"you're not supposed to be together at the moment, but you're caught up with each other in your room, making-out on the bed. suddenly, there's a knock on the door, and your lover has to hide in the wardrobe, before your friend/parent enter. alternatively, if you walk past the wardrobe your lover is hiding in, while trying to get your friend/parent to leave the room, your lover pulls you into it, and suddenly you've disappeared, leaving your friend/parent flabbergasted because where are you"

You were spending your summer break over at the Burrow, the house filled with loud conversations, heartfelt laughters and bickering between the siblings, needing Molly to get involved and try calming them down. In the meantime, Arthur sat in his armchair, right beside the fireplace that has been out of use for the past couple of months and let his wife deal with their kids with a playful smile in the corner of his lips, hidden by the newspaper he pretended to focus on.

By the evening, Ginny and Ron were arguing over something trivial for the umpteenth time that day, but you didn't pay attention to them, instead you leaned into George's side on the couch and enjoyed the warmth his arm around your shoulder provided you. Even the bickering siblings couldn't ruin the relaxing atmosphere your boyfriend's presence offered you.

"Friends, huh?" Fred smirked at you from across the room, seated in a soft chair, legs thrown over the arm.

"Here we go," George rolled his eyes, sending a deadly glare towards his brother. There was no particular reason for you to hide your relationship from his family, but George and you found the secrecy somewhat fun. It's only been a couple of months since your friendship turned into a romantic relationship, but you weren't rushing to share the news. As George put it, he just wanted you to himself for a little longer.

"What?" Fred shrugged. "Would you like me to pretend to be blind?" He arched a questioning brow.

"Seeing something that's not there doesn't mean you are blind, simply delusional," you shrugged nonchalantly, imitating him.

"Aren't you just smart?" He offered you a smirk. "I'm not dumb, however hard it is to believe. I know you both like the back of my hand. I don't get why you are hiding it, but I'm onto you," he narrowed his eyes, studying both of you with a suspicious look.

"Ignore him, he has nothing better to do," George squeezed your shoulder with a playful smile across his handsome face, the dim light of the living room enhancing his tiny freckles. Mirroring his expression, you nodded and leaned back into his embrace.

"Enough," Molly raised her voice, shutting down the argument between Ron and Ginny, making you slightly jump at his authoritative tone. "All of you, go to sleep," she continued and ran her eyes over everyone present in the room.

"Us as well?" Fred asked, pointing towards his chest, his eyes widening as Molly nodded in confirmation. "We haven't even done anything," he tried to argue, but Molly shook her head.

"I don't care, I have had enough for today," she huffed as she headed to the kitchen. Molly has been trying to keep the fights at bay, starting with Fred and George's food fight at breakfast, followed by a prolonged bickering between Charlie and Percy at lunch and the ongoing feud throughout the whole day with Ginny and Ron. It was a miracle that they didn't turn the burrow into a war zone by the evening.

"Let's just go," you nudged George and although the boy seemed hesitant, he nodded and followed you as you stood up and started off towards the stairwell. However, the feeling of someone watching your every move halted your steps and as you turned back around, you found Fred staring at you with narrowed eyes and the same suspicious gaze he wore not long before. George followed your eyes, his gaze stopping on his brother as he let out a loud, exasperated sigh.

"Would you stop, finally?" George asked his twin in a tired tone.

"Would you?" Fred asked back.

"What am I supposed to stop?" George frowned, tilting his head innocently, but his voice held an irate edge.

"Pretending," his brother huffed. "It's one thing that you don't say anything to the others, especially mom, because she would start planning your marriage on the spot, but I'm your twin," Fred threw his arms in the air, emphasising his frustration. George knew he was right and so did you, but without discussing what you'd do, you had to continue pretending.

"Whatever," George rolled his eyes and placed a hand on your back as you headed up the stairs.

On top of the staircase, right beside the entrance of your room, George looked around, searching for anyone else lurking around the corridor before he interlocked his fingers with yours and placed his other hand on the back of your neck, gently stroking your jaw. Stepping closer, he pressed a tiny kiss to your lips, finally being able to touch you without anyone questioning your proximity.

"Come in, noone will know," you invited him into your room, needing just a bit more time with him. After all, you couldn't shower each other with attention throughout the day. At least not as much as you wished.

"Who am I to deny myself from you," he smirked, earning a humorous scoff from you as you opened the door and pulled him in with a slightly stronger force than you expected from yourself. You pushed him against the wall, right beside the door as you closed it. "Oh, now I'm curious what you had in mind," he chuckled, before you cupped his jaw and sealed his lips with yours, stopping him from blabbering any longer.

Turning him towards the bed, you didn't part from him, but you gently nudged him towards your bed, forcing him into a seated position at the edge of the mattress as you sat down on his lap. A silent chuckle left your lungs as he smiled into the kiss, his arms tightening around your waist.

"I really wanted to kiss you all day," you hummed against his lips, eyes still closed as you soaked in his proximity, his arms around you giving you comfort and safety.

"I know," he heaved a heavy sigh.

"Should we just tell them?" You asked as you opened your eyes and met his hazel ones, the moon's reflection twinkling in his gaze in the darkness of your room as you caressed his cheeks.

