Encre's POV

We go down into the little cavern and get warmly greeted by all the members of the pack. I smile. Fallacy refused to let me leave his sight. He declined any of the wolves offers to chat or hang with me while he goes to meetings. And he never let go of me. He clung to me tightly. 

I look up at him and grin. He smiles back at me.

"Well if it isn't King Clingy and his boyfriend! How are you two?"a voice says

We look to see Stacy coming over.

"I'm not clingy."He says

"Says the one clinging onto Encre."She says teasingly

He loosens his grip on me. But he kisses me on the head.

"Only out of love."He says

She giggles.

"And don't worry, Dane understands the meetings being set aside foryour lover. He cancelled some just to let your sister get back to help. And it will be a joy to him to hear tha everything worked out alright."She says

"He can see that."He insists

"No, he wants private meetings with ya now. I'll stay with Encre. I assure you he is safe here."She says

Fallacy looks at me. I could see that he is torn in his gaze. He doesn't want to let go but doesn't want to cause a problem to Dane. He sighs.

"Alright."He says

"He is waiting for you in the meeting tunnel."She says

He nods.

Reluctantly, he releases me from his hold completely and leaves my sight. Stacy and I sit with each other and talk. Then I learn something interesting.

"You're really sneaky! Seriously?"I say

"Yep! Dane is asleep in his tunnel den! He doesn't know you guys are heare and only planned meetings for later! I just know my ways of getting some space. Plus I want to chat with you and check in on things without your protective bud getting overprotective."She says

"He does it out of love."I say

"Yeah, but you look tired. Why don't you rest?"She suggests

I yawn and nod.

I lay down while she curls around me protectively.

I doze off into a dream that turned into a nightmare. I look around and see I am in a forest. The Forbidden Forest. I smile, feeling safe here instead of scared. But then I appear in the cavern. I see myself get surrounded by these weird spikes. When they lowered, I was gone. But the spikes keep spreading, chasing out the pack from their home. I don't know what is going on. Then I see Charles injecting some stuff into me and then tossing me through a hole. A good chunk of it is a blur and then I see myself with Fallacy. 

"Oh, Love! There you are! I was so worried!"He says

"Love?"The other me said

"Yes, Love! You are my-"He begins

"Friend."The other me states

"Boyfriend! You are my lover! Don't you remember?"He asks

"I don't recall being your lover. I can't recall anything besides being your friend......It's all a blur and mixed up though."The other me says

Charles makes me lose my memory? But not completely of Fallacy? This doesn't make sense!

He looked heartbroken. Sure it's just a nightmare/dream of him in it, but it still was a sad thing to see. 

The two talked and then Fallacy flew off, leaving the dream me with Suave. The dream had me follow Fallacy. There I witness Charles and a large silhouette attack Fallacy, nearly killing him. I have seen enough.

No!

I wake up quickly, my soul pounding and my body shaking. Stacy is asleep. I get up and run to where the meeting tunnel is. I know where it is because there is a sign. I go down it and find Fallacy sitting in it.

"Fallacy!"I exclaim

He looks at me and quickly got up. He comes over to me in a flash.

"Love? What's wrong?"He asks

I hug him tightly. I cling to him, scared of letting go.

"Love! Answer me, please! You're worrying me!"He says

I look up at him. 

Then I hear my grandpa.

"Sorry, Encre. But I had to warn you."He whispers

I nod. He leaves.

I cling to Fallacy tighter.

"I had a bad dream....My grandpa calls it a warning though....I don't want to forget or lose you!"I tell him

"What are you talking about?"He asks

It only took a moment for him to take that question back. He scoops me off my feet and sits down. He puts me in his lap.

"Now, tell me what happened in this warning."He says, resting his hand on my cheek

I nuzzle his hand, feeling a bit better now.

I explain what happened. He looks at me and frowns.

He kisses me on the head. I look up at him.

"I will ensure that you remain safe. I will do everything I can to keep you safe. And if somehow that does happen, then I will do anything I can to fix it."He says

I look up at him.

"Thank you, Fallacy."I say

He smiles.

"But promise me you won't do anything stupid that gets you in trouble or worse. Please, mon amour?"I ask

"Promises are easily broken..."He says

I look up at him with pleading eyes.

"But I, Fallacy, swear to do as you asked. I swear I won't do anything stupid that gets me in trouble or worse."He says, raising his right hand

"I'll make you sorry if you break that!"I say

He chuckles.

"Of course you will."He says

"I'm serious."I say

He leans in, kissing me and holding me gently. I give in and we hold the kiss for a few minutes. Then we hear howls and growls. We get out to see a bunch of wolves chasing this skeleton child. I recognized him, though never met him.

"Goth!"I shout to the child

The child's head goes up, recognizing the name. He looks to me. I go to him and hug him. Poor kid is shaking, looking terrified and crying.

"H-How do you know me? Who are you?"He whispers

"I've met your sister. Sweet little girl and she told a lot about you. I'm Encre."I whisper back

If they know we just met, they might give him some problems.

