A day later, Encre's POV

I sit on the edge of a glass-less window. That jerk Alexis left me here, trapped and to wait to meet her boss. She changed my clothes to make me "more likable" or whatever. Ya, she said that after cutting my cheek. Logic left her. Though I doubt she ever had any logic.

I am too high up to try and escape. Plus, I want to see what else they might've done. I get this feeling to do this. 

I gaze at the night sky. The bright moon shines and I wonder how my friends are doing. Or Fallacy...

"Grandson, I've made a deal. But you must sleep to fulfill our side of the deal."A voice says

I look to see my grandfather there.

"What did you do?"I ask

"Don't ask questions. Your lover's parents or grandparents are getting him to sleep now."He says

"Connected dream?"I say

He nods.

"Okay!"I say, happier already

I get off of the ledge and leap onto the hay bales that are supposed to be my bed with a towel for a blanket. 

"Thank you, Grandpa!"I say

He smiles.

I doze off.

I appear in the castle, or what seemed to be the castle. I find a trail of flowers. I follow it and go to our room. Candles in the hall turn on as I walked. I turn the knob and peek inside. The room is dark with only a few candles dimly lit. Strange, I thought Fallacy would be here. Then I see him at the room's balcony door. The flower trail ends in the room.

I smile. His back is to me, just staring out into the empty space outside. I push the door open, earning a faint creak from it. I step inside. I go to the end of the trail.

"Fallacy? Is it really you? Or is this a normal dream?"I say

His head twitches. He turns around and looks at me.

"Love!"He cheers

He runs and holds me closer, hugging me.

"I love you! I love you, I love you, I love you! Thank you to our families for making this deal!"He says excitedly

I look up at him. He smiles but is crying.

"Fallacy...Please don't cry."I say

"What else am I supposed to do? I don't know what to do or where to find you guys!"He cries

"Plural? What happened, Fallacy?"I ask

"They took Felicia and Jasper, then nearly killed Suave while all the vampires were busy. How have they treated you?"He asks

I brush some hair aside.

"Well so far I'm stuck in some tower, in different clothes and they cut me again. I am waiting to meet the boss...I haven't seen your family though...."I say

"Well, at least I get to see you again, Love."He says, picking me up

"F-Fallacy?"I stutter

He kisses my neck. My face burns up.

"A-Always right to the neck, huh?"I say

"I'm a vampire, what do ya expect?"He teases

"Right," I say

He sets me on the bed. He lays beside me, pulling me close. He nuzzles his head against my chest.

"Your soul beat is so comforting...."He says

I smile.

"Happy to comfort you."I say

"Hey! Hey, Encre! Wake up!"A voice shouts

"Who's that?"He asks

"Probably the boss I am supposed to meet."I say

"Ignore him...Stay with me."He says, clutching me tighter

I feel something stab my shoulder.

"Agh!"I grunt

I could feel myself waking up on instinct.

"Mon amour, I don't have much a choice. But I will find Jasper and your sister. I will get them back to you and find a way back to you. See you then."I say

"Nononono! Love! Please! Don't go!"He cries

I kiss his cheek.

"I can't do this alone...."He says

"You're not alone. We stand together. Just not literally at the moment. Stay strong, I know you got this."I say, holding his hand

"Love...."He whimpers

Then I woke up.

"Ah, bout time you awoke. Now tell me, what do you think about my spy?"A voice says

I feel a kiss on my cheek and someone pats my head. I look to see a bearded man with hair a brighter red than Yosemite Sam's mustache or hair, even when he is angry.

I frown.

"I think you and your spy can burn in hell, that's what! Now, what did you do with my friends?"I snap

"Huh?"He says

"A vampire kid and his aunt! Your people took them! What have you done to them?"I snap

"Oh! Them! They are none of your concern."He says

I notice a dagger in his belt. I quickly snatch it and point it at his neck.

"Actually, it is. And if you want to keep that ugly bearded face of yours without cuts or worse, it is for you too. Now take me to them."I growl, narrowing my eyes at him

"Okay okay!"He says

He takes me down a long spiraling stairwell and reaches a long hallway. I nudge him with the dagger and he keeps walking. He unlocks a door at the end and slowly opens the door.