"Maybe. It seems Fred is onto us and he is not one to give up," he rolled his eyes as he recalled his brother's determined expression. "Tomorrow then?" He arched a brow, but his arms tightened around you. "But that means, I'm sleeping here tonight," a small, mischievous smirk spread across his face, earning a light giggle from you. "At least I want to have you only to myself for the rest of the night, before I offer you to the lions," he huffed, but his tone was more humorous than worried.

"The only reason I accept your concern is because Molly has already expressed her interest in having us married and she doesn't even know we've been together for a while," you chuckled as you imagined Molly's overexcited state upon realising your relationship.

"She did?" George's eyes widened.

"Not once," you nodded with an innocent smile.

"Maybe we should practice for the honeymoon then," George let out a wholehearted laughter, throwing his head back before you pulled him against you, pressing your lips to his, feeling content in the moment. Throughout the day you wanted to steal him away and hide in a secluded corner, kissing him, warping your arms around him, but it seemed impossible with so many people around watching your every move. But after a long day without being able to shower him with attention, it was a blissful moment to finally have him in your arms, letting loose in his warm embrace.

But a loud knock interrupted your sweet moment, earning a silent curse from George.

"You have to hide," you spoke in a panicked tone. George rolled his eyes, studying your room, searching for a hiding place, before you pointed at the wardrobe.

"Let me guess," he started with an incredulous look, "you saw it in a muggle movie," he huffed, earning a silent giggle from you.

"A book actually. They come in handy at times," you replied as you quickly kissed him and stood up from his lap, ushering him to your wardrobe. Another loud knock came, earning a frustrated huffing sound from you.

"I'm coming," you replied as you rolled your eyes and shoved George into the furniture, giggling at his annoyed expression. "Don't get lost in Narnia," you snickered, but George's expression showed confusion, before it turned into concern over your sanity. Ignoring his reaction, you simply waved him off and closed the door of your wardrobe.

You walked up to the entrance of your room, opening it for your visitor, who was none-other than Fred Weasley. Frowning at the sight of him, you leaned against the door frame, ready to ask about his visit, but he gently pushed past you and ran his eyes over your room as though he was searching for something, or rather someone.

"Where is he?" He asked as he crouched down beside the bed, looking under it suspiciously.

"What are you doing?" You asked with a deep frown.

"I'm searching for my dear brother," he shrugged as he stepped to your half-open curtains, hanging from ceiling to floor, pulling them further apart as if someone could have been hiding behind them.

"Would you mind leaving my room?" You huffed in frustration as you stood beside the wardrobe, tapping your foot on the floor, arms folded in front of your chest.

"I heard his voice," he scoffed, feeling utterly useless.

"I'd suggest seeing a healer if you hear voices," you arched a questioning brow, which Fred just shrugged off. You were surprised he didn't check the wardrobe just yet, but it seemed your firm stance in front of the furniture wasn't obvious enough for him. Heaving a heavy sigh, you rubbed the bridge of your nose, Fred's presence irritating you more and more as time passed.

Fred was looking around the room, when the door of the wardrobe opened slightly, giving George a narrow sight to his brother's back, opening a chest of drawers as if he could even fit in those. Rolling his eyes, his lips curved into a playful smile. He opened the door wider and grabbed your waist, forcing a squeaking sound out of you that he quickly stopped with his own lips as he pulled you beside him, before he shut the door silently. You looked up at him with a bewildered expression, but he just shrugged and hinted a small kiss on your forehead.

"What in Merlin's name—" you heard Fred's voice and his frantic steps walking around the room. "Okay, enough of this game," he groaned and pulled his wand out, murmuring a spell, but nothing happened. "What's going on?" He asked and repeated the spell. "Revelio!" His words were useless, after all you weren't hidden by a spell, simply hiding in a wardrobe. "It's not funny," he scoffed in frustration. There was a momentary silence, before Fred let out a mild laughter. "Oh, and you thought you were smart," he chuckled as the doors of the wardrobe opened and Fred looked up at the pair of you with a proud grin. "Well, well, what do we have here," he snickered, earning a loud sigh from his brother and a frustrated eye roll from you.

"Are you happy now?" George asked as he stepped out of the furniture and reached for your hand to pull you beside him.

"Yes," he replied with a wide grin. "I knew it all along," he stated proudly. "I just don't get why you were hiding it?" His happy face fell, and a deep frown took over.

"Well, we thought it was fun," you snickered, especially as the memory of shoving your boyfriend into your wardrobe replayed in your mind.

"But why did you hide it from me? Me— me of all people," he huffed, annoyed at the secrecy.

"There was no particular reason, we just wanted to spend more time together without everyone nagging us about the future," George replied this time. "You know our mother, as soon as she hears about it, we will not have a moment of silence," he shrugged nonchalantly. "But we decided to announce it tomorrow anyway," he stated as he left a small kiss on your forehead, and you mirrored the sweet smile across his face.

"Fine, I get what you mean," he rolled his eyes as he turned towards the door. "Just don't be too loud tonight, I'm trying to sleep," he winked as you picked up a pillow and threw it at him. But before it could have hit your target, he closed the door with a silent snicker.

"Remind me not to curse him," you huffed in frustration.

"Feel free to do so. I will happily help," he snickered as he pulled you into his arms, kissing your lips before leading you to the bed and letting you rest on his chest as he pressed a kiss to your forehead, then your nose and finally to your lips. You bathed in each other's warmth before slumber took over, once again reuniting you in dreamland.
