Lorcan its Sunny
Hi Sunny, what's up?
Can you contact Kit?
Uh, hold on
Ug.... I can send a message but he's left me on read?
Kit has never left anyone on read unless he's busy
Sunny... is there something wrong?
No, no i don't think. Maybe im just panicking bc sasha kiurtsch is dead and i cant contact kit
Dyou want to go to his house?
No, no he's busy. Whenever hes busy he doesn't like to be interrupted
I asked him to work on something and when hes obsessed with something, he locks himself up with it until he cracks it im just being annoying
Caring about someone isn't being annoying. What do you want me to do?
Nothing, not really. Kit will message when he's okay.
Sasha Kiurtsch being dead just shocked me
I was in the school talk, i didn't see u there. The dean recommended people to check up on therapy with the school counselor
Did u know her?
No, not really. She's older than me
Did u?
Mhmhm, I've past her by a few times but it's just hellos
I think I'm going to just check up on Kit without talkikng to him
Talking
You're going to his house?
Yes i am getting my helmet and i am going to vespa
Good luck?
I will be giving you a play by play action
Ok?
[ READ AT 1:20 PM ]
I am here
That's quick? Fifteen minutes?
Wait no that's not shocking, i briefly forgot how you drive now I'm getting traumatic flashbacks
Har har
Ok hold on, hold on i have a spare key oh wait i think i see Kit's dad
Well not his dad his stepdad
His dad's not here hes in hollywood
Okay, way more information that I care for, but mildly intrigued now
He let me in im going to ask him the french films Kit's watched
That's relevant .... How?
Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez, Les Bidasses en folie, oh and he added Le Thé au harem d'Archimède in between which is bad, but he brought up Rien à déclarer so its ok everything is ok
Still need to understand the relevance
They're old timey french comedies; kit watches french films whenever he's obsessing over something. Comedies are good tones, it means he's serious about what he's working on. But Le thé au harem d'Archi Ahmed is a sad movie so something must've happened in between
Oh la la la
So everything's okay?
I guess, I', going home now
You're not going to talk to him?
No, not when he's busy he doesn't like it
Once he's in his headspace its hard to get him out of it and the thoughts he must've started on might just disappear and i dont want to do that to him
Hell message me hwen heso k
You dont type like ur okay
I'm just nervous. Sasha was kidnapped and then shot when she escaped. Something's happening here, bigger than all of us. My dad was called in as a primary person on the case and I think one of my uncles is coming back home and that's just really scary bc my dad never really works with my uncles bc my dad is retired and my uncles all work on their own which means this is really big and i am just really scared so i had to check up on kit to make sure hes okay
I'm sorry, that's a lot.
Stop by Coffee Milk.
Sorry?
You read that right. I'll meet you there right now.
What about school?
It's fine, we've just got one last period left either way.
Okay.
Okay, Lorcan Delos Reyes. Thank you.
It's just coffees and cakes, Sunny. It's nothing.
No. No it really isn't. Thank you.
You're very welcome.

French films mentioned. . .
Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez (1964) (The police officer of Saint-Tropez), features one of the most famous French comedians, Louis de Funès and Michel Galabru, who plays his boss. The success of this film spun into several sequels that are apparently chef's kiss.
Les Bidasses en folie (1971) (Soldiers fooling around) features a popular band of comedians, Les Charlots, and they get into all sorts of trouble.
Le Thé au harem d'Archimède (1985) (Tea in Archimedes' harem) introduces a France that you won't see in tourist brochures. Director Mehdi Charef protrays young banlieusards (suburbanites) growing up in a difficult environment. The title is also a play on words apparently: Théorème d'Archimède (Archimedes' Theorem).
Rien à déclarer (2010) (Nothing to declare) is a comedy about two custom workers, one French and one Belgian, who have to work together during the gradual process of EU integration. This is not so classic as it did came out in the 21st century.
I've never watched any of these films yet, but Kit is French and is ridiculously profound in his aesthetics, and I had to do research and here we are.
