Chapter 12: Back Home
A/N hey guys. I have a few things to say.
1. In my last c chapter, I saw someone comment and it looked like they were confused sorta. We'll Hiccup was surprised by what Astrid said so he was speechless and didn't say much
2. This chapter will be Hiccups POV
3. 3 more chapter till I give out the dedications from that one challenge.
I have rambled on long enough, here is chapter 12.
Astrid surprised me. She felt bad for me? Nobody does. She was one of those people who be as hard as a rock and won't break. But Astrid's rock broke. Hard.
We walk back to the camp and I put my bags on the side of Toothless's saddle.
Everybody was putting their bags in the boat.
"You guys ready t' go?" asked Gobber.
Everyone agreed and got in the boat while I hopped on Toothless.

When they arrive at Berk, everyone start the search of my dad.
As we are walking, people look at me and look utterly confused.
Wouldn't you be confused if you saw a 19 year old man who looks a lot like Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third?
"Okay, we are going to split up to find the chief. Ye can pair up or go alone. I don't care but we need to find Stoick." Said Gobber.
Ruff and Tuff pair up but Snotlout and Fishlegs go their separate ways. I start looking for my dad when I hear light Footsteps behind me getting louder as they come.
"Hey Hiccup." Said a voice that belongs to Astrid.
"Oh... Um... Hey." I say. "You don't... Have to... Um... Walk with me." I say stammering.
"But I want to."
I don't know what to say so I stay quiet.
But Astrid being Astrid, she speaks up again.
"What was the Dragon cave like?"
"Oh... Um... Like outside... Of the cave, it was... Really foggy. Only a... Dragon can... Find the cave. Inside... Is huge. There are... Cliffs all along... The walls. Below is... A big hole. In the... Hole is where... The Red Death is." I say. The stammering is really starting to annoy me.
It seems like Astrid read me mind. "Does the stammering ever get annoying?"
"You read my... Mind." Astrid laughs softly.
God her laugh. Astrid really changed over the past five years. Her hair has grown, she has totter a litter taller but this time, I am taller than her. Her eyes are still the piercing blue as last time I saw her.
She is beautiful. But I doubt she would ever take interest in me.
