Nicole ran over shouting about calling an ambulance but I stayed cradling her... I refused to leave her. I remember carrying her towards the ambulance and screeching for her not to leave me. I wanted to cry but I had no tears left... It was a blur of hate and being scared.they drove her to hospice and in the ambulance they said it might be a while till she's better and i said
"I won't sleep until you are better"
