EP.126|The Bookworm and the Dragon
CJ and Ben stood back to back, surrounded by the weird combinations of animals. “You just had to burst through the ceiling didn’t you CJ?” Ben growled.
“Hehe, sorry.” CJ chuckled nervously. “CJ, if we die, I promise you, I will haunt your grave!” Ben threatened. “How is that gonna work if we're both dead?” CJ smirked.
“You’re lucky Carlos is an animalistic” Ben and CJ began fighting the animals, not to the point of kill but just to knock them out, “because if he wasn’t, I wouldn't’ve left long ago.”
“Oh Ben,” CJ sweeped her legs under one of the giraffe’s legs making his fall “you know you love me.”
“As a friend, yes” Ben kicked one of the hippos in the face “a friend and nothing more.” Ben transformed into a bear, a powerful roar knock out most of the enemies.
“Is it me or are they multiplying?” CJ asked. “Oh they are.” Ben replied.
“I got an idea, Ben, turn into an eagle.” CJ said as Ben nodded and turned into an eagle and the two began soaring above the enemies.
“Now this is gonna sound crazy but I need you to not breathe for a couple of seconds.” CJ said as her and Ben held their breath.
She took the top off of the pixie dust and began pouring it down on the enemies.
CJ then looked in front of her to see and arrow coming straight towards her head, but before she could move out of the way, the arrow hit her neck.
The last thing she saw was a very familiar, yet very scary, face.
“You’re mine now, CJ.”
Giles and Milton were in a nearby town, it was night time and the streets were light with lanterns and pretty lights.
Giles walked aimlessly around looking for any type of food to eat. He was starving, so was Milton but he stayed behind in the hotel room.
But it wasn’t just food he was starving for, it was love. Ever since Milton reminded her of Demonia, Giles kept remembering the beautiful times he had with Deomina.
Years ago, Milton, Giles, Courtly, Lucifer, and Swan were in Lucifer’s castle garden having a picnic.
Both Lucifer and Swan and Courtly and Milton have been dating for a while now. Giles was the only single one in the group. He was fine with it, he had his books, that’s all he needed.
Giles groaned loudly, the book covering his face. “What’s wrong with you, Bookworm?” Milton asked, resting his head on Courtly’s shoulder while she sat on his lap.
“It’s this manga! Jellal knows he’s in love with Erza and the two were about to kiss but what does Jellal do?! Freaking says he has a “fiancee” knowing damn well he doesn't!” Giles ranted.
“Giles, you do know it’s just a book right?” Lucifer chuckled, laying down on Swan’s lap.
“Okay, 1) it’s not a book it’s a manga. And two) Jerza is one of my favorite ships. So shut the hell up Lucifer!” Giles yelled, the book still on his face.
“Touchy much.” Lucifer muttered. “You guys don't understand. Fairy Tail is amazing.” Giles stated.
“You know, you’re just like my new assistant,” Lucifer said as he sat up, “Demonia!” Lucifer called out as a girl about Giles’ age appeared.
Demonia is a traditional Eastern Green dragon with golden scales, long wavy green hair with black streaks, and traditional dragon jade green eyes.
Her hair is is pulled back into a simple but stylish side swept ponytail, while her bangs are slicked to the right and secured into her ponytail.
Her hair color is primarily a jade green with a second shade of a lighter green. There is also a mixture of black streaks running through it.
Her lipstick is maroon, while her eye shadow is two tone green and applied all around the eyes, in a fire design.
Demonia wears an elegant wrap-around top and metallic jeans. Her top has a traditional look to it, with a black sash wrapping around her neck and waist.
The sashes have gold dragon accents printed on them. The top is a faded aqua with soft touches of purple that form a flame-like pattern.
She wears red metallic pants with a long gold and black metallic scale hem.
She wears a pair of dangling red paper lantern earrings, and a jade green pearl bracelet on her left arm.
Her shoes are also jade green and are basic closed-toe high heel pumps. The heels of the shoes are green Foo Dogs, and the overall finish of the shoes is metallic.
She has a cherry red purse in the shape of a paper fan, it is decorated at the bottom with gold accents, and has a long black strap.
She also held many books in her hands and some wrapped around her tail.
“Is there anything you need sir?” Demonia asked sweetly. “Yeah, this is my friend Giles, he likes Fairy Tail just like you do.” Lucifer said as Demonia rushed to Giles side.
“Hi!” Demonia chirped, Giles smiled softly, “I’m Demonia.”
“I’m so happy someone likes Fairy Tail just like I do.” Demonia hugged Giles tightly.
Giles face grew hot, he could feel his face reddened. She’s kinda cute...for a dragon that is.
The rest of the day, Giles and Demonia kept talking about books and animes and pretty much whatever came to mind.
“So, it looks like our Giles got a mate.” Swan snickered. “Yeah, but knowing my brother, he’ll never admit it.” Milton chuckled.
“The Bookworm and the dragon. Sounds like something straight out of a book.” Courtly smiled.
Giles honestly forgot what they were talking about, but he knew he loved the way her eyes lit up when she talked out books. Milton would say Giles eyes would light up the same way.
“Oh, sir says you have a massive library in your castle. What is that like? Sir was gonna put in a train room,” Demonia glared at Lucifer “but he put in a training room instead.”
“What? Don't look at me, I didn’t want it to be some stuffy old library.” Lucifer muttered, Swan chuckled and kissed his lips.
“Get a room.” Giles groaned, throwing a book at them. “OI! That hurt!” Lucifer scolded.
Demonia giggled, Giles felt his heart skip a beat.
That was the day Giles met his dragon, his soulmate, his one true love, the dragon he longed for.
For that was the day, the bookworm fell for the dragon.
CJ woke up hours later, her vision still foggy, she could barely make out her surroundings.
She could hear the repeated dripping noise of water hitting the floor. With what little strength she had, she tried to move but soon realized her arms and legs were bounded to the wall.
Everything hurt, especially her neck. Wait! Her neck! CJ then remembered what Mal told her when they were back on Misty.
“How do I know when I found the person who marked me?” CJ asked. “One, it’s not a mark, it’s a curse. La malédiction des mal-aimés. Which translates to; the curse of the unloved.”
“Once your curse starts hurting, that’s how you know.” Mal answered.
“Why hello, CJ.” A voice from the dimly corners of the room smirked, she could see the faint outline of his wicked grin.
She opened her mouth to speak, but the words couldn't come out “speechless to see me?” he chuckled darkly.
The curse on her neck began to pulsate more, CJ hissed in pain, as the shadowy figure walked into the light.
“I’m sure you figured out who gave you that wonderful mark, don't you CJ?” The figure chuckled.
Once again, CJ tried to answer but yet again no word came out. “No? What a shame, well, I might as well tell you.”
The figure fully came into a light to reveal none other than Philip.
Horror, as well as fear, filled CJ’s clouded blue eyes. “Y...you…” CJ, finally being able to muster some words, rasped.
“Yeah, it’s me,” Philip leaned in further, licking over her mark.
CJ cried out in pain and agony “this is your little punishment for running off with that Dog boy.” Philip whispered, he sucked on CJ’s curse mark. “AGH!!!” CJ yelled louder.
“Don't worry CJ, a bad girl like you needs to be punished before our pleasure begins.”
Carlos could hear screaming it made his heart hurt. “UGH!” Carlos groaned. “Is something wrong?” Tyrock asked.
“It’s CJ,” another yelled broke thru his sensitive long distance hearing ears.
Carlos’s eyes turned blood red, “Philip has my CJ!”
