Chapter 21

The moment Ethan's lips touched mine I felt something in the pit of my stomach clench as the burning hot desire I have for him was ignited. At first I stood motionless as his lips moved against mine.

Ethan is kissing me! The very thought sent tingled all over my body. As the thought sunk in my lips began moving with his in perfect unison. His lips curled into a smile against mine as he backed me up against the lockers.

My arms wrapped around his neck deepening the kiss. Ethan moaned and grabbed me by the waist pulling my body against his. Pressed together wasn't enough though I wanted more of him.

My hands wove into his soft chocolatey hair as my lips moved more urgently. Ethan's hands ran up and down my waist as he sucked my bottom lip asking for entrance. My lips parted allowing him to slip his tongue into my mouth.

His tongue explored every inch of my mouth leaving a sweet tangy taste that made my mouth water for more. I gripped his hair tighter as his tongue massaged mine in slow sensual circles. I moaned as my knees buckled under me.

If I wasn't sandwiched between the lockers and Ethan I'd be a puddle at his feet. He pulled away allowing me to catch my breath as he peppered kisses along my neck.

"Ethan." I moaned as he ran his tongue over my sweet spot

He shuddered, my mouth tipped up into a smile at his response. I pulled his head up and pressed my lips to his. His hands tightened around my waist as he slipped his tongue back in my mouth. I bit his lip gently, he groaned into my mouth which sent a new wave of pleasure through out my body.

I felt Ethan's bulge poke me through his jeans. Hmmm he likes that.

"Shit..." he mumbled and pulled away

Still a bit dazed by the overwhelming kiss we just had I stared at him confused. Ethan pushed his hair back with his fingers than pulled my coat down. I didn't realize it had gone up in the first place.

"Act normal." he whispered

What is he talking about? It was than I heard my name being called. The back door swung open.

"There you are." Rachel said as she made her way over to me

"Terry said you left and why your cheeks pink?"

My mind went blank still trying to recover from Ethan. Rachel narrowed her eyes at me waiting for a response.

"The cold?" I blurted stupidly

Rachel furrowed her brows and looked me over obviously sensing something was off. I smiled trying to get rid of any doubts in her head.

"Okay I was just checking where you disappeared to." she said her country accent surfacing

Her bright blue eyes looked me over one more time. I felt my smile shake as I fought to keep it up. From the corner of my eye I could see Ethan biting his lip to keep from laughing.

"Are you sure your okay?" she asked her eyes drifting to Ethan

"Yeah, fine."

One side of Ethan's mouth lifted into a croaked smirk at my breathless reply because of him! Rachel turned her mouth to the side before nodding. She turned to leave and when she was out the door I let out a breath of relief.

I hit my forehead muttering stupid over and over again. Ethan chuckled from beside me. I punched him the arm stopping his laughter.

He draped his arm over my shoulder. I stiffened as I thought of the kiss. Ethan must of been thinking of the same thing, he raked his long fingers through his hair.

"What does this mean?" I asked looking up at him

His face drained of all it's playfulness from before. I bit my lip silently hoping he doesn't regret kissing me, I sure didn't.

Ethan rubbed the back of his neck looking vulnerable and unsure of himself which is new for him. Hope bubbled inside as I tried holding back a smile.

"I don't know how you feel about this but umm.." he brought his gleaming emerald eyes up to mine

He paused a look of fear in his eyes. Seeing Ethan like this made my heart thump against my chest. I licked my sudden dry lips. His eyes traveled down to my mouth as a look of lust flashed in his eyes.

"I want to give us a try, if you want to." he said never taking his eyes off my mouth

Damn the way he was staring at me awakened something in me I haven't felt in a long time. Wait did he say what I think he did?!

"You like me? As in like like?" I blurted

Ethan snapped his eyes up to mine a glint of mischief in them. He stepped forward and grabbed my shoulders pulling me against the length of his body.

I gasped taken by surprise by how good it felt to have our bodies touching suddenly. He smiled his toothy smile his mesmerizing gem like eyes boring into mine.

"For a while actually. You haven't given me an answer."

I nodded eagerly, I must seem like some desperate teen. Composing myself I keep a straight face and nodded casually like it didn't matter. Ethan laughed his throaty laugh.

He bent his head to mine and brushed his lips against mine. I could get use to this. The clacking of heels on the tiled floor startled us and we pulled away.

"We'll talk later." he whispered and pecked my lips

He walked away with a big goofy grin that probably matched mine. I lifted my fingers to my tingling lips. I kissed Ethan Andrew!! Again.

When he reached the corner he turned around flashing me a warm smile. Like the idiot I am I waved feeling embarrassed at being caught touching my lips. Ethan chuckled and waved back before disappearing.

With a sigh I sank down to the ground. The scene replayed in my head again. My eyes closed dreamily, I kissed Ethan!

"Excuse me what are you doing?" a teacher asked

My eyes snapped open as I jumped to my feet. I ran down the hall with the sound of the teacher's voice screaming for me to stop running.

All day I was on cloud nine smiling like an idiot. Rachel even asked if I had 'taken' something. The whole Ethan thing seemed surreal like I dreamt the whole thing.