"For the last time, you are getting nothing from us! And you are never laying a finger on my nephew!"I hear Felicia say

"Relax, you have a guest."He says, then shoves me in and locks the door behind me

"P-Please don't hurt us."Jasper says, seeing the dagger in my hand

"Jasper, don't beg. I will protect you no matter what."Felicia says

"You have been hurt enough, Auntie."Jasper says

I look at them and gasp, dropping the dagger.

Felicia is covered in wounds, including both her eyes to the point where she cannot see. Jasper has one cut on his cheek and another preventing him from opening an eye. Felicia is clutching onto him and he grips her right back, looking terrified. Felicia looks pissed off as hell, ready to blindly protect Jasper.

"What was that?"She snaps

"They dropped the weapon, Auntie."Jasper says

"Identify yourselves! Or you will be killed much slower! You're only luck is that they weakened our vampire abilities!"She snaps

I run to them and hug them gently.

"What the?"She says

"It's a....hug?"Jasper says

"You two did not deserve this.....But at least they did not kill you......I'm glad for that and Fallacy will be happier."I say

"W-Who are you?"Jasper asks

Felicia's anger melts away. She smiles slightly.

"Encre...Goodness, you're in this mess too? How badly did they hurt you? I'll kill them!"She says

"Wait...Encre?"Jasper says

"Hey, Jasper. Felicia, I'm ok. You will do none of that. You need to be healed and get to safety. I can do part of that."I say, healing them with magic

"Save your energy, Encre. Don't waste that ability."She says before I could heal her eyes.

"You mentioned Father...Is he okay? Oh, and please tell me Suave is okay."Jasper whimpers

"Your father is safe at home. Suave from what he said in a dream we shared got hurt pretty bad but it is okay now. They're safe and trying to help us."I say

"And how will they do that without getting killed?"Jasper asks

"Well, we're not the only ones they messed with. And trust me, there are others annoyed at these people."I say

"Like who?"She asks

"I'm sure you'll see."I say

Days pass. We are not fed, spoken to, or given any sort of attention. It's like they were trying to use boredom and solitude to get info out of us. BUT we aren't really bored or alone so that fails. And they just so happened to have put me with two of the most stubborn people I know, so we were just a trio of friends refusing to spill the beans.

One night, I wake up on the cold and hard floor while the other two rest. I hear bars getting bent. I look to the window and see the metal bars getting bent. A head peeks in.

"Heya, Encre!"Jess says

"Jess? What? How?"I say

"Sup."Her vampire lover says, popping his head in while lifting her up

"Oh! That makes much more sense!"I say

"We're here to help!"She says

"Huh?"Jasper says, waking up

"What's going on?"Felicia says

"Oh, dear! You poor dears!"Jess says

"Jasper, this is Jess and her vampire bud. You can trust them. Take your aunt and go with them. This is your ticket to freedom."I say

"But what about you?"He asks

"They certainly can't take all three of us. Besides, the bad people here will just come after us again if all of us are gone. I will handle it."I say

"But they said they are gonna kill you!"He says

I pick up the dagger.

"They'll have a hard time at that. Just go home, it will be okay."I say

"I'm telling my Father!"He whines like a kid about to tattle

Which he is.

I chuckle nervously.

"Alright. Jess, can you both-?"I begin

"OF COURSE!"She exclaims, picking Jasper up

She grabs Felicia and her lover lifts her up. They fly off. 

I sigh, feeling a bit of relief.

I doze back off, holding the dagger close to me but pointed out, ready to slice any attackers.

I drop into dreams and nightmares and a mix of both.

I get shaken awake and wake up to a pair of goons dragging me down a hall. I get thrown in some kind of canister the size of a closet. I bang and try to fight to get out. But even with a dagger, there was no use. A weird liquid fills the canister up to my waist. Then a strange gas or fog starts puffing down from the lid, making me choke and cough at every breath. I sink into the liquid, now up to my neck in the liquid. I am safe from the gas now, but unable to move. I took in so much of the gas that I start to feel dizzy, shutting my eyes.

