25: Perfect-

Third person P.O.V

The morning was nice, slightly cold, but the fresh scent of the wet soil from the last night was enough to make anyone feel happier and pleased with the weather. Just like a certain dark blue-haired boy.

Taehyung had recently dyed his hair blue again, making him look extremely attractive as ever that he even got some dates proposals that he politely refused. Also, the three little devils like cute creatures were always on his tail, as if attached to his hips and ready to shoo away any possible threat.

"Hyung!" Taehyung flinched lightly, almost dropping his book on his own foot when an overly excited voice caught him off guard right behind his ear, making him scowl later.

"Don't do that, Yeonjun. I might've got a heart attack." The younger male sheepishly rubbed his neck and apologized before dragging the older to his car.

"Where?!"

"We had a plan, hyung! Don't tell me you forgot?!" Hearing that, Taehyung bit his lower lip because indeed, he forgot their plan of a little trip to the nearby amusement Park, something he promised to do after his exams after a lot of pestering from the same three devils.

"Well, it doesn't matter as far as you are coming with us." Yeonjun huffed out, and soon, they were inside Taehyung's house where the older male got freshened up while he made some hot chocolate for both while texting his two friends to be ready.

"I see. You have gotten so cozy at my place." Taking slow steps to the worn-out sofa in the living room where Yeonjun was busy with his phone and hot chocolate, Taehyung crocked his brow.

"Ah, hehe, you said to be comfortable when we visited your place last time." Taehyung rolled his eyes but couldn't help a chuckle because the other looked slightly nervous now.

"And this is the comfort level you have." Clearing his throat when nothing came out in his defense, Yeonjun got up and handed the other cup to Taehyung.

"I made one for you, knowing that you must be tired after your exams." Batting his lashes innocently, Yeonjun tried to prove his point, and that's it, the living room was soon filled with the soft yet alluring sound of giggles that even Yeonjun felt his nervous system broke right at that spot.

After his heartfelt laughter session, Taehyung took a deep breath to control himself but smiled again at the awestruck expression of the younger. Shaking his head, he softly pinched Yeonjun's cheeks, not before taking the cup from his hands. "You all are so cute, seriously."

Yeonjun blinked many times, still in the daze of what he had witnessed to brag about in front of those two idiots of his friends because not a single time in the last month they saw their favorite person laughing loudly, and oh God, will he stop bragging about that he was the first one to hear it, nope, a big fat no!

"Aren't you going to finish yours?" The question brought him back, and his smirk vanished when he saw Taehyung pointing to his unfinished cup of hot chocolate.

°°••••°°°°••••°°

The soft breeze was making his hair dance, a corndog in his hands, almost forgotten because his gaze was fixed on a couple, enjoying the time together. He wasn't a love-sick type of person, but yeah, he had some thoughts regarding his life, especially his love life. Even when he wasn't much lucky, whenever it came to dating, he always thought of having a nice meeting with the person who would like him as much as he would. But when Jungkook marked him forcefully and declared him as his mate, he almost lost all his hope, and now, when he was free again, it all felt useless, the reason he declined all the proposals.

"Hyung~~, stop spacing out. Your corndog is cold." Soobin waved his hand, and Taehyung sighed tiredly. It was already around evening, and not a lie that he enjoyed a lot with those three adorable youngsters.

It was already a month since he met them, a month after the incident happened in the store but fortunately, it never happened after that night. He was so happy to have them on his side as Hoseok was so busy with his work, and he felt too bad for keeping him bound to his miseries. It all changed when Soobin started telling him some funny stories after his shifts as he stayed with him and even dropped him sometimes as well. The same was Yeonjun and Hyuna but in university. Sometimes, he felt really shocked to find them outside of his classroom whenever he was free as if they knew his schedule but later on, he decided not to ponder on that and simply enjoyed their company, a reason to forget the past to some extent.

"Hyung, let's go on the last ride, and after that, we will watch the magic show before dinner." Yeonjun was already on his feet, done with his snack while Hyuna was still fighting with the melted cheese.

"Sure." Shrugging off the bundle of thoughts, Taehyung solely focused on his treat before following the youngsters to the ride bravely, not mentioning his fears of heights. Good thing, it went smoothly after which they watched the magic show and following the plan ended up at a stall of food near the park.

"It was such a memorable day." Hyuna chirped, going through her phone, and checking her gallery, but a fuming Yeonjun soon snatched it away.

"Oh, my dear lord! How dare you snap such pics of me?!"

"Give it back!"

"No! Soobin ah! Look, she made me look dirty and ugly." Taehyung looked wide-eyed as Yeonjun's lips wobbled.

