Hello all! So this chapter was meant to be put 2 weeks ago... but Wattpad decided that the first time I wrote this wasn't good enough so it DELETED IT!!!! 😤😣😖😭

Really sorry for the delays. Exams are coming but after me and Wattpad are gonna have lots of fun writing lots of chapters!!!

Ash's POV

The ground shook aggressively. A sudden powerful and loud earth erupting sound shattered the music and knocking everyone off their feet and onto the vibrating floor.

Screams of terror and fear filled the room.

My brain and heart raced at a million miles an hour as my first instincts found me pulling my dance partner and girlfriend against me to protect her. But the force of this sudden outburst of power knocked me off my feet, taking both me and Serena to the floor.

luckily and unluckily I acted as a pillow for her soft landing.

Her sudden jolt of fear was a sound that I never wanted to hear, but my mind was too occupied and confused to focus on that as the terror of the other party guest filled my ears.

Adrenaline ran through me faster the ever. My body had gone completely into survival mode.

But as sudden as the rumbling and shaking started it finished. Leaving nothing but silence to fill the inertia of Lumious Tower. Party decorations and food scraps littered the ground as if an earth quake had just occurred. And that was exactly my state of mind.

"A-Ash..." A soft voice seemed to calm me as I turned my head to the girl who was still laying on top of me from the fall.

My eyes met hers but my body still flooded with adrenaline which made my heart beat feel like it was gonna explode. Causing my concentration to fluster and blur.

"Ash. Are you alright?" I her more voices say as I watch Serena get assisted off me by Dawn. Embracing her in a hug.

"Ashy-Boy! Stop slacking around!" I hear the joking voice of Gary who's hand came into vision to help me up.

I knew what was happening and what he was doing. But my actions were slow and fragile. My eyes fixed on his hand for seconds before my hand could actually follow my brains command to take a hold of it.

Serena's POV

The conferring embrace of Dawn helped my heart and thoughts to calm.

'What in the name of Arceus just happened?!' Was all that my brain could focus on as I'm sure most people were probably thinking the same.

Looking over Dawn's shoulder, still in the hug, I saw people and Pokémon scattered all over the ground. They didn't look like they were severely hurt or injured which was good. But the sight of it was hard to look at.

Ash didn't look too good either. Which is hard to accomplish considering its Ash. But he looked beaten and shocked though he did just have me fall on him so he may have become winded from the impact.

"CLEMONT WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Bonnie's voice shouted through the air.

My focus shifted to her then to Clemont who was helping a girl with roller skates and a white helmet to her feet which I found to be rather unusual fashion style given what everyone else was wearing.

"I didn't do anything. This wasn't me." He replied with confusion striking his tone.

"NO! What invention did you blow up now?!" She accused, clearly not liking the response of her older brother. But surly Clemont's tendency to have his inventions blow up wasn't the cause of all this? Right?

"Bonnie..." I hear Ash's voice say subtly as I notice him with one arm around Gary's shoulder to support him on his own two feet.

"Clemont couldn't have caused all this. He was here with us partying." He continued to say. His argument clearly winning this debate and ruling out the possibility of Clemont's inventions being the cause.

But ultimately that only raised more questions to be answered.

"Then what did?" May and Dawn say at the exact same time.

We all looked at each other. The blank looks on everyone's faces was clear no one had a clue as to what had just happened.

The mystery was a worry. A worry that was now a fear.

"Wait... Where's Pikachu?" Ash says braking the silence as he removes himself from the support of Gary and standing upright as if nothing was wrong.

Once again we looked at each other and no one spoke. Which I could see made the worry grow more and more for Ash.

"I'm sure he's fine. He's one strong Pokémon." I say to try and reassure him while placing one hand on his shoulders.

His head bowed. Worry and concern for his best buddy filling his eyes.

"Last time I saw him he was with Dedenne." Bonnie says, her word lifting Ash's head slightly so his eyes faced her.

"You mean that little, orange Pokémon that's asleep where the food is?" Paul speaks pointing to a sleeping Dedenne with no sight of Pikachu anywhere.

"DEDENNE!?" Bonnie yelled. Through it was hard to tell if it was a yell out of care for her Pokémon or the a yell of anger.

But despite Bonnie's yell the small electric mouse slept with no care in the world.

'Did Dedenne sleep through all of that?' I asked myself subconsciously as we all made our way over to him. The smile plastered on Dedenne's as it slept would suggest he did along with the sleep bubble that expanded with its silent snores.

"DEDENNE WAKE UP!" Bonnie yelled once again, picking up the sleeping Pokémon and shaking it to wake it up.

But her efforts were unsuccessful.

"You sure that's not just a really really small Snorlax?" Gary questioned which earned the glare and pout of Bonnie.

"Bonnie." Clemont spoke. His glasses hiding his eyes before readjusting them to reveal them which I had to admit made him look really smart.

"You need to wake Dedenne up." He continued.

"Why?" Misty joined the conservation randomly by saying.

"Because. Dedenne is exactly what we need to find Pikachu."

Those words caught everyone by surprise. Including Paul who had a bit of a confused look on his face which was rare. Then again it is rare to see any emotion on his face.

"How is Deendeen gonna help us find Pikachu?" Iris ask, but her mispronunciation of Dedenne's name cause laughter for the boys.

