Ignore mistakes, please

Third person POV

Taehyung was sitting on his bed, well, technically not his bed. At least he won't be going to call it his bed, just the bed in Jungkook's room, yeah. His hands were hovering over the book in his hands, given by Jimin to leave the remnants of his loneliness (as per beta's words). The title was 'when you feel lost', quite matching his own life at the moment and the ongoing drama in it.

A soft sigh left his lips when his forefinger flicked the edge of the page, his mind roaming around the small event in the house when that fragile-looking girl barged inside the house bravely. She looked very fragile to be a werewolf, but what could he say when a weak, elegant yet old lady, none other than Jungkook's mother, was also part of it all?

"She never mentioned being a witch to me, and maybe Jimin did that mistakenly as well." His mind clicked, even when he said to the blond male that the woman mentioned being a witch, but now when he recalls it clearly, she didn't. She just said everyone here is a werewolf, except her.

Rubbing the smooth paper with his finger, Taehyung leaned back on the headboard, his eyes distant within the confinement of the four walls, as his mind pondered over how to escape this golden cage

The word cage reminded him of the certain male, who happened to be still busy with his duties to even spare him a glance, and he was too happy for that. At least, he doesn't have to be on high alert in front of someone who has a great ability to read minds. But the way Jungkook's eyes sparkled after his fake enthusiasm at the end of their last talk, he felt a bit, very slightly conflicted. The male looked like having anger issues, maybe some dual personality issues as well, which all the other calls by the name of 'alpha', Jungkook's wolf. If the so-called alpha is his part, he should have some control over it, then why do they both act so opposite?

That's a bothersome question in Taehyung's mind, which was still unanswered. The whole day, he was trying hard to focus on finding any way out, but it seemed like it wasn't an easy task.

Putting the book aside, he closed his eyes, well aware that very soon Jimin would be there with his dinner, and he had to smile in front of him. Just when he decided to clear up his mind a bit and relax, he heard some muffled noise coming from outside, getting his attention.

"What's that? Are the new guests this much excited?" Referring to the new arrivals in the pack, he frowned because it was really unlikely to have this much commotion outside. At least since he came here, it was always peaceful.

There was a little bewildering feeling inside his mind about whether to go out of his room or not. After all, they all were supernatural beings, and he looked like a damsel in distress in between them all.

"I'm not going. Who knows if they will attack me and suck my blood." Shuddering at the thought, he snuggled back inside the covers and blocked the voices.

But what he didn't expect was a loud crash, most probably from Jungkook's room, and that sound was enough to make him alert now. Getting up from the bed, he trudged to the door to lock it, but he was late as the door was pushed open forcefully in an instant, causing him to fall back on the floor.

A small wince left his lips, though he didn't get the chance to retort on the rude person when he was forced to stand up by two firm hands.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." The person said, making Taehyung look up to find a boy, maybe in his mid-twenties, standing there with a worried look. Even when his half-face was covered, his eyes showed it all.

Frowning deeply, the blue-haired slapped his hands away from his shoulders and stepped back. "Who are you?! And why did you break in like a thief?"

He remembers clearly what Jimin said. No one knows about his whereabouts in the pack, and that's the reason he was confined within the house for protection, which he definitely can not believe, but yeah, the person was unknown.

"I mean no harm. Instead, I'm here to help." The stranger quipped, shaking his head frantically.

"Help?"

"Yes, help. I know the alpha of this pack is keeping you here by forcing you. He is literally keeping you here as a prisoner, which is not acceptable. We are trying to get you out of this area and back to your house safely."

Taehyung was taken aback by the words. Someone came to help him?

"Why should I believe you?" Taehyung stepped back again, his mind a bit more alert than before at the mention of his freedom.

The male pulled his mask down, and his features were quite remarkable. "I'm a werewolf too, but you, as a human, can't stay here. You can't be safe here."

"The question is the same. Why should I believe you?!" The male licked his lips and looked back.

"Listen, we are literally taking a very big chance to save you. Please, believe me, these people are far more than just cruel. You won't be able to survive if they break their fake acts." Taehyung gulped. His mind gets more panicked.

"I promise, I'll drop you at your place. Wherever you say, I'll safely drop you there. Just come quickly, we don't have much time." The stranger was now practically begging.

"My friends out there are putting their lives at risk for your freedom. Please don't make it a waste." Looking at the conflicted expression of the human, the werewolf licked his dry lips and fell over his knees.