"O-Oh...Yeah, my little sister is awesome."He says

"Are you okay?"I ask

"Yeah. I just got scared."He says

"How'd you get here?"I ask

"I was shoved through a hole and some spikes started to grow. I broke my scythe trying to break the spikes. The spikes forced me away until those wolves found me and started to chase me."He says

Similar to how Shino came and left....Interesting.

"Are the vampires around here nice?"He asks

I nod.

"They are very nice. You have nothing to fear with them. Especially since you're Shino's brother."I say

Dane comes over.

"Friend of yours?"He asks

"Not exactly. He's a lost kid but he is related to a friend of mine. I promise you that he's harmless."I say as Goth hugs me and buries his head in my chest, crying from fear

(*Author note:Keep in mind that Goth was put in vampireverse once before and had some problems with Vampire Palette. Now this is when Goth came to find Nightmare for some time placement when it comes to events connected to the other story*)

"Alright. Guards, leave the boy alone. He is a friend, not an enemy. He is not an intruder, but a guest as well. Plus he's a kid, and you all know the kid/pup code."Dane says to the wolves circling us

They back off, nodding. Dane introduces himself to Goth and even cheered Goth up. Dane left to speak with his pack. Goth smiles at me. Then his smile fades when a shadow cast over us. He looks up above me. I look behind me and see Fallacy standing there. He had a frown and he wasn't exactly looking friendly. He smiles at me for a moment. Goth holds me tighter when he saw Fallacy's fangs.

"Hey, it's okay. He won't hurt you."I tell Goth

"Encre, who is this?"Fallacy asks

"This is Goth."I reply

"Shino's brother Goth?"He asks

I nod.

Fallacy smiles. Then, without another word, he scoops Goth up into a hug.

"It is awesome to meet you!"He says

Goth looks shocked. Then he smiles. He hugs right back.

"So uh, what do we do about the spikes? They're still coming."He says, pointing in a direction

We look and sure enough, there are spikes growing at an alarming rate our way. Dane sees this and howls.

"Evacuate now! Mother Nature attacks!"He shouts

"I don't think that's Mother Nature!"Stacy says

"Why?"Dane says as everyone starts to flee

"It's too calculated and quick! Mother Nature is slower and random!"Stacy says

I recall my dream.

Crap!

All the wolves leave with Stacy but Dane runs behind us to ensure we're safe. The spikes start coming from all directions. One trips me and I hit the ground. I try to get up but the spikes sprout like a pyramid or cage, trapping me from all sides.

"Fallacy!"I shout

He looks at me with Goth still in his grip.

"No!"He shouts

"Shoot! Encre! Grip the spikes!"Goth tells me

I don't get why he said that until it was give reason. I feel the ground disappear under me. I grip onto the spikes, the only thing keeping me from falling down the hole.

The spikes continue to grow, chasing after Dane, Goth and Fallacy. They could not get near me.

"Encre!"Fallacy shouts

"Get out of here, Fallacy!"I tell him

"But I have to protect you!"He says

"Well you can't do that if you're hurt! Get out of here before the spikes get you!"I snap

He sighs, then nods.

"I'll come back!"He says

He leaves with Goth.

The spikes stop. The ground returns but I don't trust it. Not until a lot of time passed and the spikes started growing spikes. Like branches grow sticks and leaves. These smaller spikes pierce my arms, injecting something in me. My head starts getting all fuzzy or a blur. The spikes go away and Charles grabs me.

"Fallacy hurt me badly when I was just doing my job. He ruined my fun so I will ruin his. And what's better then ruining the memory of his lover? Making his relationship non-existent? Make you forget your experience in love and drop him into the friend-zone? Pretty painful isn't it?"He says

My head was a blur of memories that I didn't even know what he was talking about.

"Fallacy? In love?"I say

"It appears I have succeeded."He says

"What are you gonna do now?"I ask

He feels my arms roughly. Tears fill my eyes. It hurts!

"I'm gonna let you go."He says

And with that said, he tossed me to the cave entrance. I struggle to get up. I run as soon as I managed to stand. My mind was so jumbled that I just run through the forest until I realize it's the Forbidden Forest and the middle of the night. Worst place and time to have a scrambled mind.

What do I do? Where do I go? Fallacy? Jasper? Is Fallacy in danger? Why does that guy want to hurt Fallacy? What was that guy talking about? Why did he hurt me?

I decide to go to the only other person who might know answers or clear up the mess of my memories. That being Fallacy. But I hear some noises and quickly climb up a tree.

Some wolves run past and then it was silent. I wait a bit before slipping back down the tree. I slide down a skinny branch that was dangling like rope.

I get down and keep running, trying to figure out how to get to Fallacy's castle. 

Castle....To his castle. That's where he lives! Wait....Was there a village?

My mind was so mixed up that I could not tell anything beyond when I met Shino and reunited with Fallacy after being stuck in stone. That's all I clearly remember. The rest is a blur.