At first, I had what I thought were weird dreams, but they were too real. I realize I'm having visions, bits, and pieces at first. I am with my friends, soaring through the air of the night sky.

"Hey! Who goes there?"A voice shouts

"Azure! Poussière! So good to see you! Wait...Were you on a flying date?"Jasper says

Azure and Poussière come into sight. Azure is in his arms. Poussière blushes.

"N-No..."They say

"Oh, dear! You got them back? Thank you both! Come on, let's get Felicia patched up!"Azure says

They nod.

"I must speak to my father too."Jasper says

They go inside and all my friends either thank Jess and her lover, James or start scrambling to help the two vampires recover. A while passes and they manage to neutralize the poison that weakened their vampire abilities. Felicia could hardly see but used her vampire senses to guide herself around. Soon she finds Suave.

"Aren't you supposed to be in a bed resting?"She says from behind him

"Huh?"He says

"Heya, Suave! Guess who's back.~"She says proudly

"Felicia! M'Lord will be so happy! So good to see you!"He says

"I'm just glad to know you're okay, bud. Now, Suave. I've heard from Poussière about the orders you were given and I am shocked to find you disobey them."She says

"Emmm, I don't know what your talking about."He says

"You're sorting books when you're supposed to be resting. You were ORDERED to rest."She says

"Ya caught me."He says

"That said. Let's get you to bed before my brother notices."She says, then unfold her wings

She scoops him up and flies him to his room, putting him in bed. Suave fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. I turn around, seeing Jasper run up the stairs. I get really curious, though know where he is going. Or who he is going to. But maybe I can see what goes down. I wanna, so can I try? I will try.

I go up the stairs, trailing behind Jasper. I see the hallway is darker now. He goes to our room and knocks at the door. 

"What is it?"A voice calls

Fallacy's voice.

"Father! It is me! Are you ok? Please be okay! I've missed you so much! I need to see you! Hug you! And talk to you!"Jasper pleas

The door creaks open. Jasper smiles.

"Father!"He cheers, full of so much joy

Fallacy steps out. He smiles at his son. I notice something. He is wearing my jacket...Tightly clutching it too.....

He loosens his grip on the coat and hugs Jasper happily.

"My son, I am so glad to see you again. Home and safe. It is such a relief to have you back in my grasp."He says

"I've missed you too, Father. B-"Jasper says

"I love you, Jasper."He says

"I love you too, Father."Jasper says

"Come in, let all your stress out to me."He says, taking Jasper into the bedroom

They sit on the bed together.

"Auntie should be downstairs too. Just so you know. They went so hard on her, beating her as if she was nothing! They were gonna kill us to hurt you! They said that it's one thing to kill the king of vampires but an even better thing to kill him emotionally and mentally by hurting those he loves most before killing him too. But they were trying to get our home's location out of us before we get killed. We refused......Then they put Encre with us."Jasper says

"Is he here? Love! Encre!"He shouts

My soul sank at hearing him shout for me. I try to shout but have no voice.

"Don't waste your voice, Father. He is not here.....Miss Jess and Mister James came to break us out. They could only take two of us. Encre sent me and Auntie off to make sure that we get here safe and none of those pieces of horse droppings come to hurt us again. But.....I'm scared, Father. They wanted to kill him in the most brutal of ways because they thought what's worse for you than to lose two of your loves. He said he'd fight but he will be well outnumbered....."Jasper explains

"I see. Do not worry, son. I am sure Encre is doing just fine. Those idiots must have some common sense that they will fail or be doomed the moment they try. We'll find him. We'll get him back."Fallacy says

"Good, because I don't think any of us can take a second loss of someone so good."Jasper says

Fallacy wipes his tears.

"Why don't you rest or get something to eat? I doubt those jerks treated you with those basic needs."He says

Jasper nods, leaving. 

