EP.52|Cheating Is Never Okay, But In This Case, It Is

Operetta walked down a dark hallway, only light by a white opera mask with roses dripping bright green poison surrounding it. “Cool.” Operetta smiled as she reached a white door with black embroidery on it. Suddenly, a small hole appeared in shape of a butterfly. Operetta looked at her music box and took off the butterfly, placing it in the slot.

The door opened revealing a beautiful women with chocolate brown hair, warm crimson brown skin, she wore a beautiful white dress. “Who are you?” Operetta asked. “You probably don't remember me. You were really small.” She chuckled slightly. “That music box, it’s mine.” She smiled. “Wait, your Christine?” Operetta asked as Christine nodded, Operetta quickly hugged Christine.

“I haven’t seen you since you were a baby.” Christine said. “Why did you leave?” Operetta asked. “I had to, I didn’t want to leave, I loved you from the minute you were born. I didn’t want to let you go. But I had too, I hated not being there, I hated seeing you cry everyday and not being able to do a thing.” Christine sighed. “So wait, you're the voice I heard in the bathroom the first day of school! You kept telling me to remember.” Operetta gasped. “Yes, I was trying to reach you.” Christine replied.

“But, why? If you were here the entire time, why did you wait till now?” Operetta asked. “I wanted the time to be right.” Christine said. “You wanted the time to be right?” She asked. “Yeah.” Christine answered. “Operetta, I wanted you to be ready. Now you are.” Christine added. “Ready for what?” Operetta asked. “For the story behind that music box.” Christine replied as she opened the music box causing the song to play.

Christine hovered her hand over the small music note in the box causing it to project an image. “What’s this?” Operetta asked. “Just watch.” Christine said.

“It was a cool autumn night.” the video narrated.

“Miss Christine, 2 minutes till curtain.” The stage director said as Christine nodded. “You ready for your solo?” Her best friend, and makeup artist, Daisy asked. “Yeah, I mean I’ve been singing my entire life. This isn't any different.” Christine replied as she put lipstick on.

“Why are we here again?” Maleficent asked. “Cause, my friend got us tickets, it be rude for us not to go.” Farrah said. “Why did you have to drag us along though? This is more of Phantoms thing.” Facilier groaned. “I don't wanna be here either. I mean as much as I like opera this one seems kinda boring.” Phantom yawned as the curtains rose. “Ladies and gentleman, Christine Daae.” the announced said as everyone clapped. “Just listen.” Farrah smiled as they put the spotlight on Christine.

You said if you could fly,

You would fly far - far into the sky

So all you’d ever know

Is that blue – that blue - Sky up above

“She’s really good.” Jafar observed. “No kidding.” Phantom agreed. He was completely mesmerized by her, he couldn’t stop staring. It was like looking at a shooting star for the first time. “Yo, Phantom yo-” But before Hexiciah could finish Phantom covered his mouth. “Shh! She’s singing.” Phantom scolded as Hexiciah rolled his eyes.

You’ve yet to learn what the pain

From true sadness is like

You’ve only had but a taste,

But you’re a moth to the flame

Christine looked down to see Phantom staring at her, she smirked. She was used to this, boys always fallen in love in her. But there was only one boy for her, and she already got him. Another one huh, joy. Christine smirk grew

When all my feelings reach you,

They’ll no longer be mute

For on that day, they’ll live in spoken words.

She loved having boys gawk at her like she was a jewel or something, but she had the best man she could think of. And he was sitting right in the front row, or at least he was. Where’d he go? Christine looked to her right to see Daisy shaking her head. He didn’t show… again… Christine sighed.

From in a dream, when you awake

Into the world you no longer know

If you could only spread your wings and fly away.

Why wouldn’t he show, he said he would. Where is he then? He should be here by now? Cristine looked at the promise ring on her chain. He’s probably working. Christine nodded slightly.

You said if you could fly,

You would fly far - far to the sky

And you would set your aim

On the clouds – All around

That endless sky

Phantom could tell she looked hurt, like something was wrong, but what was it? She sings so beautifully, why would such an angelic voice ever have troubles?

The moment you break free

You’ll finally find – find all you seek

And it’s all waiting there …

In that blue – in that blue

Sky up above.

Why didn’t he show? Christine asked telepathically to Daisy. Something about work. Daisy answered. That's Raoul for ya...always busy. Christine chuckled slightly. I wish he was here though… Christine thought.

With a sound like the storm,

Turning bitter and dark,

That window shut in your heart

It shatters, falling apart.

“Look at him.” Maleficent chuckled, pointing to Phantom who looked like he was locked in a trance. “Ohh~ Phantoms got a crush.” Acadia cooed. “Do not, she just sings pretty.” Phantom smiled. “You have a crush!” Jafar pointed out as Phantom kept smiling at her.