But then I hear footsteps. I see someone up ahead. I get curious but excited. There is someone else here! Being with someone is better than being alone! But why is someone in the forest now? It's dangerous! I get closer and realize I have never seen this person before. But before I could say a word, they spoke instead.

"Guys, I told you. I'm not going back."They say

"Bonjour Monsieur. Que fais-tu dans cette forêt?"I say, mistakenly using French

(Translation:Hello sir. What are you doing in this forest?)

They turn around and see me. He's a skeleton. He looks at me confusedly while I am looking at him curiously.

"Huh?"He says

"Oh pardon. Force d'habitude. My name is Encre. I said Hello sir. What are you doing in this forest?"I say

(Oh sorry. Force of habit.)

"Oh, alright. Nice to meet you. I am just trying to find a place to go. Why? Is there something wrong?"He says cluelessly but nicely

"This is a Vampire Forest."I reply

"Wait...Are you?"He asks, taking a step back

He is thinking I am a vampire.

"No, but I know people."I tell him, showing him my lack of fangs

"What are you doing in this forest?"He asks

"To find one of them."I say

I don't say Fallacy for mainly two reasons. 1: If he is a hunter, he may put Fallacy in danger. 2:If he isn't, the fact I know a vampire king may scare him off and I don't want to be alone in this forest with a jumbled memory. He seemed uneased at just hearing about being here.

He gets an alarmed look on his face.

"Look out!"He snaps, shoving me out of the way

Arrows fire now at him. But he grabs them before they could hit him. He transforms like a werwolf. Except instead of fur, he grew goop and instead of claws, tentacles grew from his back. One of his eyes is covered by the goop. Instead of the purple glow, his eye has an emerald shine. It's amazing. I look at the stranger in wonder or amazement. He is certainly no hunter. But hunters are firing at him while he protects me.

"Stupid hunters!"I say

He looks at me.

"Hunters?"He says as a tentacle snaps an arrow in half

"Ya. Vampire hunters. They know I have....connections so they are trying to get me to get them. The whole love is a weakness tactic. Woah...."I explain, then glance at him in amazement

He seems very ticked off at their tactic.

More arrows go flying to me but he grabs and breaks them with his tentacles. Then, daggers are thrown. He breaks those too. He frowns. He fires tentacles at the hidden hunters peeking their weapons out of the trees. He grabs them and toss them into the distance.

Who is this guy? What kind of monster is he? I've never heard of a were-octopus before.....

I tap him on the shoulder. He turns with his tentacles swinging still. One nearly hit me but he turns back to himself. 

"So...how long have you-?"I ask

"As long as I can remember, really."He says

"Does it hurt when you turn?"I ask

"Ya get used to it."He replies

"Thank....Thank you, Monsieur. For what you did."I say

"Anytime."He replies

Then he gets stabbed by a dagger. He looks at it and starts to shake in pain. I grab him and think of the only other place to go. To my friend Azure. He knows how to care for wounds like this. I run, blindly letting my feet guide me. I reach the village and smile. I recognize a boarded up house. I go to it and gaze around. I see Rufous talking with two strangers I have not seen before. Rufous takes a bent sword from one and goes inside. Only moments later did the three come back out, now he is holding it while it looked good as new. They continue to talk. This guy hides behind me when seeing the three of them. I look at him confusedly. He keeps his head down.

"Have you fellows seen Azure?"I ask

The two strangers shake their heads.

"I'll go get him, what's up?"Rufous says

"He will know. Just go find him please."I say

He nods and runs off, dropping the sword. 

I take him inside. I place him on a bed and pace. Soon, Azure comes. We have a quick talk and then we take the dagger out of him. We bandage him up, Azure even putting a spare shoulder-pad for amour on him. For protection he says.

Then Azure rolls up my sleeves to check on me.He sees my wounds and bandage them. He takes me to another room and change me into fresh clothes. I come back into the room where the stranger is healing. I look to the stranger.

"I notice you hid behind me when I called to Rufous and those two dudes. Why is that?"I ask

"Those two dudes are some friends of mine....But I don't want to go with them."He says

"You're a runaway?"Azure asks

"Sorta ya."He says

"Is it because of...ya know?"I ask, hinting to his transformations

He nods.

"Well then I'll make sure they go nowhere near you unless you wish. I'll keep an eye on them."Azure says, then leaves

"I suggest you change your clothes then. If you don't wanna be found, that is. RIght now with what you're wearing, you stand out like a sore thumb like them."I say

"Okay....How exactly do I blend in around here?"He asks

"I'll get you some clothes."I say

I leave and come back moments later, placing some clothes beside him.

"What's your name anyways?"I ask

"Em....Nightmare."He replies

"Ooooo! That's a very nice name! It sounds magnifique! Like the night and moon! Nice to meet you, Nightmare!"I say happily

He looks shocked, but then gives a warm smile and thanks me. I let him change privately. He comes out and I smile.