Fallacy locks the door once Jasper left. The moment he turns his back to it, he takes the coat off and hugs it to himself. He starts to cry. I'm talking straight up sobs.

"Please...Love...Don't be dead. I can't lose you. Encre, just hang in there. I will find you!"He cries

I start crying. I could not take this sight. It hurt my soul too much.

"You are not dying on my husband now. You two are too good for each other. Your tale together is just starting, too soon to end. Allow me to help you."A voice booms

I nod. 

My eyes open, and I instantly covered my mouth to prevent drowning in the chemical or gas again. But I was not in complete control. 

I see the weak spots of the canister and punch there. In four hits it breaks and I leap out. The gas and the chemicals come pouring out, stinging the goons and catching their attention while I sat on the top of the canister.

"The fuck?! You're supposed to be dead!"They shout

"Well, he is not, bitches!"A voice says from me that is not mine

A few moments later, the goons are laying on the floor covered in wounds. 

Good luck.

I take the keys from them and unlock the door. I walk down the halls and through stairways, trying to find my way out of here. I have the motivation, a second chance, and newly found confidence. They won't take me down easily.

I take down any goon that crosses my path. Soon the halls and stairs are littered with goons knocked unconscious. I could not find the exit or a way out that would not kill me though. It feels like a maze on multiple floors.

Alexis soon crosses my path. She gets real close and in my face.

"We heard a commotion and find a load of guards knocked out. I'm guessing that was you?"She says

"Nah, I think that was karma coming to knock on their heads with common sense. I have no regrets."I say

"How the fuck is a weak piece of crap like you still alive?"She asks

"I wonder the same thing about you. But I am alive for the same ways that you are stupid: It's just the way things are. Look, you mess with the ones I care about, you pay. And I do not go down without a fight when you put them in danger."I say

"Well you know this could end if you leave Fallacy and be mine."She says

"That's my choice and I love Fallacy, so I think I speak for both of us when I say hell no."I say, kicking her away from me

She bounces off the wall and injects something into me, then herself.

"What the hell did you just do?"I ask

"Give me an opening. Let's see what's in that head of yours."She says, pinning me against a wall

I chuckle.

"Go ahead, we'll see how long you last."I say

I just watch the color drain from her face.

"Y-Your memories....."She says

"Ya like them?"I say with a smirk

She falls back and crawls backwards.

"What the hell are you?"She asks

"Oh, just a painter."I say

She stares at me in shock.

"I suggest you get the antidote for that before you reach when I was 7."I say

She runs off, screaming as the chemical shows her my memories.

I laugh, loving this sight. She earned it. 

A wolf walks in on all fours.

"Encre!"It says

It's the werewolf leader that Stacy is close with.

"Hello there."I say

"Stacy and I were attacked again under orders from Alexis, but I learn from my mistakes and sent her to be protected by my pack. I saw you getting taken after I took the jerks down. And now I saw Alexis running off, shaking like a leaf and as pale as snow. What the heck did you do?"He asks

"She did it to herself. I let her in my head."I say

"What?"He says

"She wanted to see what was inside my head so I let her. Least to say she did not like what she saw and it's best we don't go there. Not to mention my grandma put some magic on some memories to be a like a poison trap. Whoever looks upon the memories that I do not trust gets poisoned with different things from sicknesses, whacks on the head from a cane, etc. At least that's what my granny told me."I say

I see his ears go down.

"But hey, that's just what happens when someone tries to hurt the people I care about. Nothing good comes from it."I say

"I thought you were harmless."He says

"To you I am. I'm nice to anyone who is nice to me or those I care about. But if they're not, that's a different story. I act the way I do depending on who I'm with. I let them see the side of me I want them to. But it's best not to get into that either."I say

Oooo! I like you!

I smile widely.

"Let's get out of here."He says

I nod and follow him. Some goons attack us. He prevents me from fighting, taking the goons out but getting horribly wounded in the process. 

"Stay still."I say

I twar my dress from the bottom until I had enough to bandage him.

