EP.99|Our Last Day On The Misty Archipelago

"Ben..." Mal spoke softly, she tried to reach of Ben hand but he moved away. "I'm fine." Ben sniffled, wiping the tears he had on his face.

"We need to focus on finding that grail. As soon as we do, we're only one step closer to beating Lucifer." Ben stood up from his chair, his hands on the table.

"Kianna, do you have any info where the grail might be?" Carlos inquired.

"Last time I heard, it was on an island called Zuo," Kianna said, bringing out a hand-sized ladybug.

"Zuo island," Kianna said as the ladybug opened up reveal the island.

"Zuo island, wait, isn't that a tourist spot? Why would the grail be there?" CJ asked.

"People would pay good money to see an ancient artifact," Evie said. "Yeah, but wouldn't people get suspicious of everyone trying to take it?" Freddie questioned.

"Unless, they're too scared to ask anything, in fear of getting punished. Like this island did." Hunter guessed.

"It would make sense, the island is swarming with Lucifer subordinates. It's like a hotspot for all Lucifer worshipers." Jasper said.

"There's a bar there called MacLaren's Pub. My friend Cindy works there, she might know something about the grail and Lucifer." Kianna said as Freddie's eyes lit up.

"Alright, everyone rests up, we leave in the morning," Ben announced, walking out of Kianna's hut.

Evie and Jasper sat at the lake with Raja. "Do you to leave?" Raja muttered. "Yes, we're sorry honey." Evie hugged Raja.

"But...you said you wouldn't leave." Raja cried.

"I know and we won't. We'll be back as soon as this is over, you can explore the world with us." Jasper ruffled Raja's hair.

"Pr-Promise?" Raja sniffled. "Yes, kiddo." Jasper hugged Raja tightly. "Wh-Wha-What if Lucifer comes back?" Raja asked.

"He won't." Evie assured her "Wh-what if you don't come back? What if something happens when you two are on the mission." Raja rambled.

"Raja, nothing will happen. We'll be back for you right after the mission is done." Jasper promised her.

"You better." Raja punched Jasper playfully.

Freddie was on the balcony of Kianna's hut, look up at the beautiful starry night.

"You know, this is gonna be your last moment of peace for a while." Shadow Freddie informed her, appearing out of nowhere, spooking Freddie a bit.

"Jeez Shadow Freddie! What did I tell you about scaring me like that!" Freddie scolded. "That it's okay to scare you." Shadow Freddie winked.

Freddie glared at her shadow counterpart "what do you want anyways?" Freddie asked. "The soul counts getting worse." Shadow Freddie shook her head.

"Don't remind me. All week I've been falling day!" Freddie said, falling to her knees. "See what I men." Freddie growled.

"I know I'm hot Freddie but damn I didn't think I was so hot I made you fall." Zeref smirked smugly.

"Shut up." Freddie chuckled, kissing him. For what started as a small kiss turned into a massive makeout.

"Zeref...oh gods!...we need to sleep." Freddie gasped as Zeref kissed the crook of her neck. "But you taste so good." Zeref muttered, leaving a trail of kisses down her neck and down her arm.

"I've been craving for that tropical taste since the wedding." Zeref looked up at Freddie's who face was red and hot.

"Looks like you enjoy it too," he whispered, his hand rubbing up against her thigh. "Z-Zeref..." Freddie threw her head back in pleasure.

"Freddie~" Zeref cooed, nibbling on her earlobe making Freddie cry out in pleasure.

Zeref then got a great idea. Zeref kissed Freddie passionately one more time, sending sparks thru Freddie body.

Zeref pulled away, their faces close still "well, we should go to bed." Zeref got up and picked up Freddie.

Damn this boy! Freddie growled, still feeling the effects of the kiss.

"Ahh, finally, some relaxation" CJ climbed into the hot springs with Operetta, sighing in delight.

"I know what you mean. This might be the last time we have some relaxation for a while." Operetta agreed.

"So, being with an animalistic" Operetta looked at CJ "same or different than being with a non-animalistic?"