"You look like your name!"I say

And I'm honest. He does look good.

"Emm, thanks. Sorry for delaying the search for your friend."He says

"No, no! You saved me! If you didn't I wouldn't have found my friend! Now that I think of it, maybe you're better with them than here. People can practically smell monsters. And I mean the kind that they send hunters after. Like vampires, werewolves, etc. Come on, let's go find that friend of mine."I say

He nods and follows me. We soon are back in the forest. We walk silently and cautiously. I keep a keen eye on the trees. We keep moving and soon I find a hidden trail. We go down it to see where it goes, confident it leads to wherever Fallacy is. I try to protect him.

Then something catches my eye. I stop at a spot to look. Then I start hopping excitedly. I run over, picking up Fallacy's cloak. I hug it close. I smile at Nightmare.

"We're close! This is his!"I say

"Couldn't that also mean something bad? Like he was taken or something?"He asks

"No! He drops this whenever he turns! Let's keep moving!"I assure him

He shrugs and nods. We keep moving. I keep a closer focus to the sky than where we're is going. Fallacy could be close. I could feel it.

"Wait up!"He shouts

"Oh sorry! I get excited easily."I say, slowing down

"I can tell."He says, shaking his head

I hear a whoosh and look up. I see Fallacy zip over us in the air as a small bat. I toss the cloak up to get his attention. It works and he catches it. Then he flies off before Nightmare could see. He looks up and nothing is there.

"Let's keep going!"I say

I jog ahead with him following. But then I realize he is no longer following me. I look around. He is nowhere in sight. I get worried. I run back the way I came. I shout for him. He does not answer me but soon I hear him.

"I am not even from here!"He shouts

Then I see him. He is being held tightly by Fallacy holding his shoulders, squeezing the wounded one. Fallacy looked furious and ready to kill Nightmare.

"Nightmare! Monsieur! Wait, Fallacy! Let him go!"I say as I come over

"Why should I? He could be a hunter!"Fallacy says

"Because he isn't. He saved me from hunters while I was coming to find you."I tell him

His eyes widen and his face glows a bit.

"Y-You were coming to find me?"He asks

"Oui."I say

He releases Nightmare

"Also, he may be a loup-garou, mais une pieuvre au lieu du loup."I say

(werewolf, but an octopus instead of the wolf)

"Well, that's a new one. I've never heard of a pieuvre-garou. Interesting."He says

"That's a good term."I say

He turns Nightmare around. He smiles, showing off one of his fangs.

"Heh, sorry for what I did then. Paronoia gets me. Thank you for keeping mon amour safe."He says

My face burns up.

He called me his love!

"Fallacy!"I snap

"What?"He says

"Since when were you learning to speak French? Use those words?"I ask, looking at him nervously

"It's back...."He mutters, but I hear him

"What's back?"I ask

He mumbles something.

Nightmare pats him on the back while I look at him confusedly.

"Ahem. I learned it from a book in the library. I thought if you were gonna speak it, might as well know what you're saying. Nothing for you to worry about."He tells me

"Ah okay."I say

"Now, how are you, Love?"He asks

"L-Love?"I stutter

"Yes, that is what I said."He says

"Good, I'd say."I reply, holding my arms gently

"Nice to hear. Now let's go."He says

He grabs us and flies us to his bedroom balcony. He takes us in to where Goth sitting on the bottom of the bed. He smiles at us. Then he hugs Nightmare. We leave the two to chat. He calls for Suave and notifies him of Nightmare. Suave starts getting one set up and Fallacy puts Nightmare in it once Suave finished. Goth left to find his way back to his family through a strange hole outside. 

Next thing I know, Fallacy is pinning me against the wall, leaning in close to me. I look up at him.

"What happened? How did you get out? I was so worried about you."He says

I feel his hand on my cheek.

"F-Fallacy?"I say, my face burning up

"Yes?"He says

Something felt so nice and familiar about his hand on my cheek.

"It's....Blurry mostly....But the spikes got my arms and then went away. Charles....Or someone I think is Charles got me. He made my head all fuzzy and was talking about hurting you? And love? I can't recall much. Everything beyond reuniting with you after being stuck in stone is a jumbled mess....."I say

He feels my neck.

"Well before you get scared....I marked you for your safety. You don't remember what we were, do you?"He asks

Marks? Safety?

A memory clears up!

"I recall that we were friends....And we still are.....Oh! I remember something now! Do you still have my mark?"I ask

He lowers his collar of his shirt, revealing a mark on his neck.

"Yep!"He says

He looks hopeful now. I smile at him.

"I will do my best to help you clear up your memory."He says

"Okay...."I say

He keeps feeling my cheek, gazing at me sweetly. My face burns.

"M'Lord, Dane wishes to speak with you."Suave says

Fallacy sighs and leaves.