"What are you doing?"He asks

"Using their clothes to bandage you."I say, wrapping the fabrics around his wounds

"Wow....You're a kind soul."He says

"Thanks."I say

"Hop on."He says

I didn't get a chance to answer. He tosses me onto his back and runs off. He runs so fast that everything is a blur.

"I'm not taking you to Fallacy's home beacuse they would expect that to be the first place you go. I'm taking you somewhere else and will send one of my wolves to deliver the message."He says

It starts raining. I nod.

We go deep into a forest and into a cave. Down deeper and deeper he carries me, kicking rocks under his speedy steps. 

"Encre!"A voice cheers

I look over, seeing Stacy here. 

Must be at his pack's home.

"Alpha, who did you bring now?"A wolf asks

"A friend that was in need in help. Now, who can send a message for me?"He says

A wolf hops up, turning human.

"Me! Me!"They say

"Alright."He says, then goes into a hut

The wolf follows.

Stacy smiles at me, then tries to help my wounds the best she could. We sit and talk to each other. She hugs me when I explained what happened. She was so happy to hear everything ends okay from what it seems at the moment. I watch the wolf that volunteers run into the night with an envelope in his mouth.

Hours and soon a day or two pass. I smile and just relax with Stacy, enjoying the security I am in.

One night, I doze off and find a strange dream there to welcome me. I'm no place I know but it's dark everywhere else. I stay in the space where there is light. Curiously, I look up. I see Fallacy falling without his wings. I run to catch him and hop up, grabbing him. He seems to be out cold despite being in a dream.

"Fallacy!"I exclaim

Instantly, he woke up. He looks at me, almost in shock.

"Fallacy, are you okay? You were falling!"I say

"Oh.....Guess I went into V-fermer."He says

"What the heck is that?"I ask worriedly

"It's basically a rare action from vampires. When a vampire is under a lot of stress or has a lot of emotions building up inside, the body automatically does this. It shuts down basically until the vampire gets their shit together."He says

"Then I guess you are that vampire now."I say, hugging him close

"Love, how have you been? Jasper told me what they plan to do with you."He says

"I'm alright. Yeah, they had that plan but like all idiots, it failed."I say

"Please explain that to me."He says, gently feeling my cheek

"You don't want to be put down?"I say

"That too."He says

I put him down but he holds my cheek gently.

"Okay, so they succeeded at killing me. They put me in some canister that was full of poisonous gas and weird chemicals. But then I got some sights of what you guys were doing. Suave getting put back into bed by your sister and you talking with Jasper. I saw you cry the moment he left. I could not talk though. Then I think your wife came? Yeah, I didn't see her but heard her and she helped me escape from the canister. Then she left me to do the rest."I explain

"Wow....."He says

"She sounded nice."I say

"She was. Did anyone hurt you once you escaped from that trap?"He asks

"Hmmm, they had plenty of helpers that tried to attack me, but they had to take naps first. So I helped them by knocking them out. Then Alexis came....."I say

"What did she do to you, Love?"He asks with a venomous tone at the mention of her

"She tried to belittle me, as if that would make me give in. Then she offered for this to end if I left you to be hers. I spoke for both of us and said hell no."I say, pausing when I see Fallacy fist pump the air as if saying SCORE!

"Fallacy, did you think I would've said yes to someone as crazy as her?"I ask

"No.....But there are possibilities in these kinds of situations...."He says

"Alright. Well she injected herself with something that allowed her to see into my head and let's just say things ended right there with her."I say, smiling a bit

He looks so confused on what I meant. He shrugs it off.

"Whatever you say, Love."He says

"Now what will it take for you to snap out of this shutdown? I don't think Jasper would like to walk in on his father in this condition. Plus, you should have a letter coming."I say

"Hmmm, I think I know."He says

I hear a noise and turn to see a tree grow behind me. I look at Fallacy, realizing what he's gonna do. Before I could speak or do anything, he pins me to it.

"This again?"I say

"Yep. It's been too long for me."He says, kissing my cheek

My face burns up.

"Besides, nobody can bother us in a dream.~"He says

He kisses my hands he has pinned above my head to the tree. He kisses down each arm, making my soul race.

