After a long and awkward day of school, Elias heads to the cafe. Before he can even get out the doors though, he is interrupted by Zack.

" Where you going, Elias?"

" the cafe, where else would I be going?"

" I don't know, the gym, home?"

" Why would I go to the gym after P.E.?"

" To work out, don't you do that?"

" I take MMA classes, it's different."

" Oh, so can I go with you. I'm starving to death."

" Normally I would say yes, but I'm going alone with a friend. Hopefully more one day."

" Wait, you're going with the new girl?"

" She may be the new girl to you, but to me, an old friend. Plus, her name's Willow, and we don't talk much so it doesn't matter."

" you're going with a girl you like, to the cafe, on a date, but you don't talk much."

" When did I say it was a date?"

" It's obvious, you like her and you're going alone."

" It's just a small crush and as friends, if that."

" What do you mean?"

" A lot of stuff happened and I'm pretty sure she hates me, but maybe I can fix it."

" So, if you aren't gonna date her can I have her?"

" No, no you can't, and I have to go, so later nerd."

Elias sprints to the cafe, as Zach shouts to him.

" Hey, you know I can't run that fast."

" Why do you think I'm running?"

" I'll get you back for this."

" I'd like to see you try."

Elias finally arrives at the cafe, and goes outside to a secluded area. He sees Willow sitting at a table in the corner, and goes to sit by her.

" So you wanted to see me."

" I didn't want to see you, I have to. Look, I wanna get this over with, so let's cut to the chase. The reason I'm here is because I know you take those classes and can protect me."

" What do you mean?"

" You know how some bad people are after me. Well, there's a terrorist group called the blood thieves and they wanted our money. They tried robbing us one day, but they failed and now they're back from prison. They're trying to kidnap me and my sister, but we have a plan. There is a safe house a couple cities away. We need to reach it by foot, but they could be after me. If they find me though, they won't hesitate to hold me for ransom, and kill me if they must."

" Ok, that sounds really bad and sudden, but what do I have to do with this?"

" You must escort me and my human baby robot, Erin, across 5 cities to the safe house."

" Ok, so you want me, a 16 year old kid that takes some MMA classes, to protect you from a terrorist organization. Also, why do you have a human baby robot that's named after an anime character, what even is that?"

" A human baby robot is a robot that is exactly like a human baby, who will grow up to be a human adult robot. I really wanted to be a mother.

" A mother at 16!"

" No, a mother at 15, and you were chosen because we need to blend in. A little girl with some huge guy that looks like the rock isn't exactly unnoticeable.

" That makes sense, I guess, but why the human baby?"

" I told you why. Now, will you accept the mission or not."

" What's in it for me."

" Getting to go across the state with a cute girl and a million dollars."

" Fine, when do we leave?"

" Tomorrow morning, we need some rest. We have a long journey ahead of us. I will be staying with you tonight."

" Well, this is a lot to take in, so I need to go home."

" Ok, let's go then."

Elias and Willow walk into his mother's car. It turns out she knew the whole time, and had already prepared a room for her.

Later at night Elias goes to his room to find his bed gone, and Willow sleeping in the bottom of a bunk bed.

" So I guess this is all real." Elias thought to himself.

" I need to get some rest, now. I got a bit of a big day ahead tomorrow."