"The alpha is the most cruelest of all. He kills like a real beast, and you, a mere human, stand no chance once he loses himself." Taehyung blinked in nervousness, recalling the last time he was almost choked to death when he just tried to put some effort into his freedom.

"As we are werewolves, we can take this chance and save your life, but you alone, or even the other humans have no chance to fight back. We are doing it for your good. But still, if you don't want to come and get your freedom, it's up to you. At least, we won't be having any regret that we didn't try." Saying that the werewolf took a deep breath, momentarily tilting his head like focusing on something before getting up from the floor.

Taehyung was in a great wave of chaos right now, and his mind was reeling, trying to make the right decision at the time, which seemed the most difficult task because he had to rush.

He is the only one supporting my freedom right now. He is also right, I stand no chance, and if I'm getting one, I shouldn't let it slip.

In the next second, he had already clutched the robe of the werewolf who was almost out of the room, stopping him right there with a puzzled look.

"I- I'm coming with you. But promise me, you will drop me to my place, or at least, out of this forest."

"Sure!" The werewolf enthusiastically replied, and both left the room, not through the door, but through the barricaded window, which the supernatural being broke.

Taehyung's mind was a little bewildering, witnessing how the person was rushing him out of the place with less effort. It was really unlikely to be in someone's arms and jumping over the tall walls, which seemed like an impossible deed for him before, but not anymore.

The stranger stopped for a little moment after climbing the wall and quietly took something out of his robe before rubbing it over Taehyung's neck, near the fresh mark.

"Hey -"

"Shh, that's for your safety. It will reduce your scent and they won't be able to locate us. Now, let's climb over my back for now, I'll let you run once we are far from here." Taehyung wanted to protest, but he was left with no choice. The male knelt in front of him, urging him to climb up on his back before rushing.

The unknown person was running at the speed of light, if that's the right thing to describe because everything was a blur to the blue-haired human, making his head spin.

"You- you didn't tell me your name!" Taehyung had to almost shout, afraid that his voice might dissipate in the air before reaching the werewolf's ears.

The other ignored his words, and his speed also went a bit down, making Taehyung look around only to find that the forest was getting thicker.

"We are out of their pack boundaries." The unknown male announced, his voice sounding cheerful, but Taehyung was having his sixth sense buzzing in alert, like already telling him that something worse was about to happen.

The male didn't stop. He just kept running, although at a lower speed than before until, a loud growl echoed in the whole forest, halting the male.

Taehyung was still having the aftermath of high speed, but he managed to look back in the direction of the growl, only to come across a silhouette. His eyes widened in horror when the silhouette became clear, moving at a higher speed than he just witnessed a few moments ago, and came out as a big, majestic, black wolf.

"Damn!" The person cursed before running again like no tomorrow, Taehyung had to clutch over his shoulders more firmly, afraid of falling down.

The fear in his heart was increasing when the loud thumps on their tail just went closer, and it wasn't long before the same wolf was standing in front of them, making them halt in their way, fallen dry leaves flew away by the impact.

The heavy breathing of the unknown male was the only sound besides the low growls of the black wolf, Taehyung was too shocked to let any sound out of his mouth.

Those red, gleaming eyes were spitting fire, screaming the rage behind them and danger for the others. But why was that wolf there looking so feral?

"Alpha Jungkook, he is coming with me willingly. I'm not kidnapping your mate." The answer was given to the oblivious blue-haired in the next second by the stranger, and he was sure that he felt the body quiver under his hold.

"J- Jungkook?" The name was below a whisper, but the way that black wolf whipped his head toward the human, Taehyung's breath hitched.

The person he met two days ago, the same person who looked like a normal human, was now standing in front of him in the form of a wolf, a real, big wolf.

The rustling of the leaves made them realize the silence between them, but it was short-lived because in the next second, a small wince left Taehyung's lips when he was pushed down, and a loud growl followed by a scream of pain when seemingly Jungkook attacked the stranger.

The wolf was trying to bite the male, all while growling frantically, looking so angry. The stranger managed to push the wolf a little and gazed back at the shocked blue-haired before shouting some words.

"RUN! RUN STRAIGHT TO SAVE YOURSELF!"

But will Taehyung be able to run away and save himself from the wolf after the help he was provided by a stranger?
