Hiccup sensed that he was being watched but he tried his best to ignore the feeling. He was putting his wings back in when he heard leaves hitting against each other. Its not windy so someone is watching him and his bud that has fallen asleep on the ground.

He looked closely at a tree and it was the tree Astrid was in. He didn't see her but the feeling was still bothering him. He hears the tree shake again and he knew someone was here.

Astrid was losing her grip on the tree and tried everything to be quite and unnoticed. Her plan failed.

"Hello?" Said Hiccup. To Astrid, she just wanted to run up to him and punch him for running away and hiding all these years. But why does she care if he left? It was his unheard of decision.

She looked straight at Hiccup through the leaves that hid her so well until she saw the monster who left the black scales.

She dropped from the tree from shock of seeing the Night Fury. At the sound of her falling, the night fury and Hiccup saw her, sitting there. With a shocked expression. From seeing the night fury and Hiccup.

"Astrid..." said Hiccup. Not able to find the words. The Night fury was looking at her with such a glare that if looks could hurt, she would be dead.

"Hiccup... what are you doing here? And why is there a night fury that looks like it is going to kill me?" She said with a glare and standing up.

She realized how tall Hiccup had gotten. How older he looks. He has stubble on his face but hardly noticeable. You can only see it up close.

"Toothless, this is Astrid. Astrid, Toothless." Says Hiccup. Toothless growls at Astrid. Signalling that he doesn't like her.

"Wait, you named that?"

"He is not... a that. He is... my friend."

"I have to tell Gobber this." She says running off.

Hiccup knows that nobody can know about this so he has to show her that Toothless is tamed and others can be too. He hops on Toothless and they look for Astrid. They spot her and toothless picks her up by his feet and holds her by her arms.

Toothless finds a tree and drops her onto a branch, having her hang on by her hands. Toothless perches on the top of the tree and it bends with all his weight.

"Hiccup! Get me down from here!" Yells Astrid.

"Astrid, I know you... hate me but I... finally met someone... who actually... cares about me. You can't... tell anyone. And obviously , I have a... lot of explaining."

The word hate sends a hurt to her chest. "Fine!" Astrid pulls herself up and stands on the branch and climbs on Toothless ignoring his growling.

"Okay bud. Go easy." Toothless spreads out his wings, but then, he wants Astrid to realize that she can trust him. So he decides to have fun. They go flying up in the air and Astrid is screaming. They dive down and Astrid screams even louder.

"Did you not... hear what I said?" Hiccup yells at his Dragon. "Thank you for... nothing, you useless... reptile." Says Hiccup.

Astrid wraps her arms around Hiccup's waist. "Hiccup, I am sorry. Please get me down." She says burning her face on his back and her eyes closed and holding on to Hiccup for dear life.

Toothless suddenly stops going crazy and Astrid calms down. They are going at a steady pace. Astrid looks up and sees clouds. Right above her and reaches up and touches the clouds.

"Astrid, who else... is on the... island?"

"Me, you, Goober, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Snotlout, and Fishlegs."

"Okay."

"Why?"

"Because they... need to meet... two people." Hiccup says with a smirk.

"Hiccup, what about Toothless? Gobber could kill him."

"I am not going... to let that happen." Hiccup says with confidence in his voice.

They go back to the island and the land. Toothless let's Astrid get off. Hiccup gets off after and waits for her to signal them both.
