:Time Skip: (Age 18)

{Akame (Your) POV}

Your hands became sweaty, you felt a little queasy, your stomach had butterflies doing flips. You were right in front of the mansion.

"Aren't you going to go in Akame?" Carla questioned with a coolness that made you even more nervous.

"Yeah...", you replied quietly, pushing open the creaking doors. But before you could call out, Carla disappeared, leaving you behind for this was the moment you've been building up for.

"Hello?" You voice rang throughout the mansion, getting no response but your own echos.

"Ayato? Shu? Ruki?" You slightly shouted, feeling the nervousness creep upon you.

"Who are you?" A blonde girl also with red eyes asked, in a sharp and threatening tone.

"AKAME! It's....you!" Before I could answer the girl, Ayato interrupted and without another moment, embraced me, snuggling his red head into my right shoulder like when we were younger.

"Ayato-nii...", I say as tears start flowing down my cheek.

I was on the couch before I knew it, with all the brothers crowding around me and giving me long hugs and whining.

"I missed you all so much." You smiled at them, the smile that melted any heart, the smile that you used to give when you were all kids.

{Ruki's POV}

I smiled back. 'I still can't believe it, she's really back. I've waited so long and this time, I have to tell her.'

I started walking towards Akame but it seems like the others had the same exact idea. Before any of us could get to her, Yui butted in with a question, in which I started zoning out to.

|Flashback to Age 8|

{Ruki's POV}

"RUKI-KUN!" I knew that voice anywhere. I turned around and saw Akame running towards me.

"Akame? What do you need?" I asked with a dull tone.

"Come with me!" She exclaimed quite happily, not giving me a moment to even process it, grabbing my hand, pulling me further into the woods until we saw a small river.

*Huffs*

"Look Ruki!" She raised her arms up forming a 'V' shape and as I raised my head, the sight was unbelievable.

The river glistened under the white sun, accompanied by clouds, warming my skin. Red flowers spreaded throughout the grassy lands, glistening with dew since it was just blessed by the drizzling rain. And to top it all off, a light rainbow caressed across the sky.

In a very long time, from being whiped, cussed at, and abused. I smiled.

Before I could thank her, she started to sing. She harmonized with nature, butterflies landing on her delicate finger, and as she sang her heart out, I fell asleep leaning on a tree. Knowing that she was the one I wanted to be with...forever.

|Back to Present|

{Ruki's POV}

*SLAM*

I snapped out of my day dream and saw Akame hit her hand on the coffee table, struggling to keep conscious, then falling to the ground.

"Akame!" We all yelled in unision. Ayato carried her up the stairs, into her old room, where everything was kept exactly the same. We all trailed behind just to make sure she was alright. As I walk up the stairs, I catch a glimse of Yui standing there, her hair shading her eyes. A small smirk appeared then it returned into a smile.

"Tch, stupid livestock." I grumbled quietly.