I spend time getting to know Nightmare and chatting with him. He's a really awesome dude. We were able to bond easily and become good buddies within those few days. I've been getting memories back, with and without Fallacy's help. Jasper has shown me a journal that records multiple events that seem familiar. But the descriptions on most pages were very....affectionate about me.

"How's your memory doing?"Fallacy asks while I was sketching a few days later

"Pretty good. Jasper has helped incredibly with helping me unscramble my memories. I don't remember them clearly, but you guys got me to get my memories in a timeline."I reply

"How has my son helped you?"He asks

"He keeps showing me these entries of a journal that he has. He always makes sure to show a page that just rants about feelings toward me before he leaves."I say

He is silent. I look at him.

"Is something wrong?"I ask

"What does it say?"He asks

I name a few things that I saw in the journal's rant.

"What did it look like and who did he say it belonged to?"He asks

"It had a brown cover but all the entries were with red ink. He said it was a family journal."I reply

"I gotta go handle something."He says, then leaves the room

I shrug it off.

(Fallacy:STOP TAKING MY JOURNAL JASPER!

Jasper:But Father, it helps his memory!

Fallacy:Well quit showing him the pages that tell my feelings! >////< It is embarassing!

Jasper:Hard to do when 75% of the pages that include him and could help his memory have your lil rants.

Fallacy:It is not that much! 0///0

Jasper:Tell Suave that. He did the math, not me.

Fallacy:0///0)

I decide to visit Rufous and Azure. I walk through the forest to the village and chat with my friends for a bit.I look at the house Azure says was ours. The one we brought Nightmare to. Memories were clicking. Rufous and Azure soon had to do jobs or got busy so I went to the house. I see Nightmare's other set of clothes and wonder if he'd want them back. Surely he would. I reach through the window and take them. I start to head back to the castle. But I didn't even get away from the house before a voice caught my attention.

"Hey there. I see you're taking my bud's clothes."The voice said

I glance around and spot a strange-looking skeleton. He wore blue pants, black shoes and a light blue shirt. But what was strange about him was he had no pupils in his eyes. Just empty black eyes that had black streaks going down his cheeks from them. And he said I'm taking his friend's clothes. Could he be a friend of Nightmare?

"Wait....Your bud?"I ask

"Yes. Have you seen him?"He asks, showing a picture of Nightmare

I am surprised that he has that picture. I remember what Nightmare told me. Not everyone that looks for him may be a friend of his. They could be trouble so don't speak to any of them. He does not want to be found.

"So you have seen him."This stranger says

I turn around and try to walk away. 

"I am told not to speak to his friends or anyone who knows him. Told to just go. Nightmare doesn't exactly want to be found. He seems scared. I have to go."I say

"Please, I just want to make sure he is okay. He can get hurt."He says

I stop moving.

Is that the worry of a friend or a threat?

I look at him, worry for Nightmare filling me now.

"Que voulez-vous dire?"I ask

(What do you mean?)

"Huh?"He responds

"What do you mean? Sorry, I can switch to languages by mistake."I say

"Last night, I had a sight of him being attacked, killed even. Plus, he isn't in the best situation right now. I just wanna make sure he doesn't get hurt."He explains

His tone showed a lot of care towards Nightmare and his safety. This stranger's expressions told a lot despite having no eyes. That amount of care made me wonder. Could Nightmare be his lover? Or his crush at most? I remember something that Nightmare told me. Could this guy be Killer?

"Are you really his friend? Or is he votre amant?"I ask

He gets real happy at that question. Though I have a bet that he doesn't even know what votre amant means your lover.

"Yes, yes he is! I am! We are!"He says

"Your name wouldn't happen to be Killer, would it?"I ask

"It is, how'd ya guess?"He asks

"He told me about you yesterday. Speaking of which, now I really have to go. Adieu."I say

(farewell)

Nightmare doesn't want ANYONE to find him. Not even Killer. And Killer seems nice but also....strange. Was he worried about Nightmare or threatening him?

I start to get away. I really should, I don't know this guy! But then a familiar voice calls me.

"Bonjour Encre!"Shino says as she runs over to me

I smile happily.

"Shino? Bonjour, mon amie!"I say, kneeling and hugging her

(my friend)

"Thank you for protecting my brother."She whispers

"No problem!"I say

Killer seemed shocked that she knew me.

"You know him?"He asks

"Hey, you don't know where I've been."She giggles

The two of us start chatting in French. Her French has gotten more fluent. She tells me all these amazing tales of events that happened from the moment she left. She asked what has happened while she was gone. I told her that there was an incident and I don't clearly remember much after she left so it's best to ask Fallacy.

I hear another voice and look over to see more skeletons come over and talk with Killer. One looked remarkably like Fallacy. I got confused. He said he wasn't going out, it's dangerous in the day for him.....

"Fallacy, what are you doing here? You look.....different. I thought you said you weren't coming out. Isn't it dangerous in the day?"I ask him

"WhO aRe yOu? I'm ErRor, dUnnO wHo tHis FaLlAcy iS."The guy responds

NOT FALLACY! OOPS! He has a few differences too.......His clothes, blue marks by his eyes and his voice is a little different from Fallacy.

