'Lisa,' Jisoo spoke up, eyes dancing around the room. 'How about we go back to the dorm? I-'

The blonde in front of her shook her head in protest. 'I haven't finished my cake yet,' she whined.

'We can pack it.'

Lisa thought for a moment, then nodded. 'Okay,' she sighed, meaning to get up. But Jisoo scrambled to her feet, making Lisa stop on her seat.

'I'll do it.' Jisoo anxiously offered, glancing back.

Lisa's brow furrowed in surprise and confusion. She slowly nodded, sitting back down. 'O-Okay.'

There was definitely something she was missing, Lisa quickly realised. Jisoo had never seemed so rushed and so.. not-put-together in the time they'd known each other.

She returned minutes later, having ducked through the throng of people and sliding through the crowd back. She barely missed an encounter with Lisa's stranger man, nearly knocking him over when she plowed through and shouldered him.

Lisa noticed Jisoo did not apologise; unusual of her.

'Jisoo, do you know him?'

Her friend froze. 'No.'

Lisa glanced at the boy. He was ordering his drink at the counter, having made it to the front of the line. He returned around and-

'Lisa, let's go,' Jisoo said, hurriedly gathering her things. Lisa sighed. Her friends worked in strange ways, but she had no question of their good intentions.

When they made it to the door, Lisa turned her neck, taking one last look into the inside - their eyes met.

The boy and Lisa stood rooted in their spots across the room, paralysed by an unseen force that made it impossible for her to snap out.

But Jisoo then dragged Lisa out behind her and once again, she lost sight of the mysterious stranger.
