That night, I couldn't sleep too. Maybe because I was scared. I kept taking sides and looking everywhere with my eyes open wide. The three of us were sleeping in the same room.

After some time, Steve woke up and saw me sitting on my bed staring hard at the wall. "What happened?" He asked. I didn't bother him. No, I actually didn't hear him murmur. "Hello Lady?" He spoke louder as he waved his hand. I shook my head. "Lady what?" I said. He smirked. "Stop calling me that." I giggled.

Steve went towards the window and stared. "See, there!" He whispered. "What?" I got up from my bed and moved towards the window where Steve stood. "Some people standing with the tree." He murmured. "They are not human beings!" I spoke slowly. "Look at their eyes!"

Without wasting a second, we both ran downstairs. As we got out of the main door, and to the back yard, we found no-one. "They're gone." Steve said. As he spoke, a bad feeling ran down my oesophagus and my eyes opened wide. "Steve!" I shouted. "Yeah?" He said. "Can you see these....footprints?" I asked, surprised. "These...are they really..? He was going to say something when I busted in. "They're going towards that tree...can you see it?" I started following them. "Yeah...I see...." Steve spoke. He didn't seem interested in it. Suddenly, the footprints disappeared. I took a step and everything blackened out. I felt like someone was holding me by my arms. I don't know what happened next.

Kaylee vanished. She literally did. I don't know what happened to her. But she wasn't here anymore. I was standing alone in the backyard. Looking for her everywhere. But I didn't find her. Scared, I went back to Kaylee's room.

"Chloe! Wake up!" I whispered while shaking Chloe's head. She didn't wake up. I picked up Kaylee's phone and dialed Zac's number.

"Hey?"
Zac! Kay vanished!
What?
Kay disappeared!
You must be kidding me?
Hurry up! Come and inform others!

I ended the call. My heart was in my mouth. I was so scared. I kept wandering here and there. After thirty minutes, the door knocked. I went downstairs to see.

I opened the door and saw it was Zac followed by others.

"What happened?"

"Were you joking?"

"Tell me. Are you serious?"

"He must be joking!!"

"Speak up, Steve."

I was speechless. All I had seen was horrible. I took a deep breath.

"Steve?" Olivia murmured.

"Come...with me..." I spoke breathlessly.

I took them to the backyard. I showed them the footprints.But informed them not to go ahead. After taking some pictures and clues as detectives, we went back to Kaylee's room. Everything I thought about Kaylee, I felt something bad running down my oesophagus. I had feelings for her. But I didn't know if she did. I didn't want to lose her.

"So, we have to figure out what happened to Kay." Jake said excitedly. "Be serious, Jake! Stop jumping. What if...What if something bad happens with her?!" I told him. Everyone hooted. 'Ooooo' "Say it a little straightforwardly." Zac smirked. "This is a serious matter!" I banged my hand on the table.

We heard some noise. Maybe a siren. But it wasn't a siren. It was something else. Something that we didn't know.
