Demon saving an Angel

Crowley was having a bad day, he hadn't seen or heard from Aziraphale in days and he was worrying.

He had tried to find him using the usual channels but he came up with nothing and he was getting very worried.

He was pacing his living room thinking about the worse case scenario, that's what he did, he always thought the worst and that was one of the things Aziraphale was trying to change, trying to get Crowley to look on the brighter side of things.

Crowley was about to storm the gates of Heaven itself looking for his friend when three men appeared in his flat, these men were battered and bruised, they had clearly come from battle.

"Crowley" said the black haired man in the tan trench coat.

"Castiel? how....woah I got you" said Crowley as he caught Castiel who had fallen into Crowley's arms.

Crowley led Castiel and the other two men towards his couch.

"What happened to you old friend?"

"Demons happened" said the taller man with the longer hair

"They attacked us, they were looking for an angel with a weird name" said the other man

Castiel sat up and looked Crowley in the eyes, which were covered by his sunglasses.

"They are looking for Aziraphale"

Crowley's face went pale, he stood up and walked over to his floor to ceiling window, he took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. He turned around to face the guys.

"You brought us to a demon Cas?" said the shorter man

"And he brought me Winchesters, we're both at risk here Dean" said Crowley

"Where is Aziraphale Crowley?" asked Castiel

Crowley sighed and said "I don't know, we...had a fight, he walked out"

"We have to find him, the demons are looking for him"

"I've been looking for him for days Cas"

"Perhaps he knows where you'd look, he is the only one who truly knows you, he knows how to hide from you" said Castiel

"Then you find him Cas, please" pleaded Crowley

"I will" Castiel disappeared leaving the Winchesters with Crowley.

"Make yourselves at home" said Crowley as he walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and took out two beers.

He walked up to Sam and Dean and handed them each a beer.

"Thanks" said Sam

Crowley walked over to the window and looked out over London, the home that the Angel and Demon had shared for decades.

"You're worried about him, aren't you?"

Crowley hesitated before he answered "I disappointed him, he put his faith in me and I let him down. We have been friends for centuries, he should've known I couldn't do what he asked me"

"What did he ask you?" Asked Sam

"Yes Crowley tell us"

The three men turned to see a group of demons standing behind them.

"Shit" said the three men in unison

An hour later.

Crowley, Sam and Dean had been captured and taken to see the current King of Hell, Asmodeus.

Crowley was tied to a chair in the middle of a devil trap whilst the Winchesters were tied to two pillars in the room.

Asmodeus had been torturing Crowley to reveal the location of his Angel friends.

"Where are they?" He asked before slapping Crowley.

"I don't know and even if I did I wouldn't tell you"

Asmodeus slapped Crowley again, this time he drew blood.

"Sir we have the Angels"

"Well then bring them in"

Two demons walked in with both Castiel and Aziraphale.

"Aziraphale....no" said Crowley before Asmodeus punched him in the gut.

Aziraphale looked away, he couldn't stand the thought of anyone hurting his demon...friend.

"What do you want from me?" He asked

"I want the prophecy book, give it to me and I will let you and your friends leave with your lives" said Asmodeus as he held out his hand.

"I don't have it anymore"

"Lies" shouted Asmodeus

He walked behind Crowley and pulled his head up by his hair and put his Angel blade to his neck.

"I swear, I don't have it, I destroyed it"

"You did what!?" Exclaimed Asmodeus

Asmodeus pushed Crowley's head forward and walked away from him. Crowley was safe, for now.

"Tell me, why do you want it?" Asked Castiel

"I don't need to explain myself to you"

"Well then, someone got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning" said Crowley

Asmodeus smiled at Crowley, but it was no ordinary smile, it was the most sinister smile you could ever imagine. It would sent shivers down the spine of the devil himself.

"And what is your secret Crowley, huh? What's the one thing that your angel asked you to do, but you couldn't?"

Crowley sighed, he looked down, he couldn't bare to look at his angel.

"TELL ME BOY!"

"Love...He asked me to love him, but everyone knows..."

"Demons can't love" said Castiel as he finished Crowley's sentence.

"Says who?"

Everyone turned around to see who had said that and it was none other than Chuck, God himself.

"I do answer a prayer every  once and a while" he said walking into the room.

Chuck walked right up to Crowley and untied him. He knelt down to face him and pressed his fingers to Crowley's forehead. Chuck loomed into the demons mind and saw so much love.

He removed his fingers and looked at the demon.

"I see so much love, love for humanity, love for the earth but the one thing you love more than all of it is him. You say Demons can't love, I say they can, you just don't know what it feels like because you've never been loved but now..." said chuck looking at Aziraphale "You have"

"Now I think its time we all went home, Don't you?" said Chuck as he snapped his fingers.

The boys and Castiel landed in the bunker as Aziraphale and Crowley appeared in the bookshop.

Aziraphale was quite confused when they appeared, he looked around and saw Crowley standing there like death, he collapsed but the angel caught him before he fell right to the floor.

"Angel?"

"Shh Its alright my dear" said the angle who wiped some hairs from the demons forehead.

"I'm.....I'm sorry" said Crowley

"You have nothing to apologise for"

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you love me?"

"What a question? Well I suppose its because you are funny and kind no matter what you say and above all, you are the only being who has always been there for me, through everything"

Crowley just listened to the angels words as he rattled off loads of reasons and he felt something in his heart, no matter if he knew what it was or not, it was love and he would come to feel it for the rest of his life but always, only for his angel and he angel alone.