We saw each other a few times during the day. Ethan would talk with this mask if I hadn't been there I would never have guessed anything happened at all. I on the other hand spent the rest of the day pink as Nicki Minaj's lipstick.

After school I was heading home when a familiar red truck came up beside me. Jake leaned over and opened the passenger door.

"Need a lift?" he asked

I'm sure dad would be pissed if Jake came into work late but than again it is cold. Jake patted the seat a warm smile on his face.

How can I say no? I hopped in as he drove forward. Wait Jake is going to work at the garage. An idea popped into my head.

"Hey Jake do you mind if I come to work with you again?"

Jake's brows furrowed as he slowed down near the street leading to our street.

"Umm sure Aidan has been asking about you."

I smiled as he made a right turn towards the garage. We drove in silence with Jake's occasional side glance. I pretended not to notice to keep my happy mood up.

When the garage came to view I felt my stomach clench at the thought of Ethan. I jumped out of the car earning a weird glance from Jake. Relax, your acting so desperate?

"I'm going to punch in."

I nodded and tried to keep a normal pace as I walked through the front doors. Jack had his head down scribbling something.

He seems to always be scribbling. Tip toeing to the front desk I took a deep breath ready to shout when a pair of small arms wrapped around my waist pulling me down.

A scream escaped my lips as I fell face first onto the ground. A child's laughter rang by my ear. The little brat beat me to it!

"Lily are you okay?" Jack asked

Aidan's laughter stopped as he stood up. Jack helped me up his face full of concern.

"I'm fine, just mad Aidan is quicker than me."

Jack shook his head a small smile playing on his lips. Yeah no doubt I sound like a child. Aidan grabbed my hand leading me to the side area where customers waited.

"Look what dad gave me." he said excitedly

Aidan pushed me down on the steel chairs and pulled out a blue mini tool box with Aidan's name on it. Aidan was grinning from ear to ear as he opened it.

"I want to fix things like my dad." he said holding out a wrench

I looked up to Jack who was smiling sheepishly his cheeks crimson red. He is a sweet father.

Bending down to grab a screw diver I smiled at Aidan. "How about we find something to fix?"

He nodded his small blue eyes glinting with happiness. Aidan grabbed his toolbox and my hand leading me through the plastic curtains.

Like last time Aidan led me through the rooms not caring about the dangerous tools around us. We stopped at the second room where some men were working on a jaguar.

We stopped in front of a vending machine. I turned to Aidan raising my eyebrow. Seriously? I expected to have an actual car to work on not a vending machine.

Aidan bent down opening his tool box. "I put a dollar in before to get a kit kat and it robbed me."

This boy is too cute. Pulling off my coat I bent next to him and rolled my sleeves up. Aidan handed me a screwdriver motioning to where you insert money.

If this wasn't my dad's garage I'd be in trouble. Doing as I was told I unscrewed the input slot to see a crumpled up dollar. Plucking the squished dollar out I waved it in Aidan's face.

"While we're here we should help ourselves to some candy." he said snatching the dollar from me

The slick twerp used me!

"Sorry I don't have the key." I shrugged

I put the screwdriver back and closed the toolbox.Aidan pouted his bottom lip at me.

Reaching into my back pocket I took out a dollar and put it in. I pressed for a kit kat but nothing happened.

"It robbed you too." he laughed

I pressed the button again with more force. Some of the workers were looking our way laughing as I shook it violently. What gentlemen.

Having enough I put my hand through the slot where your food comes out. My butt was poking out because of my angle. Aidan giggled from beside me.

"What's so funny?" I asked pushing my hand deeper

The tips of my fingers brushed against a wrapper, victory! With my forefinger and middle finger I tugged the candy down when I felt a hard body against my butt.

I yelped dropping the candy. Aidan clutched his stomach laughing. A strong arm pulled me up right.

"I don't think you should be in that position when around so many men."

My face heated up in embarrassment. I forgot about the workers. Turning around I saw all eyes on me.

"All right shows over back to work." Ethan ordered sternly

They all obeyed. I never knew Ethan had that much power over the other workers. He looked down at me his eyes gleaming happily.

"What were you doing?" he asked not sounding angry

My mouth opened as I stuttered nothing coherent. Nice Lily, real nice.

"Hey Andy can you get me a kit kat." Aidan asked

Ethan reached into his front pocket and pulled out a thick gray key. He opened the vending machine and grabbed two kit kats.

"That's how you do it." Aidan said as he walked over to a small wooden table at the corner

I narrowed my eyes and gave that little critter a dark look. After I tried helping him.

"I wouldn't forget the pretty lady." Ethan said handing me a twix my favorite

The blush returned to my cheeks as I muttered a thank you. Ripping the wrapper open I nibbled on the chocolate very aware of Ethan watching me.

"Mind if I get a bite?" he asked

I nodded taking out the untouched bar to him when he took a bite of the one I was nibbling on. Ethan licked his lips never taking his eyes off me.

My heart beat quickened to an abnormal rate. He licked the corner of his mouth smirking as I watched wide eyed. Hmmm that was hot.

"Chocolate tastes so much better off you." he whispered licking his lips one more time

My mouth went dry. Ethan smirked and walked over to the other workers leaving me standing there with this new found need for him.
