopeless, lost. This feeling doesn't fade.

A big thud just a couple feet away from me. Crashes all around. Even bigger thuds on top of my car. What the hell is going on?! It's 5 am and I've barely gathered my thoughts together yet. I fell asleep watching the sun going down, I couldn't stand being up anymore. I just needed to rest.
I look outside and see lightning, it's raining like crazy, and I think the hail is what's messing up the roof of my car. Of course. I should have called this; but, it's 5 am so maybe it'll settle down closer to sunrise. Maybe it'll help me fall back asleep.
8am. Yeah that didn't do shit. I guess storms don't soothe me like they do other people. I mean I'm not a damn psychopath, like, how is this supposed to be calming?!
I figure I should leave before people start to crowd into this parking lot. I raise my seat up to look outside my truck window, that's when I see that the whole freaking parking lot is almost filled. Did anybody see me sleeping here?! Why wouldn't they say anything? I look at the building and it says The Springs Church. Ah. How could a church kick a homeless person out of their parking lot? After my stretches and yawns my truck is back in gear and I'm on the road.
I don't know what to think while I slowly watch my gas decrease as I drive. My eyes are on the meter more than the road. I don't know where I'm going. I'm so fucking lost.
I can tell I'm getting closer to Idaho which is a good sign. Haven't really seen a road sign in a while but I can't lose hope, even though I kind of already have. I mean, every time I think I'm making progress I'm back in a random town again. I can't remember a time I've ever been this tired.
My thoughts are jumbled and I'm having a hard time keeping myself from falling asleep. I'm thinking of pulling over until a deer takes over my vision, running across the road like those idiots do. Woke me right up.
"Fucking idiots." I mumble to myself.
I'm constantly watching my gas get lower and lower. As I look up my vision starts to blur. I feel every second going by a year at a time. Something's covering my vision, and when I come to my senses I witness hooves for the split second that I had before he flew right into the windshield of my car.
"SHIT!"
I swerve my car as fast as I can to try and avoid him but it was too late, because right as I turn he's already smashed into me, throwing glass in my eye simultaneously. I scream in agony as he's thrown off the side of my car. I should feel pain but I'm too numb.
The rain has me doing circles, my breathing getting heavy, my heart beating harder than it ever has, it's the only time I've ever really, truly, experienced fear. My steering wheel is going left, right, left, but it's not making any difference, I give up. I lay back. Fuck. After a couple more spins we get tossed off the side of the road falling flat on our side into the forest next to us. A tree catches us and as I get thrown from my seat to the passengers, I think I feel my bones crack. I feel pain, then nothing at all.