"Oh! My apologies!"I tell him

He shrugs it off.

"Not ThE fIrSt tIme."He says

"Guys, this is Encre. Fallacy is a-"Shino says

"Amie."I say, not trusting these guys with the vampire fact yet

"Yes, friend. His friend. And according to Encre, they've been with Nightmare for a while. They've kept him safe, thanks by the way!"Shino says

"No problem."I say

"But can we see him? Pwease?"She asks me, giving me puppy eyes

My weakness with her.

"You're all his friends?"I ask

"A handful of them, but yes."A little boy says

A handful? How many does he have?

I look at Shino. She nods. I scoop her up, thinking. Well if they are his friends.....Shino would not lie to me. Besides....Maybe it would help him to see his friends. Or "lover".

"Well.....One visit can't hurt. Come on."I say

Killer looks shocked that Shino convinced me more than him. I shrug and carry Shino as I lead them into the forest. I walk quickly, trying to avoid any trouble. I open the door and let them in, the door shutting on its own behind them.

"Nightmare! Votre amant est arrivé! Oh and your friends too!"I say, mostly to tease Nightmare

He teases me about Fallacy anyway. And from how he speaks of Killer, he certainly loves him and Killer shows signs of feeling the same. They are a good pair, though I haven't seen them spend time together yet.

Shino giggles.

"Encre!"She says

"What? It's true!"I say

"Encre? You're back?"Fallacy asks

"Yes, Fallacy. I'm back."I say, setting Shino down

I look around, unable to spot him. Shino looks up at me with a smile. I feel two arms wrap around me from behind. I look up behind me and see him.

"I missed you, Love."He says

My face burns up a bit.

"I wasn't even gone that long!"I tell him

"Hey, time goes slow when you miss someone."He says

"Monsieur! You gotta be joking!"I say

"No jokes here, Encre."He says, his face starting to turn yellow

He gazes at me with a certain emotion in his eyes. Love.

"Wait, I know that look! Don't you dare! Not in front of Shino and her friends!"I tell him, my face burning more

"Aww, that lil thing is back on your face."He says

"What is?!"I ask

He places a hand on my burning cheek.

"This is."He says, referring to the rainbow that I know is my blush

"Fallacy, I told you, it is nothing! Now don't you dare do you-know-what! Shino and her friends are here!"I tell him

You-know-what is him ambushing me with kisses or even biting my neck again.

"Wait, Shino? Her friends?"He asks

How did he not notice them?

"Yes! That is what I said!"I reply

"Hey, Fallacy!"Shino says

Fallacy went over to Shino excitedly. They whisper and laugh with each other. Her friends seemed shocked, except the little boy that she says is Radier.

"So, what brings you all here?"Fallacy asks

"They came for Nightmare. One of them is extremely worried that trouble may come. Killer to be exact."I say

He looks at me in surprise.

"Oh! He's here? Which one is he?"He asks

I point to Killer.

"Ah, interesting. Nice to meet you, Killer. I've heard a lot about you. Wait..."He says

He goes over to Error.

"So you're the multiverse destroyer. Interesting..."He says

"HoW d0 yoU kNoW?"Error asks

"I've read a lot of tales about ya. Plus, Nightmare tells a lot about you guys."He says

"I seE...."Error says

Suddenly there is some yelling and another skeleton lands roughly in front of me. He rubs his skull, looking dazed from the fall.

"Bonjour!"I say as I help him up

"Oh, hello!"He says

"InK, whAt arE you dOinG hErE?"Error asks

Fallacy looks at the two of us curiously.

"Your brother sent me to make sure you guys are okay."Ink says

"Are you okay?"I ask

"Yes. Thanks."Ink says

I get the sense that the others want to speak privately.

"You're Encre, right?"Ink asks

I nod.

"Wanna paint?"I ask

"Sure!"Ink says happily

The two of us go off to create and make art.

Fallacy's POV

"So, that's your Encre?"I ask

"InK iS hIs nAmE, bUt yEs."Error says

"I didn't see any marks on his neck."I point out

"WaiT...yOu mEaN....CouRsE nOt! WhErE I cOmE fRom, wE dOn'T maRk pEoPle liKe yOu dO."He says

"Then how do you show ownership?"I ask

"We sHoW tHat iN oThEr wAys. MaNy, iT cAn dIfFer fRom pErSon tO pErSon, bUt I sHow iT bY maKinG iT clEaR nOt tO tRy aNytHing oR tHey wIlL pAy."He says

"Got that right."Cross and Killer say

Shino and Radier chuckle.

"Smart."I say

Especially since they don't have fangs....

"So, dO yOu fInd EnCre cUte lIke I dO tO mY InKy?"Error asks

I feel my face burn.