"Mon a-amour! F-F-Fallacy!"I stutter

He ignores me. He keeps kissing me along my body. Any part of me exposed he would kiss. It drove me nuts.

"What is this? Another investigation?"I ask

"Hmmm, no. But maybe now it will be.~"He says

"What are you after this time?"I ask

"Your cuteness."He says

My face burns up. 

What exactly is he after when he says that?

I feel him kiss my forehead again. I give in, not struggling. If this helps his condition, I won't fight against it. I stay quiet.

Then he flips me over, pinning me to the tree with my back to him.

"F-Fallacy? W-What are you doing?"I ask

"Trying to get what I need."He says

"And w-w-what is that?"I ask

"I'm not telling you or you might try to keep it from me."He says

I go quiet. I could not turn my head enough to look at him. I feel him start to kiss me down the back of my arms. I stay quiet, my soul racing. He kisses the back of my shoulders.

"Mmmh...."I struggle to stay quiet

"Nearly there."He says

What?!

He keeps kissing me there. I muffle my noises.

"Come on, Love. Let it out."He says

"Let what ou-EEEP!"I yelp when he kisses the back of my neck

"There it is."He says

My soul skips a beat.

"W-What?"I squeak

"And again. Your adorable squeaks or yelps of course. So cute."He says

My soul keeps skipping beats.

He keeps kissing the back of my neck, making me yelp or squeak whenever he found a new angle or spot. My face is on fire by now. Then he finds one of my more sensitive spots.

"Aaah....."I say softly

He keeps looking for other spots to kiss.

"F-Fallacy? Isn't this enough? I gave you want you needed. How much longer are you gonna make me yelp? How many more kisses will you give my neck?"I ask

He is silent.

"Mon amour?"I say

"You're right. You have. I think that's enough for now, but I gotta be fair. I have one more spot to kiss."He says

I sigh, a bit relieved and ready to let out one last yelp. But he doesn't kiss my neck. 

He turns me around, scooping me into his arms and grins. He leans closer and kisses me. My soul nearly leapt out of me. I gently cup his cheeks with my hands, giving into the kiss.Now HIS face burns up. He looks at me in shock, but that melts to joy. He holds the kiss there and holds me close to him. I enjoy it the most I could. He pulls back and looks at me with a smile.

"I think you should try to wake up now."I say

He nods, putting me down.

"See you soon."I say

"Soon we'll literally stand together."He says, kissing my cheek

Then he disappears. I wake up only moments later.

Meanwhile, NO POV

Fallacy leaves his room only to hear a commotion. He goes to investigate. He sees a bunch of vampires guiding a wolf inside.

"He says he has a letter for you."Poussière says

This brought joy to Fallacy, recalling what Encre told him. The sun rises and so the wolf turns to his human form. He takes the envelope out of his mouth where it had dangled while being transported. He wipes the corner clean and Suave takes it. He checks it to make sure it was clean and safe. He nods, then goes up the stairs, giving it to Fallacy. Fallacy opens the envelope and takes a letter out. 

Dear Lord Fallacy,

Greetings! My pack and I hope this letter reaches you at a good time. I have repaid the favor. By the time you get this, I have kept your love with my pack for days after retrieving them from some jerks. It was a joy to have her, er him. He both impresses and scares me. You chose a nice one. But are you sure he is harmless? No matter, but just some advice. NEVER try to sneak into his head or upset his grandma.....Unless you want to end up broken like that Alexis girl. Apparently the grandmother put a protection thing on his mind with magic and it is deadly to intruders. Let alone whatever the memories really are.....Don't go there. He sent that coward running and crying in pain without laying a hand on her to give you an idea. He is also kind and resourceful, using what was near to bandage me. Pfft, he is also stubborn like you. You certainly marked the right one for love. But I am getting off-topic. By the time you get this, between weeks or even a month, I will have plans to start to safely return your lover to you. My goal is before the full moon of April. For safety, we agreed to not meet RIGHT at your castle, but nearby. He knows a blacksmith's forge. We'll meet in the forest behind the forge. But this is no longer about favors and lovers to save, this is serious. I am calling for an alliance between both our kingdoms or pack to work together and take down that human threat. Because these troubles from them shall not leave, I heard plenty from the guards I attacked to get your lover to know that. So, if it's alright with you, I will stay to speak with you on the situation and what we should do. I'll leave my mate in charge. Looking forward to speaking with you!

