"Matt! Are you okay?" Rachel asked.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." Matthew replied.

Rachel was surprised that Stephanie didn't open the door. She didn't know that Nate had killed her.

"Matthew, where's Stephanie?"

Matt grew pale and worried. How was he supposed to say that he had a dark alter ego that killed his wife?

"She's dead. I-I don't know who killed her, b-but I know that she's dead." he lied.

"I swear if it was the same man that hurt me, I'll make him dance with fear like a little bitch baby!" Rachel yelled.

"I'd like to see her fucking try!!" Nathan's voice rang out. Only Matt could hear it.

"No! Don't do that!" Matthew cried, trying not to angrily yell at Nathan.

"Why?"

"If you hurt him, he'd kill you too."

"Right."

"She's already dead to me!" Nathan's voice rang out again.

Rachel saw some pain in Matt's eyes.

"Are you okay? You look hurt." she asked him.

Matt opened his eyes, looking at Rachel.

"Yeah! Just something on my mind!" Matthew lied.

Rachel didn't believe him, though.

"Matthew, this is not the man I knew." Rachel told him. "Something is clearly troubling you."

"Rachie, I don't need you to turn on me, you know." Matthew said, looking away.

"Ugh, I'm not questioning your motives. But when I first met you, you were energetic. But now you're just..gloomy."

Matthew was trying his hardest not to tell Rachel the truth.

"I'm fine. I'm just still upset Stephanie dying." he lied again.

"Oh, Matthew. I know how hard it is. You really loved her, didn't you?"

Matthew nodded his head, while hearing Nathan's voice in his head.

"Not as much as I love him." the voice said.

Rachel helped Matthew up, and afterwards hugged him. As she pulled away, she smiled softly at him. "I really hope you find someone else to love, Matty." she said.

"So do I."

Rachel turned away and walked out the door, waving Matthew goodbye. Matthew waved back.

As soon as the door closed, Matthew went into his room.

"That Rachel is more annoying than I thought, Matthew." Nathan's voice rang out.

"Well, she does know how to defend herself." Matthew tried to make a point.

"Ugh, you DO have a point."

Matthew noticed that it was 10 at night, so he got into his bed, trying to sleep.

"UGH!!! Matt! This bed's uncomfortable!"

"HOW!? YOU'RE NOT EVEN ON IT!!"

"Ugh, really? I am you! Remember?!"

"Oh. Right."

Matthew suddenly noticed the taller male stepping out of the mirror, and soon enough, he climbed onto his bed.

"Oh, it really IS uncomfortable. How can you sleep in this?" Nathan asked.

The brunette didn't know how to respond. He noticed Nathan had trapped him, and was on top of him. The ebony haired boy laughed darkly, giving Matt a sexy smile.

"Let's make it more...comfortable, shall we?"