And so at last you escape,

From your cold, broken cage

So break away,

Without ever looking back

Who’s that? Christine looked at Phantom and smiled, making Phantom blush a bit. Raoul isn't here. I might as well have fun. Christine smirked.

There is a chase, inside my chest

Where my heart beats, quick as my breath

And so I kick the window in and fly away.

Christine sat on the edge of the stage, and flicked up Phantoms chin. “Hey cutie.” Christine smirked, kissing his nose. “Mhmkoed…” Phantom stammered. “Aww, ain't that cute.” Christine chuckled as she got up and started singing again.

You said if you could fly,

You’d fly, and nothing would stop you

You’re tempted by that voice

That’s so far – so far from where you are.

“Oh...my...gods…!” Phantom smiled goofily. “You look so goofy.” Hook laughed. “He’s also blushing like a maniac.” Facilier added.

I’ll take your eager hand,

And take you far – far away with me!

So you can see my world

It’s that blue – that blue

Sky up above.

Aww, he’s so childish. Christine looked at Phantoms blushing face. How much can this little Phantom blush? Christine smirked as she kissed him softly making Phantom faint. Even better Christine chuckled softly.

Hey, it’s okay to fail

Yeah, it’s okay to fall…

What really counts,

What only counts

Is if you pull yourself back up.

Damn, I made him faint. Christine smirked. This is too fun… Christine thought.

You said if you could fly,

You would fly far - far to the sky

And you would set your aim

On the clouds – All around

That endless sky.

Still no Raoul huh? Christine asked as Daisy shook her head.

The moment you break free

You’ll finally find – find all you seek

And it’s all waiting there…

In that blue – in that blue

Sky up above

As the song ended Christine bowed as roses were threw onto the stage. “Thank you everyone!” Christine thanked as she walked backstage to her dressing room. “Singing is so much work!” Christine groaned, laying onto the gold couch surrounded by gifts. “You got more gifts I see.” Daisy chuckled, looking at the roses. “Yes, I just love them. Especially the one from Raoul.” Christine said, getting behind the dressing screen room dividers and changed from her beautiful white dress to a white and gold silk robe.

“Christine, your friends are here.” Daisy called out as Christine came out, putting her hair in a ponytail. “Farrah!” Christine smiled, hugging the Good Fairy. “Oh, there’s somebody I want you to meet.” Farrah smiled as she pushed Phantom forward. “H-H-Hi.” Phantom stammered. “Hello, your the Phantom I’ve heard so much about huh?” Christine chuckled.

“Y-Yes.” Phantom stuttered as Hexiciah nugged him. “No.” Phantom muttered. “Just give it to her.” Jafar said as Phantom took out a purple box with a golden ribbon on it. “Fo-For Yo-You.”  Phantom stuttered, handing Christine the box. “You shouldn’t have.” Christine smiled as she took off the ribbon and opened the box to reveal a beautiful golden rose. “Oh..my...gods!! This is beautiful!” Christine hugged Phantom.

“I’ve wanted one of these since a kid.” Christine said as she put thee rose in her hair. “How does it look?” She asked Phantom was at a loss for words. Stunning He smiled. “Wh-Whe-Where did you ge-get al-all these gif-gifts from?” Phantom asked. “Oh, just fans. As you can tell I’m in love with roses.” Christine answered smelling the roses.

Christine sat on the couch motioning Phantom to sit next to her. “Tell me about yourself.” She smiled. “U-um…” Phantom started. “Well, there isn't much to Phantom. He’s kinda a scaredy cat at times. I mean, he hasn’t been able to talk straight since he saw you.” Acadia laughed. “Well-” “Yeah, he’s was so stunned by you that when I asked him what was wrong he was all like “Duuuhh…” Like a zombie or something.” Facilier added.

“I don't know about that...I mean…” Phantom stammered as Christine chuckled. “It’s fine. I’m used to it.” Christine winked as she kissed his forehead. “Mhhiiriiid.” Phantom muttered making Christine laugh again.

“So, do you say I flatter you?” Christine smirked. “Wh-What?!” Phantom blushed. “I’m just playing.” Christine laughed, soon leaning into his ear. “I know I flatter you, you just terrible a hiding it.” Christine whispered making Phantom faint.

“He’s adorable.” Christine chuckled as she brushed his hair back a bit. “Aww, he’s asleep.” Cruella smile as Christine laid him on his lap. She looked at Phantom’s childish face.

“He looks so childish.” Christine giggled. “We’ll leave you two alone.” Acadia said as the group walked out of the dressing room.

