EP.87|Misty Archipelago
Courtly looked out her one window to see it was raining. “I hate this…” Courtly muttered, she hated needing to be saved.
“Dammit where are you Milton.” Courtly sighed, she looked down at her Jester necklace and smiled softly.
“Awe, dose the little Jester miss her Wolf?” Lucifer smirked. “Shut up, do you miss Swan?” Courtly asked slyly, soon being pinned to the wall.
“Don't you dare mention her name! You don't deserve to!” Lucifer yelled.
“Put me down!” Courtly kicked him in the stomach. “You need me.” Courtly coughed.
“You’re lucky I do. If I didn’t, you and little boyfriend would be dead.” Lucifer slammed the door in her face.
The VK’s finally arrived on the Misty Archipelago to see it was deserted, the entire town was in shambles and plants started growing all over the buildings.
“What the hell happened here?” Ben questioned.
“Looks like an earthquake hit them hard or something.” Carlos guessed, examining the plants.
CJ then noticed giant graveyard with bloody crosses. Oh my gods… CJ covered her mouth in shock.
Little did they know, someone high in the trees was watching them.
“Is that her?” A voice asked over a hologram, pointing to CJ. “No idiot! The girl with the blue hair.” A second voice scolded, pointing to Evie.
“She’s the one we’ve been waiting for. She’s the one who can save us.” the second voice added.
“But are we sure it’s her? I mean, they’re just like the ones who attacked us. That’s how we got into this situation.” the hologram asked.
“I’m not sure, but I’ll watch them for a while.” The second figure said. “Signing off.” the hologram said before disappearing.
“Who would do something like this?” Evie asked herself, entering one of the abandon building to see a trashed up home, like someone ransacked it.
Evie treaded lightly, not wanting to break the already broken home.
Evie looked down to see a small rag doll, covered in dirt and dust. She picked it up and smiled.
She remembered having a doll just like this, she got it on her 3rd birthday, her mother said it was her father’s gift to Evie.
Thru the years, Evie held that dall tight when she fell asleep, it made her feel safe and completely somehow.
It was the only thing she had to remember her father by at the time.
Evie always felt left out because she never had a dad, so when he finally came back. Evie was brought to tears.
Evie snapped out out her thoughts when she hears someone calling her name. “Evie? You okay?” Freddie asked. “Y-Yes.” Evie sniffled, putting the doll in her satchel bag.
Freddie knew Evie wasn’t okay, but no matter how much she asked her if she was she would always say yeah.
Freddie shook her head and sighed. “You’re not fine, Evie.” Freddie sighed, resting her hand on her shoulder.
“Yes, I am, Freddie.” Evie said. “I know you’re lying, but if you don't wanna talk to me now at least that tell me if you wanna talk.” Freddie said, hugging her tightly, Evie hugged her back and sat down on the scorched chair.
“These poor people, their homes ransacked, their lives lost, hopes shattered. It just heartbreaking to see this peaceful village all torn down like this.” Evie frowned, sadness filling her eyes.
“This doll.” Evie pulled out the rag doll “for all we know, somewhere a little girl, or boy, is crying because they don't have this doll.”
“For all we know, these people did nothing wrong and fate just decided to be a stuck up bitch and let them be attacked.”
“That’s the funny thing about fate, on one hand it’ll find you true love, but on the other it has beautiful, peaceful villages like this get attacked.”
“They never wanted this, they lived peacefully and happy. But, one day, they get attacked by some jerk! Their good people Freddie! They don't deserve this! None of them did!”
“But no, it’s fine, cause that’s the way it is. People like this get hurt, for no apparent reason!”
“Mean people just come in here and ransack the place! Not caring if these people had families, love, businesses.”
“I’ve seen a lot of shit in my days, Freddie. But this.” Evie gesture to the damage around her “this is where I draw the line. Innocent people getting hurt!”
“I never want this to happen to anyone else. But, every time I saw that. More people get hurt! I’m sick and tired of getting people hurt!”
“I don't wanna be the one who makes people get hurt! But I did! I hurt Jasper, I hurt you, I hurt everyone!”
“Evie...it’s just a doll…” Freddie muttered. “It’s not just a fucking doll! You just don't understand!” Evie started crying as she ran off.
“Evie, wait!” Freddie called out. “What happened?” Jasper asked.
“Evie had a whole rant about people getting hurt and such then ran off.” Freddie quickly explained, chasing after Evie. “Blueberry! Wait up!” Jasper yelled.
“Leave me alone Jasper!” Evie yelled, putting up a wall of crystals, Jasper could see the blurry figure of Evie continue running on the other side of the wall.
“Shit!” Jasper cursed, slamming his hand on the crystal wall.
Evie ran as far as she could, tears streaming down her face. She just wanted to disappear. “Evie!” Someone called out.
“Leave me alone, Jasper!” Evie yelled, her voice cracking. “Evieanna! You need to listen to me.” The voice said, running after Evie.
“I’m not listening to you! I never wanna listen to anyone ever again! Why should I?”
“If the world has bad things happen to a beautiful village like that, there’s just no more hope left in the world.” Evie sobbed.
“Evieanna!” The figure tackled Evie to the ground.
Evie looked up to see a girl with long, knee-length, wavy-at-the-bottom straight dark brown hair with a side-part with burgundy and white streaks.
She is very tall and has dark brown eyebrows and red lips, an identical color of red also on her nails, which double as claws.
She has a lightly tanned complexion, with steel gray-blue eyes and much more prominent wolfish ears.
She wore red plaid garments and black leggings, and complete the look with golden chains and studs.
“Evieanna! You have to stop crying and listen to me.” the girl demanded.
“Why should I?!” Evie kept sobbing. “I’m sorry for what I’m gonna do, Evieanna.” the girl sighed.
“Sorry for wha-” the girl then slapped Evie hard.
“OW!!” Evie rubbed her cheek. “Evieanna, please listen, I was part of that village. We need your help.” the girl requested.
“My help?” Evie asked, wiping her tears as the girl got off of her. “Yes, please, just follow me.” the girl grabbed ever hand, quickly running off.
“I’d at least like to know you name.” Evie said. “My name Ramona.” Ramona introduced.
“Ramona what?” Evie asked. “Ramona Wolf.” “We need you help.” Ramona continued. “Why? I’m just some VK.”
“Evieanna, you not just some VK. Have you ever heard of the Castea Clan?” Ramona asked.
“Yeah, they’re the lost clan of Crystal Release users.”
“Well” Ramona knocked on a tree stump 3 times causing the tree to turn into crystals to reveal a beautiful a village is built on the big and high trees of the forests.
The tress were decorated with beautiful crystals. The houses are build vertically, around the trees.
“Welcome to the Castea Clan.”