What if they are secretly listening in? Encre doesn't remember how we were so it may be weird for him to hear me speak about him like that. Friends don't find friends cute in the way lovers do. Or how this guy does to Ink.

"N-No! That is foolish."I deny

"DuDe, I sAw hOw yOu jUst aCtEd oR sPoKe tO hIm. YoU clEaRly dO."Error says

I stay silent, crossing my arms.

And that started a round of teasing from Error and the other guys. One guy named Cross kept repeating the question about if I have a crush on Encre or not. I do but what if Encre hears? I hear laughter. I look to the stairs and see Encre's grandma, Azula, Felicia and Poussière witnessing this while trying to muffle their laughs at my troubles. I glare at them and they run off, realizing I spotted them. Thanks for the help! NOT!

"All of you quit it! I can't say! He might hear you! He lost his memory so he doesn't know!"I say

"Wait, know what?"Cross asks

"My feelings or anything that happened beyond being friends."I say

"Ah! So you have told him!"Cross says

"Yes, I have. But he lost his memory and I don't want to freak him out."I say

"WaIt, wHat iS tHat mArk oN yOur nEcK?"Error asks

"He turned into a vampire once and marked me. But he is no longer a vampire."I say

"Why don't ya tell him? Again? Doesn't seem so hard."Cross says

"I told you, I don't want to freak him out with his lack of memory. Besides, you're one to talk about confessions. Nightmare says you haven't confessed to your crush yet. Unless, you confessed to his brother while he is here? Unless it's too hard for you."I respond

Cross goes silent, his face burning up now. Error chuckles. Killer smirks. Shino and Radier tell me Cross has not and said I made a good comeback.

"Father? I have something to tell you."I hear my son Jasper say

"Yes, Jasper?"I ask, taking this as a chance to change the subject

Down the stairs comes Jasper.

"Speaking of marking....I might have bitten Nightmare for his own safety."Jasper says

"You what?!"I snap

How many times have I told him not to mark guests?! And his friends are here! Killer is here! They might get upset!

"What? Suave said the council is coming and you know how they get! Anyone here that isn't mark is like an item put up for auction! And you as well as Encre made it clear you didn't want anything to happen to him! Would you have rathered one of them do it?"Jasper explains

"When did you do this?"I ask

"Early this morning."Jasper replies

"Okay then....Well, his amant is here. And that means you bit a were-octopus."I say, gesturing to Killer

Shino chuckles again. Killer looks completely lost and confused. 

"Oh! My apologies, sir! I can assure you he is ok, though! Father, I know, I've seen him transform. I've already apologized to him. Here, I'll go get him!"Jasper says, then runs off

"Ok..?"Killer says confusedly

"Sorry about that."I say

"It's okay..."He says, still confused

"Why do you call him a were-octopus?"Cross asks

"Because that's what he is. Or seems to be. How else could he grow tentacles?"I say

They look at each other and shrug. 

"So, Killer, how long have you two been together?"I ask

"What do you mean?"He asks

"You and Nightmare."I says

"Emm...For a while now."He replies

"Oooo! Congratulations on the lasting relationship! You two do seem fit for each other as a couple!"I say

From what Nightmare tells us they do seem good for each other.

His face burns up.

"Oh! No, you misunderstand, it isn't like that. I've been with him as a friend for a while."He says, trying to deny it

"Sure.~ Whatever you say."I say with sarcasm

"GAH!"Jasper yells

I look and see him come running back.

"We have a problem! There are spikes!"Jasper says

"What do you mean spikes?"I ask

"I mean spikes coming through and around the door, denying any way of entry. One even had a note on it saying: STAY OUT BEFORE I KILL YOU TOO. I AM DOING YOU A FAVOR GETTING RID OF HIM. Last time I checked, Nightmare can't summon spikes."Jasper explains

No! Nightmare will not get hurt! I will not have another friend get hurt from those things!

"Well, we'll see who's getting killed or not! Nobody tresspasses, vandalizes the place with spikes, or threatens the well-being of my friends or family and gets away with it!"I say

I run up the stairs with Jasper. Nightmare's friends follow. I go to Nightmare's room and sure enough, there are spikes blocking the way. I reach into my pocket, taking out a vial of a chemical Suave made. I pour it on the spikes and it burned them like acid until the spikes were gone. I get the door open but nobody was inside. Nobody but a shadow that just shut a window.

"Master will be proud."It says

Then it disappears. Jasper starts to panic but Shino and Radier calm him down. Then he gets excited, meeting two new friends. Which is rare for him since most vampires around here are older than him. He mostly plays with the werewolf pups. Error notices Killer did not come. He facepalms and starts talking with Cross, trying to figure out where Killer ran off to now at a time like this. I open the window and see a wonderful sight. I get the answers to their questions, but they don't know. 

I see three spikes get knocked aside before shrinking away. Killer caught Nightmare way down below. I could see Nightmare got wounded and could smell his blood. My guess is that he got knocked out. But I could hear Killer very clearly.

