Ignore my terrible attempt at drawing Levi... but this is how she is meant to look like... Just so you know...
~*~
Panting, I placed my hands on my knees as I tried to catch my breath. During the panic I had dragged Brandon to the shadows behind the building as I rested to regain my breath. Thoughts were running through my head in mayhem as I tried to sort them out.
I'm suspected for homicide? For who? My father? They thought I killed my own father?! What kind of teenage girl would kill their only living family member?!
The thoughts of my father reminded me of why I was at a MgRonalds light-years away from my hometown at 7am in the morning. Straightening, I brushed down my clothes and took a deep breath.
"Well," I said, risking a glance around the corner, "My father got captured, Addison got sick, we forgot to take our order and now I'm a wanted criminal. What else could possibly go wrong?!"
I didn't know why I was talking like that, but I couldn't stop.
"This is stupid. We are all going to get killed, and it will be all my fault! Look! That's the person who got all her friends killed!"
I laughed cynically as Brandon opened his mouth and tried to say other wise.
"No, Brandon," I started, shaking my head as he tried to protest. "You know as well as I do that we are in a pretty bad situation right now."
Sighing, I sat down on a rock in the near-by bushes and put my head in my hands.
"Tell me, Brandon, what am I supposed to do now? I can't show my face in public anymore without the risk of being recognised, and the 'three others' are probably you guys..."
My head jerked up when something dawned on me.
"Your parents! They're going to find out that you're not in school!" I stood up and tried to run back to the car when Brandon stopped me with a hand on my shoulder.
"Chill, Levi," he said reassuringly, "It's the weekend right now, the school won't have checked their email yet so we are safe for a while. We can stop over at a library and you can delete the emails then."
I took a deep breath and felt my heart rate slow.
He's right, it was Friday yesterday- why didn't I realise? And since when was Brandon this logical?
Shrugging off that thought for now, I pulled my hood over my head. Peaking around the corner, I noted that the amount of people who were searching for me were significantly less. Sighing in relief, I tucked my hands into my pant pockets and tried to look as guy-ish as I could.
Ignoring Brandon's weird look, I quickly hopped back into the car and slid the door shut. Immediately, Brandon started the car and screeched out of the parking lot.
Startled by the sudden intrusion, Aiden looked up from his phone and at our empty hands.
"What took you so long? And where's the food?"
Brandon glanced at me through the rear-view and indicated for me to explain. Signing, I explained the new development to Aiden, knowing that he wasn't going to like it.
~*~
Aiden's face remained blank throughout the whole time that I was trying to explain to him that I was now a criminal. When I finished, he stayed silent for a few more moments before sighing.
"I told you something was going on with your father. So, now they're targeting you too, it seems."
He turned around to look at me and raised an eyebrow.
"So? What are you going to do? You got us into this mess, so you should be the one to get us out."
I stared at Aiden blankly. Never before had he spoken to me in that manner, or to anyone at all like that. He had always been the 'perfect boy' or the 'teacher's pet', silent, and listened to others but it seemed like everyone had a hidden side.
Yeah, like the fact that you're secretly a villain. Except the difference is that when you reveal that side, no one will treat you the same anymore.
Clenching my fists, I sat back in my seat. But Aiden was right. This was my problem. I would have to fix it.
First, I would have to hack into the school email and delete the emails I had sent yesterday, and then I would need to do something about the fact that I was now on the wanted list.
But who broadcast that poster?
I thought back to what Aiden had said.
"So now they're targeting you too, it seems..."
My eyes widened.
It was STARKON! It had to be! They were the only ones who knew my father was missing because they took him!
My eyes narrowed with new-found determination as I devised a plan.
I needed to hack back into the STARKON server, the right one this time, and delete my file. Then, maybe I could figure out how to stop the poster from being broadcast again. While on the server, I would also retrieve a correct blueprint of the facility and then somehow, break in as well...
"... We need disguises..." I mumbled absentmindedly, playing with a string on my jumper.
I looked up and blinked. I hadn't even realised that I spoke.
"If its disguises that you need..." came a drowsy voice, "then there are some in the boot..."
My eyes widened as I looked over at Addison.
"Addison! You're awake! I'm sorry, did I wake you! Are you feeling alright? Do you need water?"
She laughed weakly as she batted my hands away.
"I'm fine, Levi," she glanced out the window, "Anyway, anyone care to fill me in on what happened?"
Aiden glanced at his twin worriedly.
"Should you be sitting up? You need to rest!" He tried to turn around in his seat but jerked backwards as the car stopped.
"I'm fine, guys. I don't know what happened, but I'm fine now." She pushed off her blanket and swung her legs off the seat and sat up as if to prove it. "But, I heard you talking about disguises? What happened?"
Her eyes sparkled and she looked more alive than she had in the last day. Smiling slightly, I remembered how since Addison was little, she loved playing spies. I shouldn't have been surprised that she went out and bought disguises.
"Okay..." I took a deep breath. "I don't want to startle you, Addison, but... long story short, I'm now a wanted criminal..."
I trailed off and studied her expression.
She frowned, and an uneasy feeling settled in my heart.
Suddenly, she jerked forward and slapped her hands onto my shoulders.
"If you're a criminal, then you need a wig! And make-up! Lots of make-up! Ooooh! We could make you one of those 'goth' chicks! And give you a matching outfit! Piercings! Tatt-"
I placed a hand over her mouth.
"Whoa, whoa, slow down Addison! Okay, I'll leave it to you..." I glanced at her excited expression. "But don't go too overboard..."
"Yeah, yeah, " she dismissed, already mumbling to herself about what she was going to 'dress me up in'.
Hopefully, I don't look too horrendous.
Hiding a grin, I looked out the window, my hair falling over my face.
If I had a disguise, I could walk in public, and if I could walk in public, then I could go to a library to use a computer...
"Hey, Brandon, can we stop at the closest Library? I want to delete the emails as soon as possible..." I hesitated a little, but then shook my head. Now wasn't the time. "And I want to try hack into STARKON's server to delete my file and the wanted poster."
There was a pause.
"You think STARKON is behind the poster...?"
I frowned.
"... Well, who else would it be?"
He shrugged.
"Aiden, can you set the GPS to the nearest library?" He gestured at the black screen on the gold rimmed dashboard.
Aiden stared at it for a few seconds.
"Just how much did this car cost?"

I haven't updated in almost a month! Wow... Yeah I was going to update on Friday, but our school took our laptops so I wrestled with my phone to write this... Sigh
So, image is Levi in the 'wanted' poster, when she was 14 (the image was a school photo from when she was in year 8). It's not a very good drawing... (I can't draw...) but it gives you a small idea on what she looks like... Maybe I'll try one on what she looks like now... Key word: try
:S
As usual, tell me if I've made any mistakes or if you liked it! ;)

Edit: For some reason, the drawing was removed, so u decided to redraw it and post it in the next chapter.
