EP.48|The Guilty One Is Me
"What are we doing in the library, Courtly?" CJ asked. "Cause, before we start any training I want you to do something for me." Courtly smiled as she pulled a red book down revealing 6 doors.
The first door was brown with beautiful embroidery of a sword with the Captain Hook hat hanging from it. The second door was white with blue embroidery of a poison apple dripping with green poison.
The third door was black with a multi-color door with an embroidery of a colorful tiki mask. The fourth door was grey with white embroidery a black and white opera mask. The fifth door was black with blue embroidery of a soul flame. The last door was red with a black embroidery of a black cobra with green eyes
"What are these?" CJ asked, touching the first door. "A test. Behind each door is a path, follow it to the end and see where it leads you. More will be explained after." Courtly smiled as the doors opened.
CJ walked thru the door, the entire path was lined with swords and hats. "Are these...mom's hats?" CJ asked herself, touching the hats slightly, reaching the end of the hallway there was a red door. She opened the red door to see a girl standing there.
"CJ?" She asked. "Yeah that's me," CJ replied. "You have grown up so much!" She cried, hugging CJ. "Um, do I know you?" CJ asked. "I'm Nikita Hook." Nikita smiled.
"Wait, Nikita...oh my gods...Mom!" CJ cried, hugging Nikita back. "How are you here?" CJ asked. "Well, I'm not actually here, it's a piece of my soul I left in the sword." Nikita smiled, the two sitting on the floor.
"I have so many questions for you. Like why'd you left? Where'd you go? Did you leave because of me? How did you put a part of your soul in the sword?" CJ rambled. "Okay, one at a time CJ." Nikita chuckled. "I left because of this." Nikita then pointed to the sword.
"What?" CJ asked. "The sword is one of the Ancient Pillar weapons. To keep the island alive and keep all the Villains on the Villain Isle alive I put my soul in the sword." Nikita answered.
"So, for 17 years, I've been using the Ancient Pillar Sword?!" CJ yelled. "Yes, but you have to know. I can't come back, ever. As much as I want to, I can't. But you can always talk to me." Nikita smiled.
"But, it's not the same." CJ frowned. "I know it isn't, but it's the only way we can talk now." Nikita smiled sadly. "If you really loved dad and me, why did you leave then?" CJ looked at the ground.
"I loved both you and your father, and trust me. I didn't want to leave. I hated myself. Please, tell me somewhere in your heart you care?" Nikita asked. "I do, it's just, I missed you so much!" CJ cried. "I missed you too." Nikita smiled, hugging her daughter.
"I forgot about you." CJ sobbed. "What?" Nikita questioned. "I remember you telling me not to forget you. And that's what I did." CJ sobbed harder. "Hey, no you didn't. I've always been with you. In that sword." Nikita smiled.
"You know the crew would freak if they saw you." CJ chuckled. "No kidding, hey, do you know the transport spell?" Nikita smirked as CJ brought out her wand. "Avada!" CJ chanted and before they knew it they were on the ship.
"Okay, follow me." CJ chuckled, the two walking into the dining hall of the ship. "3...2...1...lunch time," Nikita smirked as the crew filled in, Nikita quickly disguised herself as the cook, facing the stove.
"So what's for lunch today?" Hook asked as Nikita chuckled. "I don't know...Hook." Nikita smiled, turning around.
The entire crew stared at Nikita. "Hook? Captain?" Smee asked, waving his hand in his face. "N-N-N-Na-Na...room spinning...going down..." And just like that, Hook fainted.
~B~
"Hook..." Smee said, Hooks eyes fluttering open. "I had the weirdest dream, that Nikita was back. Weird right?" Hook chuckled as he patted his head to feel something was missing.
"Um, Captain, it wasn't a dream," Smee said as he moved out of the way to reveal Nikita sitting on the counter, with his hat on.
"N-Na-Nak-Nakita?!" Hook stammered, touching her face. "Yes, you idiot." Nikita chuckled, hugging him. "Oh, my gods...your back..." Hook muttered into Nikita's shoulder.
"Okay okay, let my parents be. Everybody out." CJ chuckled as the crew left. "I missed you." Nikita smiled, ruffling his hair.
"I can't believe your here." Hook cried. "I love you Hook," Nikita whispered making Hooks eyes widen. "I waited years to hear those words." Hook chuckled as he pinned Nikita to the bar.
"Hook, we're not teens anymore." Nikita laughed, hitting his chest playfully, only to realize he still had abs. "Oh...my...gods..." Nikita muttered. "Not teens huh?" Hook smirked against her neck.
