Chapter 1

"I'm going for a walk." Jungkook says, his tone emotionless.

"No you're not." His mother replies, as he walks down the stairs. She doesn't glance up from whatever she's reading, too immersed in the words on the page to care.

Jungkook doesn't care about her protection anymore though, and walks out the front door with no destination in mind.

He walks for awhile in the night, his mind clouded with self depreciating thoughts and the question of "Would she notice if I didn't come home?". His thoughts are interrupted though, when he hears several voices from nearby.

He turns the corner and sees them; six men dressed in ripped jeans and leather jackets, a cigarette hanging from each of their lips.

"Hey kid!" One of them yells out. It's not a scary tone though, it's almost friendly. A short laugh follows the words, and Jungkook finds himself wondering if he should go over there or not.

He decides to do it, not really caring if they end up to be bad people, because he'll most likely remember this moment for the rest of his life anyway.

"Yeah?" Jungkook asks, once he's standing in front of them, his hands in his jean pockets.

"You looked kinda sad over there, you ok?" The man from earlier asks. He's short with multiple piercings and a deep voice that makes Jungkook shiver; although he's not sure if it's from excitement or fear.

"I guess. Aside from the fact that my mom will kill me once I go back home." He doesn't know why he told the man this much. Maybe it's the feeling that he's actually listening to what he has to say.

"Why would she do that? You not supposed to be out or something?" The same man asks.

"No, I'm not allowed to go anywhere without her or a friend. And that's just during the day, I'm not allowed out at night no matter what."

"That's a shame. It's really nice out. You know you could ignore her and hang with us for the night if you want. We wouldn't mind."

Jungkook thinks for a moment, contemplating on whether or not he should take the offer.

In the end he does, suddenly wanting to know what it's like to be bad.
