Elias was having a good night. It's been two years since it all happened and they're finally back together again. It's a peaceful night. They are both on a grassy hill, holding hands looking up at the stars. " You know Willow, it's kinda funny." Elias says. Willow responds, " What's funny?" " After all that's happened, and all that we've been through, we're still together. It's like we're meant to be. Willow, I love you." Willow is now blushing really hard and responds " Awwww. Elias, I lo- why is it so hard to say. Ok, here I go."
Willow inhales deeply and exhales and say, " beep beep beep beep beep." Elias is very confused, then he realizes that it's not night time anymore. " Oh, it was just a stupid dream." Elias gets up for school. It's a Monday, just an ordinary Monday. An ordinary, horrible, terrible, painful, excruciating Monday. He does his usual morning routine. He puts his uniform on, brushes his teeth, combs his hair, and heads to school.
Once he's there he goes to the band room with his friends. He greets his band teacher, Mrs. Malary, puts his trombone in the room, and goes to class. His first hour is chemistry, taught by Mr. Nermal.

He goes and sits by one of his friends, Zach.

"Good morning my good man." Zach says

" Oh good morning, jolly good show." Elias responds.

" So, Elias, I hear there's a new girl in school, and she's in this hour."

" Really Zach, please don't tell me you already like a girl you've never even seen."

" Yeah I may not have seen her, but guess what."

" What is it this time?" Elias says in an annoyed tone.

" She's really really rich, and there are some bad guys after her family and their fortune. Think, just when she's getting beat up by some guys who comes to save her."

" Is it you?"

" It's me, and she'll fall in love and I'll be so rich."

" You're kidding me right, what if she's a terrible person or ugly or just wants you for the wrong reasons."

" I've seen pictures of her online. She's so beautiful and really nice. She gave a million dollars to poor seagulls in Africa."

" Seaguls.... in Africa. That's so good of her. Those seagulls have it so hard in AFRICA."

" Why did you shout it like that."

" Where do seagulls live"

"Uhhhhh Africa, right?"

" Excuse me for a moment my good friend."

Elias walks out of the room, and goes into the bathroom where no sound comes out at all.

" AAAAHHHH!!!! HE'S SUCH AN IDIOT!!!!! I CAN'T HANDLE THIS TODAY!!!!"

Elias walks back into the room, his face is very red.

" Are you okay, dude?"

" Yes, my life is going perfect right now thank you"

Mr. Nermal stands up and walks to the front of the class next to a short girl that looks kind of familiar.

" Now before we start today's lesson, I'd like to introduce you to our new friend Willow."

Elias starts going crazy in his mind.

" NO WAY, IT'S HER!!!! SHES BACK, MAYBE I CAN WIN HER BACK, AND ZACH WAS RIGHT!!! SHE'S MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN I REMEMBER!!!!!"

" Now, class, there may be some bad people that want to hurt her unfortunately, so I want you all to look out for her. Especially you, Elias, with those self-defense classes you take. So there is an empty seat next to Elias you can sit in. Are you okay with that?"

" Of cou-"

" That's fine Mr. Nermal. I'd like to sit in the back where it's quiet if that's okay."

" Welp, this is going great." Elias said in his mind.

After class Elias goes up to Willow to talk to her.

" Willow, it's really great to see you again."

" Don't talk to me, Elias."

" Look, I know a lot happened two years ago, but we were really good friends, and I want to try to at least be that again."

Willow sighs, and says " Fine, meet me at our usual spot outside the cafeteria after school at 3:15. Got it?"

" Guess I'll see you then."

" Yes, I guess you will."

They both walk away to their next hour. They end up having all but 2nd hour together and they sit next to each other in most of them. They also haven't said a word since this morning.

Elias says to himself " Well, this is going great, but hey we got a year and a quarter. A lot can happen in that amount of time. A lot can happen."