Soobin, who was busy placing the order, quickly rushed it to see what Yeonjun was showing to him only to frown.

"You are already ugly," Hyuna smirked, flipping her hair back, adding fuel to the fire.

"Binieee!" Taehyung almost choked on the water when the said male pouted and hugged the whining Yeonjun, but that pout was gone, and a hazardous glare replaced the softness in his eyes when he saw Hyuna.

"That's unfair! Oppa, look, they are ganging up against me again!" Hyuna pouted and stomped her feet before launching at Taehyung as her defense, who was still processing the scene unfolding in front of his eyes.

Soobin was busy coaxing Yeonjun, muttering something inaudible, but Hyuna growled and kicked his shin, which was answered with a smack on her head, making the eldest of them all gasp.

"Why are you fighting?!" Taehyung sprung up, quite surprised, and came in between Soobin and Hyuna, who looked like they would break each other's bones any second.

They all shared a glance before Soobin pulled back from Yeonjun, but kept a hand on the small of his back, and Hyuna hung her head low.

"Sorry, hyung. They are always like this." Soobin scratched his temple, still glaring at Hyuna, who was avoiding his gaze at all costs.

"Don't fight, ok. We had a perfect time today. Don't ruin it now, hmm?" Smiling softly at three, Taehyung said and gently made them all sit back on their seats, and good thing that their food arrived shortly after.

The cold wind made him shiver lightly, causing him to snuggle more into his hoodie, the warmth instantly reminding him of the dreams he was getting from the past month... those strange and questionable dreams that felt very real sometimes, but whenever he would wake up, it was just him and no one else. Indeed strange-

"YOU LITTLE SH*T!" The loud screech made Taehyung stare dumbfounded at Hyuna resting on the concrete road and Yeonjun laughing his ass off while Soobin looked so done with them for the nth time.

Shortly after, the area was filled with screams of Yeonjun when Hyuna chased him all around the stalls, and this time, Soobin did nothing but gobbled up the food rather quickly.

Taehyung looked worried when both of them disappeared from his sight, but after a few minutes, a pouting Yeonjun was back having a big scratch on his neck and red ear with Hyuna walking behind him with a victories smile. Seriously, they were out of Taehyung's league yet he couldn't help but adore them as they appeared like a ray of sunshine in his almost dusk-ridden life.

"Yeonjun, we need to hurry up." Hyuna suddenly said, her eyes slightly bewildering about something, but again, Taehyung didn't ponder over it.

This time, Taehyung paid for the food, oblivious to the fact that Soobin had already stuffed some cash inside his pocket without his notice before they were standing near Yeonjun's car.

"Hyung, please stay with us at the dorms tonight. It's quite late." Soobin suggested, rubbing his hands together and ushering Yeonjun to enter first when they were about to enter the car when the said male was focused somewhere else as something caught his attention.

"It's Hyung's car." Taehyung frowned, finding Hoseok's car parked nearby, and he was just about to contact the older when a hand patted his shoulder.

"Tae, woah. What a coincidence!" The chirpy male greeted the younger ones, who were equally happy to see the male after a week as they had dinner at Taehyung's house a week before which was a treat from Hoseok for getting a bonus at his job, and since then, they are in contact with the male.

"I'll take him back. You guys should go back to your dorms. It's getting late." Hoseok announced as the worried brother he was, taking Taehyung's arm in his hand with the latter agreeing.

"Sure." Soobin smiled, gave in to the matter, and to Taehyung, it looked fake as far as he knew that boy... it was fake.

"Let's go, Tae." Nodding to him, he bid goodbye and left with Hoseok. The drive was silent until Hoseok turned on the music. The soft melody was perfect with the look of the sky where a full moon was shining, looking prestigious as ever and making the environment serene. Resting his head over the window when that silent road started where it all happened to change his life out of the blue, he looked out and closed his eyes to dive into the moment.

Hoseok glanced over at the blue-haired and smiled before turning back to the road only to lose control of the steering wheel when something came right in front of his car, almost hitting it, making Taehyung open his eyes in panic. Trying to pull brakes, Hoseok wanted to stop the car, but it was late when something big actually collided with the front, and the car rolled over by the impact... crashing right at the spot and stopping by a wall of the building on the other side of the road.

The wheels were still rolling with the upside-down car laying there, where one male was weakly trying to get rid of the seat belt and calling the other who was unconscious, not focusing on the creatures standing out there and waiting to tear them apart... because the perfect is not the term to exist in some people's life and Taehyung might be one of them.