He reads it a couple times and nods. It is nearly the end of March. That sounds fine and exactly what is needed to be done. He felt proud of Encre when reading the parts telling what his lover did.

"I must get a response and return it."The messenger says

Fallacy nods.

"What's that?"Jasper asks

He snatches it from his father before he could answer. He skims it and was done too soon to have read the whole thing.

"Auntie! Auntie! I have wonderful news! Auntie where are you?"He cheers, running off with joy and the letter

He chuckles.

"I am definitely not getting that back."He mutters

He looks to the messenger.

"I'll be right back."He says, heading down the hall

He writes a response in his room and comes back a few minutes later with it. 

Suave takes it and gives it to the messenger. The messenger smiles, then goes outside and rests under a tree. Suave is sent to bed again, still needing to recover and always rebelling because he wants to help. At sundown the messenger ran off.

 Jasper finally found his auntie and delivered the news, reading parts of the note to her. She got really happy. Then she blindly went to "speak" with her brother. Fallacy had been just waiting to see how long it would take, expecting this. He listened to what Encre said and no longer complains about his sister's playful tactics to help him. Plus he did miss her and loves her too much to lose her, no matter how many jokes of hers annoy him. And it's always a little funny now to watch her try to blindly surprise him but instead hug a pillow or something and then confusedly figure out how she missed him.

Back to Encre's POV a week later

I wake up to find a bunch of the female werewolves circled around me. It is day so they are in human forms. They all gaze at me curiously or skeptically.

"Umm.....Hi?"I say

"We heard you were going to be returned to the Vampire King."One says

"You are marked. Did he mark you?"A second asks

"Does he love you?"A third asks

"Are you his lover?"A fourth asks

"Yes. Yes. Yes."I reply

"Well there is no way you are going back like that. In rags and torn. Dirty."Four more say from behind me

"Don't worry, we'll help you little girl."One says

Well Stacy didn't tell them the truth about me obviously.

Moments later, they run off giggling. The alpha leader comes in.

"Shoot, forgot to tell them. Sorry."He says

"It's ok."I say

"Come on, it's time to go. I just left Stacy in charge."He says, turning to a wolf

I nod. He puts me on his back since there is no way I'd be able to keep up. He runs out and leaves the cave of the pack. He runs as fast as he can. I look up and see the half moon. It shines beautifully.

"If my messenger made it, Fallacy should come soon. And if I know him well enough, he will come moments after we come or even be there waiting."He says

I smile. He runs through the night, taking out any hunters that attack. He kept running, through day and night. He rests at noon and I make sure we're safe.But the moment he wakes up again, I get tossed onto his back and he takes off again.

At one point, I hear his belly growl. I heard it very loudly, meaning he is very hungry. I haven't seen him eat anything since we left the cave, which is days ago now.

I hop off of him.

He stops and makes a U-turn back to me.

"What are you doing? We aren't there yet."He says, panting

"You're hungry. Running will just make you lose energy and weaken you. Now go eat or I'll figure something out."I say

"We have to keep moving."He says

I sit down.

"Well I'm going nowhere until you care for yourself."I say

He sighs.

"It'll be a waste of time to hunt....."He mutters

I gaze at him, waiting for him to make a choice. He tries to get me to stand.

"We gotta stay on schedule."He says

I stay in my spot.

"Not until you eat!"I say

"Gosh you are stubborn."He says

"My grandma calls it determined and a good trait to have."I say

He sighs.

"But I don't wanna waste time."He says

I get an idea.

"Maybe you won't have to."I say, starting to summon some magic

"Huh?"He says

I focus my energy and summon some fresh food.

