DECEMBER 27TH 2023

Cillian came back from dropping his son's off at football training, he looked over to Dollie and smiled.

"Hi Love," He said, going over to the pair and ruffling Bonnie's hair. "Bobby told Eli about Bonnie." She said with a sigh.

Cillian sat down next to Dollie on the sofa, frowning slightly "And how's Eli taken it?"

"I don't know, Bobby just rang me this morning and apologised and said he hadn't seen Eli since he told him." She explained.

Cillian put his hand on her knee, trying to give her some comfort, it was a lot to take in that Elijah now knew about Bonnie.

"I'm just worried he'll turn up at the show." She said truthfully.

"At your show?" He hummed "I really doubt it, if it'll make you feel more comfortable, I can come along and keep an eye out for him"

"He won't go alone he's not daft, they're hardly going to kick Bono out if he pulls up are they?" She said, knowing Eli's dad and his fame could get them access to the show without having paid.

Cillian chuckled and shook his head "Yeah, you're right. They won't kick him out. If he arrives, just don't look at him, focus on the show and if he interrupts or something, I'll deal with it"

"Daddy, you're sweet but you're not a very intimidating man, maybe Uncle Liam and Noel can put their differences aside and just hide him from my view for the night if he turns up." She suggested

Cillian couldn't help but laugh, he knew that Dollie was right, he wasn't at all intimidating.
"If he does show up, I'll ask Liam to help"

"Try and get Noel involved too, it's what Mammy would've wanted." She pleaded

Cillian nodded "I'll drag Noel into it as well for you" He promised.

"So I've heard" He hummed. He'd had a few chats with Noel since his split from Sara and he'd never seen the man in so much pain before

"Can you watch Bonnie while i go get fitted for a dress at Katie's?" She asked him. Bonnie nodded as she coloured in something in her book. "See you in an hour." She replied before hurrying out.

He waved her goodbye, before looking down at Bonnie "What are you colouring?" Bonnie pointed at an image of a cow and gave Cillian a toothy smile as she then switched the page to start colouring something else.

Cillian sat, watching her colour in the page as he hummed a little tune under his breath "Bon, why aren't you speaking lovely?" She was usually quite talkative

Bonnie stopped colouring for a moment and looked up at him, like she was contemplating answering him, and decided against it, before she went back to concentrating on the picture she was Colouring, Cillian frowned a little when Bonnie didn't answer him, it was strange for a four year old to not be speaking at all, especially a four year old from a family as talkative as his.

"Bon, can you say something for me, darling?" Bonnie stopped again and looked at him again, she opened her mouth like she was going to speak, but only a quiet mumble came out, she then went quiet again, going back to colouring

Cillian's frown deepened, he found it odd that Bonnie wasn't talking. He sat for a while longer, deciding to watch her carefully, see if she would say anything at all, Bonnie continued colouring for about thirty minutes, before she yawned, putting down her crayon and holding her arms up for Cillian to pick her up "Bamp, who's my Dad?" Bonnie asked her grandfather. She had seen pictures of her mother with her dad before, but she didn't know him

Cillian picked Bonnie up and put her into his lap, gently stroking her hair. "Do you know who your daddy is?" Bonnie was sitting quietly, letting herself be caressed on his lap, and it seemed like she wasn't going to respond again, but she nodded shyly, looking up at Cillian.

"You do?" Cillian raised an eyebrow, looking surprised "What's his name, bon?" Bonnie looked panicked for a moment like she was scared of answering. But took a deep breath and mumbled something quietly. "Uncle Bobby's friend." She said, not knowing Eli's name, Bonnie spent most of her time at her mothers side, earwigging on Dollie's conversations, Cillian chuckled a bit, smiling at Bonnie, he thought she was cute for referring to Elijah as "Uncle Bobby's friend".

He continued stroking her hair "Who's Uncle Bobby's friend, baby?" He asked her gently, Bonnie looked up at him again, trying to remember the question. She then smiled, it was obviously on the tip of her tongue, as she thought carefully about it again, She let out a little yawn, getting tired of all the questions "Not sure,"

"That's okay, darling, it doesn't matter," Cillian spoke softly, knowing full well that Bonnie was getting tired "Just rest your eyes for a bit, Bon" He said, grabbing a blanket from the wicket basket beside him and putting it over Bonnie.

DECEMBER 31ST 2023.

Elijah Hewson was stood behind his friends, with his dad behind him and Grace Burns at his side. He couldn't stop staring at the posters of Dollie that were plastered around the wall of the event room.

"Hello My Loves." Dollie called out through the microphone to the crowd of five hundred or so people as Bono followed a friend of his up to a guarded off section said friend had reserved for him. "Thank you all so much for coming tonight. I want to tell you all how much i appreciate you, and the love for the album." She recounted, locking eyes with Anaïs who grinned at her proudly.

The intro to her song Girls Just Wanna began playing, and stepped back and forth in a circle while wearing a long white flowing dress before singing, as the opening beats to My Kink is Karma began, she locked eyes with Eli, who was currently swaying back and forth with Grace, she gritted her teeth, and began singing, more and more angered by the second.

She couldn't focus as she rolled through a few more dozen songs, her eyes were glued on Elijah, who rarely met her glance. Once the concert was done, and fans began to disperse, Bono, Grace, Eli, Bobby, Josh and Ryan made their way towards the green room.

Cillian and Noel both locked eyes with Liam, all three stepping in front of Bono as he tried to approach. "You three can go in." Liam said, pointing at Josh, Bobby and Ryan. "You can bugger off." Noel told Eli, who immediately went to open his mouth. "Elijah for gods sake don't." Anaïs called out, that had distracted Cillian who accidentally let Elijah slip through, Grace had been dragged along behind him.

Within five minutes, Dollie opened the door to see Bobby and Eli bickering. "She didn't invite you here, she doesn't want to see you now fuck off."

"What the actual fuck." She mumbled, before turning. As she locked eyes with Elijah, she froze. "We're sorry, he barged in behind us Doll." Josh immediately apologised. "Where's the kid then?" Eli drunkenly slurred.

"With Yvonne, and I'm glad of it, I'd not want her to meet you when you're drunk and coked up to high heavens."

"He did one line." Grace said in defence of her boyfriend, pointing a waving finger to Dollie. "You did the rest of the bag then I assume." She said looking at Grace's intoxicated state.

"Fucking bitch." Grace tried lunging at Dollie, but she was quickly stopped by Ryan, who took the blow to the side of the face.

"You've some fucking nerve bringing her here." Dollie told Eli as Liam told a security member to drag her away.

"Dol? What's going on?" Harrison Smith, whom Eli only knew as 'The Dare' was stood behind Eli, and had locked eyes with him.

"It's nothing." Dollie said.

"Baby be honest." Harrison had said, which had quickly landed him with a punch on the face from Eli, before he could even retort with a comment or a word, Eli had knocked him down onto the ground.

Harrison tried pushing Eli off as he repeatedly hit him across the face. "Don't you fucking dare call her baby, she's my fucking, She's mine." Each mumbled word was separated by a hit to Harrison.

"Elijah, fuck up and get off him." Bono's loud voice could be heard, Eli did as he was told, getting up off him, and quickly pushing his way past everyone else and following after his dad.

"What a dick." Harrison said, his nose bloodied as he got up. Dollie just sighed. "Go please, all of you." She told Bobby, Josh, Harrison, Ryan, Noel, Liam and Cillian before she slammed her dressing room door shut, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

She sucked in a harsh breath before she burst out sobbing.