Phantom stirred in his sleep, murringing words. Christine smiled as she began singing softly

Fly me to the moon

Let me play among the stars

Let me see what spring is like

On a-Jupiter and Mars.

Phantom could hear the words echoing thru his dream, that beautiful, wonderful, delightful words. Never in his life has he heard something more angelic and beautiful than her voice. He could sit here and listen to her sing for hours.

In other words: hold my hand

In other words: baby, kiss me.

That exactly what he wanted to do, kiss her, over and over again. But that didn’t seem likely, he was the Phantom of the Opera. His name terrorized villages everywhere.

But this girl, she wasn’t scared of him, she didn’t run. She wanted to get to know him, not the Phantom of the Opera everyone sees. But the true him.

Fill my heart with song

And let me sing for ever more

You are all I long for

All I worship and adore

This girl, she made his heart race quicker than before. Why her though? Why was Christine making him feel like this? Why would this girl be able to make him feel all these feelings that others couldn’t?

Was this

Love?

In other words: please, be true

In other words: I love you

Love. Why was that such a difficult word? People are always stressing over it. But is it really so difficult? What does it even mean to love somebody? Is there a definition for it? Was what Phantom feeling this so called “love”?

Fill my heart with song

Let me sing for ever more

You are all I long for

All I worship and adore

Adore. What does it mean to adore something or somebody? Is it more than love? Can you even adore a person?

In other words: please, be true

In other words: I love you.

Christine smiled looking down at him. “You sing beautifully.” Phantom muttered. “Thank you.” She whispered.

“Hey Phantom. Wanna walk me home?” Christine asked as Phantom shot up. “Sure.” He smiled as the two left the theater.

“So, is Phantom really your name?” Christine asked. “Erik.” Erik answered. “So why do the others call you Phantom then?” Christine questioned.

“Cause, it’s my nickname. Erik “Phantom” Opera.” Erik shortly explained. “So, what it’s like being a popstar?” Erik asked.

“I love it.” Christine said, looking at the ground. “Hey, you don't need to lie. It sucks doesn't it?” Erik asked as Christine nodded.

“I love singing, but I wanna go back to singing for little kids and for the less fortunate and helping them like before.” Christine sighed.

“Why don't you then?” Erik asked. “I’m a popstar. Why would I leave? My life is perfect.” Cristine sighed, obviously being sarcastic.

“Hey, tomorrow we're moving out clubhouse to New AppleWood, why don't you come with us?” Erik suggested. “No, I have to go on tour tomorrow.” Christine said.

“This is my spot.”  Christine smiled, opening the the door. “Wanna come in?” Christine smirked. “Um...look...I don't wanna intrude.” Erik sighed.

“Nah, you, could never intrude.” Christine said. Hey! What are you doing, you got Raoul! Her other half scolded. I don't care! Raoul is gone for the weekend! I wanna have fun. Christine smiled as she ran her fingers down his abs.

“Lets get inside.” Christine whispered.

~B~

“Oh...my gods…” Christine smiled widely. “How was that for a fling?” Erik chuckled. “Amazing.” Christine smiled, snuggling into Erik’s arms.

“Why don't you just spend the day in my arms?” Erik whispered. “I wish I could.” Christine muttered.

“Why can’t you?” Erik asked. “I have a boyfriend.” She sighed. “WHAT?!” Erik yelled. “Yeah…” Christine chuckled nervously.

“But, I don't know what I was doing last night. But damn, it was awesome! I mean, it was just awesome! Everything was awesome!” Christine smiled.

“You know, if your boyfriend leaves such a beautiful girl here alone. He wouldn’t mind if we have one more go at it?” Erik smirked. “Nope.” Christine smirked.

~B~

“3 times.” Christine laughed. “Amazing.” Erik smiled. “Christine?” A voice asked. “Shit! Get under the bed.” Christine said, pushing Erik under the bed. “Hey Christine. Wh-WHO THE HELL IS THAT?!” Raoul yelled.

“Erik.” Christine chuckled nervously. “Erik. I need you to leave.” Raoul growled as Erik faded into the shadows. “I’ll meet you later.” Christine winked.

“Where have you been the past day and a half?” Facilier asked. “Having the most amazing sex!” Erik smiled. “With Christiane?” Acadia asked. “Yep!” Erik answered.

Hours later, the rain started pouring, suddenly there was a knock at the door. “Please say yes to this.” Christine cried.

“Anything.” Erik said. “Do you love me?” Christine asked as Erik kissed her. “More than anything.”

~B~

Christine noticed that Operetta was asleep. “Just like your father.” Christine laughed, picking up the music box and placing it in the palm of her hand. It glowed slightly as Christine moved it towards Operetta. “Your gonna be a great Pillars Weapons Holder.” Christine smiled.
