"I'm so glad I did this," Tom mumbled sleepily as Beau brushed a strand of his hair out of his eyes.

"Did what?" Beau asked with a laugh, there were many things Tom had done recently that he was beyond grateful for and he needed clarification.

Tom smiled, wrapping his arm around his boyfriend's waist and pulling him closer on the bed. "Flew out here, surprised you, you know."

"I'm glad, too," Beau cuddled up next to Tom, the two face to face and entangled with each other. If not for the contrast in skin tones, it would have been hard to decipher whose legs were who. Tom had been a little surprised when he found out his boyfriend was a cuddler, but he didn't mind one bit.

"I would have hated having to go months without seeing you at the beginning of this."

"I was prepared for worst case scenario, honestly." Beau laughed, both of them smiling widely, just happy to be able to hold each other. "I'm glad you're here."
