The whole walk to your part time job was silent. Seonghwa didnt utter a word since what happened in the basketball court and your cheeks reddened while it didnt seems to bother him as he walk straight up like nothing just happened.

You both reached the cafe and take your apron and nametag each. Seonghwa quickly stand behind the counter and you just look around, not knowing what to do. Seonghwa usher you to stand next to him and the door open. For a few minutes, the cafe wasnt too packed so Seonghwa handle all of the drinks and only told you to serve the deserts which you are greatful for.

But your happiness didnt last long when number of highschool girls entered not even an hour into your work and start fangirling over Seonghwa. He finally asked you to make a drink and you froze. 'What if the customers didnt like it? What if its bitter? What if...'

"Y/N?"

You snap awake by the call from Seonghwa and your eyes widened. You've been practicing all night how to make it but you still cant trust yourself.

"Y/N can you make it?", Seonghwa's voice was soothing and calm, no hint of annoyance or irritation. You slowly nod your head and take the coffee powders in your shaky hands and sweat. 'For fuck's sake Y/N its just coffee'

Seonghwa seems to caught your hesitation and he took the grinder from your hand. "Go and clean that table, I'll handle the counter".

As much as you like to protest, you knew you were not in the place to let your pride take you over so you just sigh and nod and then left.

You clean table no.10 when a group of boys enter the cafe and took the now clean table. You are about to leave when one of them grab your hand and you gasp.

"Are you a new worker? You're very pretty"

You scoff at him and rolled your eyes. "Thats none of your bussiness sir"

His friends cooed and his grip on your hand tightened as you started sweating.

"Fiesty one huh? You got any boyfriend"

You are almost close to punching him in the face when someone hold the hand that were holding your's.

"I suggest you take your hands off our worker while we tell you nicely sir"

You whip your head towards Seonghwa and your heart melt. 'He's becoming more handsome day by day aint he? Wait- what the fuck Y/N stop your fantasy'.

The man chuckle and loosened your hand. You left with Seonghwa after taking their order nicely and you could see the man shamelessly checking some female customers as well. Your blood boil for a second and your gaze tightened around Seonghwa.

"No Y/N, we cant do anything about it if we want to keep our job. The best solution is just ignore them". Seonghwa knew exactly what you were about to asked him.

"But isnt that sexual harrasment?", you were confuse and just stood next to him behind the counter again.

"Thats just eye fucking. Whatever they take outside the cafe isnt our problems anymore"

You sigh and think about the cruelty world for a while and decided to forget it. This time Seonghwa finally letting you make some coffee and you tried your best. Meassuring the same ammounts of the coffee and creams were your weak spot, however after getting corrections from Seonghwa, you were finally able to serve your first coffee ever made by yourself.

"I'll take you home", you never take Seonghwa to be such a gentleman and you blush. You could only nod and just let him walk you home.

You took a cab and let him follow you home since he said he will accompany you till you reach home and after paying the driver, you step out and Seonghwa soon came out as well.

"You dont need to come out Seonghwa, you can just go"

He didnt listen to you and say something to the cab driver and he drove off.

"My house is not far from here, I can walk home", Seonghwa tells you and wait for you to enter your house.

You dont trust him fully but you just nod your head and turn around. You stop in your track and you dont know what kind of boldness possess you but you turn back and speed your way to Seonghwa and give him a peck on the cheek.

"Thank you"

You ran inside after getting your face full flushed red by how hard you're blushing and grab water to cool you off.

"Was that the man?", you heard you father as he open the curtain to the window and smile to himself.

"Dad! Are you stalking him?"

He only smile sheepishly at you and you knew he did do something. You fold your arms and tap your foot lightly, telling him you're listening.

"I only went a few background on him okay? Nice family and personality, quiet mature who is independent and does not rely on his family. I approved"

Your mouth drop as you watch your father dissapearing into his room after winking at you and you left for your room as well.

'Now what? Everyone probably think we're dating. Our classmates saw us kissing. My dad approved of him, I only need his approval now'

"Stop playing so hard to get Park Seonghwa"