"Come on, Nightmare! Wake up! Please!"Killer begs Nightmare

No response.

"Nightmare, please. I got you. You can wake up."Killer pleas, healing Nightmare's wounded skull

No response still. Killer nuzzles Nightmare's head gently. That caused Nightmare to move a bit.

"Nightmare!"Killer cheers

Nightmare woke up, but I could tell he is dizzy and lost still.

I couldn't hear what Nightmare was saying, he spoke so softly. Killer on the other hand was louder. His friends were too busy to hear what was happening down below.

"Hello, Nightmare."Killer says

Nightmare says something.

"You were tossed out a window. But I got you. You're safe."Killer says

Nightmare speaks.

"You okay?"Killer asks

Nightmare says something.

"Oh really?"Killer says

Nightmare's face burns up and he starts shaking. His gaze locks onto Killer. He says something.

"Yes you did. And you look so cute when you realized it.~"Killer says

Nightmare begins to shake more. Killer carries him out of sight, heading to the entrance. I could no longer hear them, but I get an idea of what happened.

Shino's ship is sailing.

I turn and leave the room while the rest of them chat. My friends are whispering in the hall, but scatter when they see me coming down the hall. Strange....Eh, whatever.

"Aww, Nightmare! You're with ton amour!"I hear Encre say

"And why aren't you with yours?"Nightmare asks

Encre goes silent.

What does that mean? Is there someone else? Or is it me? HE IS MY ENCRE!

"Did someone say amour?"I ask, taking the chance to come in

I come up behind Encre. He froze up. Ink chuckles, but gets hugged from behind by Error. Encre looks up at me with his adorable rainbow face. 

Radier, Shino, and Cross rush over to Nightmare. They run off with Nightmare to make sure he is okay and to check for wounds. Apparently if Cross didn't, his crush aka Nightmare's brother Dream will have his head. And not in the good way. Suave and my friends follow them to make sure they don't break anything.

Killer and Nightmare chat. Then they kiss. Nightmare pins him to the floor in the kiss. Everyone starts cheering, even Encre, though most was in French.

"Eww! Another ship."Jasper says

"Jasper! Be nice."I say, happy for them

Nightmare hides his face from all the attention.

Encre was still talking. I decide to take my shot. I lean in and kiss him. His face burns up and he looks at me in pure shock. I pull back.

"Monsieur..."He says quietly

"What? I thought with them all getting lovey-dovey, maybe I should try it too."I say

He is silent.

What was I thinking?!

"My apologies, I-"I begin

He stops me with a kiss on the cheek. He runs off.

My face burns up.

I feel my cheek softly.

Could he remember? Or could he just feel the same again?

"Who's not in love now?"Cross teases me

Wait....The council is coming!

"I suggest you get out of here before the council comes. They aren't as friendly to non-vampires."I say

"Have fun.~"Cross teases

I ignore him.

"Remember the warning I gave you."She says

Renew and E!Gaster....right.

"Will do. Thank you all. It was a pleasure meeting you. Now, I have some business to attend to. Encre, I know you're there."I say with a smirk and sense him nearby

Might as well have fun before the council comes.

"You know what happens now.~"I say

"EEP!"He yelps

I hear him run off.

"Get back here!"I say, chasing him

Didn't take long to catch him. I pin him against the wall. He looks up at me with his face covered in an adorable rainbow.

"F-F-Fallacy, I-I-"He stutters

"Ssssh, calm down."I say softly

His gaze is locked onto me.

"You're not upset?"He asks

"About what?"I ask

"I kissed you while I still don't remember much about you besides that you're a friend."He says

"Well that's what your head tells you. What does your soul tell you?"I ask

His face burns even more.

"It tells me to protect you. To make you happy."He says

"That's what mine says about you. As well as many other things."I say

"So what are ya gonna do?"He asks, gripping onto me

"I will do what my soul tells me to. But not here."I say

I take us to our room, or in his memory just mine. I set him down on the bed but he grips me nervously.

"F-Fallacy?"He says

I know how to relax him.

I lean in and start kissing his neck.

"F-Fallacy!"He squeaks

I keep going.

"A-Aaaah....."He grips me tighter

I kiss his mark.

"EEP! F-Fallacy! My neck is s-sensitive!"He yelps

"I know. But you never disliked me kissing your neck."I say

"T-True."He says

I kiss the mark again. His grip loosens. I feel him relax. I look at him. His face is burning still.

"Adorable as always."I say, kissing his cheek

He hugs me close.

"I wish I could remember more...."He says

"It'll come back, don't you worry."I say

"Okay but I will protect you. I must protect you."He says

"Pfft, you leave the protecting to me, Encre."I say

He shakes his head.

"Encre. You leave the protecting to me. Got it?"I say

"Fine."He says

I knew he isn't really agreeing. I tuck him into the bed. I tell him that we usually share this room. That put him at ease. He dozed off. I go to have a talk with Suave.

I will protect him even if he doesn't agree to it.