"Here you go."I say, extending the food to him

He looks at me in shock.

"You're full of surprises."He says

"Thanks!"I say, thinking that's a good thing

He eats the food, then puts me back onto his back.

He keeps running until we reach another forest. We peek around the trees and I see the forge.

"We're here then."He says

He sets me down and howls to the full moon.

I sit there as he prowls around, looking for any threats or others. He told me to stay here, so I do. A few moments pass. He returns, but not alone.

"Encre!"Fallacy exclaims, running over and hugging me

I hug him back. He starts shaking, crying.

"Monsieur?"I say

He buries his head in my chest.

"I'm so glad you're ok."He whimpers

"Aww, Fallacy. It's okay now. I told you that you got this, and you do. Everything worked out fine so you can't say you didn't."I whisper to him

He looks up at me.

"A-Also, I wanted to hear your soul's melody again."He whispers

I smile.

"Listen to it all that you'd like."I whisper

He smiles, then buries his face in my chest again.

I look to the alpha and he looks so confused on what to do.

"I was not expecting this."He says

I chuckle a bit.

"So umm...."He says

"Give him a moment."I say

He nods.

A few moments pass instead.

Fallacy shifts his head and kisses my neck. My face burns. He smiles and muffles a chuckle. 

Oh, he wants to play like that? Well so can I.

He scoops me up.

"Thank you so much for bringing him back, Dane."Fallacy says

"No problem, now. We need to talk..."He says

I kiss Fallacy on the cheek. He didn't expect that and honestly looks dazed as his face turns yellow.

He looks at me with a dazed look in his eyes mixed with a lovestruck one. The kind that says You sent me to Cloud Nine.

"Are you okay Fallacy?"Dane asks

I smile at him. His face burns even more. He looks at Dane.

"Oh, uh....Yeah, I-I'm okay. What were we discussing?"He says

"Your lover."Dane says

"Oh ya! Love's harmless! So is his grandma! As long as you treat them respectfully that is! Now, let's go so nobody hears!"He says, unfolding his wings and flying to the castle

He places me on the balcony to our room.

"Go inside and wait to turn back to yourself. Change into clothes in the closet when you do. I'll discuss things with Dane."He says

"Okay."I say

"Oh! And go check on everyone to let them see you're here. They've all been worried sick. And if you want to change the subject when Azure or Poussière ask questions, simply change the subject to the mark he gave Azure. We both missed the good stuff."He says

"Dang it. Alright. You better not skip or drop out of the discussion with Dane like you do with your council."I tell him

"I won't."He says

He kisses me and holds it for a moment.

"So good to have you back."He says, then flies down to meet Dane at the front doors

I smile. I go in and as soon as I shut the balcony doors, I became a skeleton again. I change clothes and then the door gets busted down.

"WHERE IS SHE?!"Charlos shouts as he runs in

"Where is who?"I ask

"Oh! Welcome back Encre! I could've sworn I saw a human kissing Fallacy!"He says, hugging me

"Em, I haven't seen anyone."I say

He checks the balcony.

"Huh, must have been my imagination."He says with relief

He turns to me.

"Come on! I got to show everyone you're back!"He says excitedly

And off we went, the little vampire dragging me down the halls to show everyone. They each hugged me and I saw what Fallacy meant. Poussière did mark Azure. Felicia comes in and smiles, blindly hugging me.

"Geno! Get in here!"Poussière shouts

Geno comes in.

"Oh! Welcome back, Encre!"He says

Suave comes over and joins the hug. Jasper nudges Geno over to us.

"You are the patch squad!"Jasper says

I look at them and realize we have patches over our eyes.

"I guess you're right."I say

Felicia chuckles.

Suave and Geno look at each other, then chuckle a bit. Gramma came in, tackling me with a hug. We all just laugh and have fun spending time together. Eventually I explained the situation to most of them. They understood. But they each said the same thing. Not the exact same words but to summarize it was the same.

"It doesn't matter what threat or trouble comes! We stand together!"They said

But who knew what would come next. Oh, wait. JASPER DID!