"It's totally different" CJ replied "being with Carlos is so much different than being with anyone else! It's more exciting, invigorating even!"

"You really love him don't you?" Operetta chuckled.

"I really do. I don't know, being with Carlos makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside" CJ smiled softly "and his kisses! My gods! It's so addicting!"

"So, if you love him so much, how come you haven't let him mark you yet?" Operetta raised her eyebrow.

"O-Oh, um...well...the thing is..." CJ stammered. "Wait, have you two even done it yet?" Operetta asked.

CJ nodded "we have, but..." CJ moved her hair to reveal a bite mark. "So he has marked you?" Operetta questioned.

"No, this isn't his mark."

Carlos laid on the floor in Kianna's hut, looking up at the ceiling groaning. "What's wrong?" Jasper asked, standing above him.

"I'm a failure!" Carlos muttered his hands in his face. "How?" Zeref asked. "I can't mark CJ!" He rolled over to his side.

"Seriously? Dude, it's pretty easy actually. You just bite her neck." Ben stated the obvious.

"It's not that I don't know how cause I do, it's because somebody already marked her!"

"Wait, who?" Hunter questioned. "I don't know, every time I try marking her the stupid bite mark shocks me!" Carlos sat up.

"And now, since I haven't marked CJ. My hormones are going insane! My head hurts, my powers are going berserk, and every time I see CJ I just want just mark her." Carlos raked his hair back.

"Awe, little animalistic having girl troubles?" Ramona cooed. "Shut it, Ramona," Carlos growled in annoyance.

"Hey, it ain't my fault your weird boy hormones are out of whack" Ramona crouched down beside him.

"Ever think it wasn't because of CJ's mark it's because of you?" Ramona smirked, raising her eyebrow.

"Me?" "Ramona, drop it," Ben said as Ramona rolled her eyes. "Yes, you" Ramona started "if your powers were strong enough you would have rewritten over CJ's old mark."

"Ramona, stop," Ben said. "But it's true if Carlos was strong enough, she could've written over the old one. But I guess he isn't" Ramona shrugged "so sad."

"Ramona! I said stop!" Ben repeated. "To think, a weak little boy is with CJ's strong independent self" Ramona poured herself a drink

"you're nowhere near CJ's level. No wonder someone already marked her, you were too weak to stop them."

Ramona got closer to Carlos's face "you'll always be a weak little animalistic who doesn't deserve CJ."

Carlos couldn't take it anymore, he transformed into a wolf and tackled Ramona. "Don't you ever underestimate my power. I will find the person who got to her first and beat his/her ass to the ground, proving I am strong enough for CJ's love!"

Carlos got close to Ramona's face "and if you as so much try some shit like this again, I will end you."

Ramona smirked as pushed Carlos off of him. "That's all I needed to hear." Ramona dusted off her clothing.

"What?" Carlos was confused. "You just proved you're strong enough, now, beat whoever the person and kick their butt," Ramona said, leaving the hut.

"Wait, if it's not Carlos's then who is it?" Evie asked, climbing into the hot springs as well.

"I can't remember, so, every time Carlos tries to mark me the stupid bite make won't let him," CJ growled.

"Well, have you tried finding out who the person is?" Freddie suggested. "I've tried but every time I try to remember, my mind goes blank."

"Let me see if I could fix it." Mal placed her palm on the bite mark causing her eyes to glow.

Mal saw CJ backed against the wall of an ally, a hand over her mouth to muffle her screams.

"MMHMPH!!" CJ yelled, Mal saw a man covered in completely black inching his face towards CJ's neck.

"Just chill, this is all part of the plan." then man whispered, Mal saw him muttering some words which she could make out 'le Fléau Angélique'

Mal eyes returned to normal as she tried to catch her breath. "It's not someone, it's something. That bite mark is a cure."

"A cure?" CJ asked. "Yeah, it's a curse that bounds anyone except the user to mark CJ. That's why Carlos can't mark her."

"So the only way to get it off is to kill the user."