"You know your crew is out there right?" Nikita reminded him. "And you know I'm their captain." Hook said. "In the mess hall? Like the first time?" Nikita raised her eyebrow. "For old times sake." Hook smirked.
"Your still an idiot, aren't you?" Nikita laughed. "Yeah, but this idiot got you. And you make me the idiot that fell in love with you." Hook smiled, kissing the blonde, running his fingers thru her hair.
"Years. Years I've waited for this." Hook whispered. "Years huh?" Nikita smirked. "Well, I'll try to be here. For years and years to come." Nikita smiled. "You better, I'm never letting this happen again." Hook stated.
"It won't. Trust me." Nikita whispered into the pirate's ear. "Now, you just gonna play with my hair or kiss me again?" Nikita the took his hat again "captain?" Nikita smirked.
"Naughty aren't we?" Hook smirked. "Yep. I haven't seen you in years. I need my fill." Nikita snickered, kissing him. Nikita wasn't lying, she did miss her husband and her daughter. Being gone from your family for years but a great strain on one's mind.
Every day she was gone she hated herself, she felt like the worst mother of the year for leaving her child. CJ was only 4. As a mom, she wanted to see her baby grow up into a young woman, but she didn't get to.
She had so much guilt piled up on her that when Hook kissed her it felt like the guilt was getting worse. Not only did she leave CJ, but she left Hook unannounced. She said she would always be there next to him. But she broke that promise.
What kind of person was she?
Nikita didn't know what to feel! She felt guilty for leaving her daughter and husband but she didn't have a choice. She had to leave. But the guilt was too much for her, the kiss, the love from her daughter after abandoning her for years. No, she didn't deserve this. She couldn't. She wouldn't.
"Hook," Nikita said, parting the kiss. "Yes?" Hook asked. "We really shouldn't be doing this...I shouldn't be doing this...you should be hating me! So should CJ." Nikita sighed. "What do you mean? I don't hate you. Neither does CJ." Hook assured her. "But what if she doses? I felt our daughter when she was four! Four, Hook!" Nikita felt tears filling her eyes.
"Shh...CJ doesn't hate you. I can promise you that." Hook hugged his wife. "But what about you?" Nikita muttered thru the tears. "Why in the gods' names would I hate you?" Hook asked, lifting Nikita's chin. "Cause I left you." She cried. "But it was for a good reason. So no, I'm not mad at you. I love you more than anything in this world." Hook smiled. Stop smiling at me... Nikita thought, she still felt guilty.
"Stop it." Hook said, hugging her again. "You have to stop blaming yourself. You left cause you had no choice if its anyone to blame it's the pillars for making the sword in the first place." Hook added. "But-" And before Nikita could say anything else Hook kissed her. "Better?" Hook asked as Nikita nodded as they kissed again.
Deep down, Nikita knew she couldn't be forgiven for what she did, she just hoped that one day she and CJ can finally have that mother-daughter relationship.
"Ugh, perverts." CJ gagged. "Hey Smee," CJ called out. "Yes?" He asked. "This jewel, have my mother keep it." CJ smiled, taking out the red jewel from her sword.
"This must be a vessel, so if I leave the jewel with here my mom she can stay with the crew," CJ said, passing Smee the jewel. "CJ, your father...he wouldn't..." Smee started. "Yes, he would." CJ chuckled as her mother and Hook came out of the mess hall.
"Hehe...anyways..." Nikita chuckled nervously, fixing her hair. "Mom, I want you to keep this." CJ then handed Nikita the jewel. "The jewel, but, it's a-" "A vessel. If you keep it, you can stay here with dad. You'll be free." CJ smiled as Nikita hugged her.
"Thank you." Nikita sobbed. "You the best daughter ever," Nikita added. "Wait here." Nikita then ran upstairs to the rooms and grabs a jewel that was half red and half white. "This jewel has Yin and Yang pixie dust in it. Half from a dark fairy. And half from a light fairy." Nikita shortly explained.
"Dark fairy dust is near to impossible to find. How did you find it?" CJ asked. "I had a little help from Darlene." Nikita smiled. "Use it wisely, okay?" CJ nodded. "I should get going. The others are probably worried sick about me." CJ chuckled as Nikita hugged her tightly.
"Are you gonna be okay?" Nikita asked. "Yeah, I'm tough." CJ smiled, hugging her back. "You take after your father." Nikita chuckled as CJ brought out her wand. "Avada." And just like that, CJ was back in the library.
"So how was it?" Courtly asked, drinking tea. "Good. Great actually." CJ smiled, looking down at her sword.