And I guess the sleeping Dedenne mustn't have appreciated having its name said incorrectly. Because as soon as Bonnie corrected her the sleeping Pokémon shot up from its slumber like a bullet and launched itself onto Iris face, nuzzling on her cheeks creating sparks to ignite which was followed by the screams of Iris as Dedenne's Nuzzle attack punished her for her offence.

"Well that certainly one way to wake up a Pokémon." May said trying to steady her laughter which was hard. Even the sudden attack from Dedenne had got a giggle out of me. While Iris stood dumbfounded with her hair still having bolts of electricity in it.

Ash's POV

All this comedic waste of time was starting to annoy me.

Yet a laugh or smirk did escape my feudal attempts to keep a straight and serious face, but the worry I felt build up inside me was too overpowering to give any more then the response I gave.

Though my hopes rested in Clemont and his idea of using Dedenne to locate Pikachu through his electricity. As he explained I started to feel a sense of ease. It might have been the plan creating hope within me or the warm feeling of Serena's hand in mine as we walked together, following behind Clemont and Bonnie who lead the way with Dedenne running ahead to lead the way.

Sparks admitted from the small, orange Pokémon's cheeks, causing Dedenne to come to a hold as he gathered a sense of where to go.

"Don't worry Ash. Pikachu will be alright. We will find him. No doubt about it!" Serena said as we came to a stop and waited for Dedenne to pick up Pikachu's electricity. Her small, reassuring smile was confuting. A feeling I needed to just relax. I don't know what I'd do without her.

Eventually it appeared that Dedenne was onto something. Dashing off before anyone had anytime to react. Running straight to the back door leaving everyone awestruck at his surprising speeds.

"Definitely not a very small Snorlax..." Gary said jokingly under his breath just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Of course he isn't!" Bonnie replies proudly as she initiates the chase after the lightning fast Dedenne by running ahead of the group.

A wave of excitement arose within me. My already small smile created by Serena was now a my normal grin filled with energy and enthusiasm.

"Well lets go!" I say excited as I run ahead, forgetting my hands are still intertwined with Serena's as I dash away from the group after Bonnie, up catching her off guard and resulting in me leaving her to barley stay on her own to feet to keep up with me.

"ASH!" She said with a giggle at the end. "I cant run in this dress" she added followed by more of her ear pleasing giggles.

"Gotta keep up!" I reply looking back at her and grinning. A small tint of pink making itself visible on her cheeks as we reach the exit that Dedenne and Bonnie had ran out of.

A set of stairs awaited our arrival. My head titled all the up to get a grasp of the size up the stairs which seemed to never end. Layers upon layers of stairs spiralled upwards making my head spin.

'Pikachu's all the way up there?' I questioned myself in my head as I lowered it to the first step. Staring it down as if it were my enemy.

"Looks like Bonnie won." Serena says suddenly with a giggle, my attention turning to her to find her arm extended upwards pointing to Bonnie who was already climbing the stairs.

Her giggle earns a small laugh from me with a subtle shake of my head at her humour.

"Well lets go then, if Pikachu is up there then that's where we got to go." I say with determination, removing my hands from Serena's as I place my foot on the first step. An action that will be required to be replicated many more times to come. With Serena following behind me, we began what I completed with regret would be one hell of a climb

Gary's POV

"Should we follow?" Misty asks. Her somewhat appealing eyes roll over to the direction of that of the exit door Ash and Serena had just zoomed off into.

"Knowing Ashy-boy he will be perfectly fine. Plus. I bet that door goes out to a nice ally way" I respond jokingly and smirk. Which immediately got a reaction for Misty who put every bit of force and power she had into her hand and arm, slapping me right across the cheek.

BOOM!!!!

Just as Misty's slap of fury made contact with my poor innocent face a loud and ear piercing explosion like sound erupted unexpectedly, the once brightly lit party room was suddenly consumed by grey smoke causing each of us to react in the exact same fashion by covering our faces with our hands as we wait shocked and utterly befuddled.

Miette's POV

The loud boom rung in my ears like a train zooming past you at extraordinary speeds. The fact of not even being near where the action is taking place didn't impact or soften the impact of the blasts impact on my precious ears.

"Geez. Do they really need to be so loud?" I mumbled under my breath while rolling my eyes as instead of the loud explosion filling my ears, the sound of sirens sounds on cue.

Lights of red and blue became visible and filled the streets. A grin formed on my face as I took a hold of my pokeball and threw it up in the air and caught it in its descent in the exact same hand.

"Another simple easy and job once again." I say confidently as I threw my pokeball out and called out to it.

"Slurpuf it's time to shine!"

On command the pokeball bursts open in stunning grace, white light erupting from within the red and white sphere and placing itself on the road as the sirens grew louder and louder as they drew closer and closer.

The small, fluffy, pink and white, Pokemon stood tall and awaited my command.

"Lets gets this over and down with Slurpuff. I have better things to do then deal with this." I say as I begin to think of the best way to accomplish my given task.

"Hmm, alright. Let's blow these guys away. Fairy wind!" I command. My hand gritted tightly into a fist as I punch forward with energy, enthusiasm and power in my voice.

Slurpuf nodded, acknowledging its instructions as he jumps into the air. A red glowing light emitted from his chest which caused the grin to widen. Light pink sparkles surrounding his body, swiftly turning into wind as Slurpuf directed the attack at the incoming police that raced towards the small Pokémon.

The pink wind swooped up every single police vehicle with ease. Tossing them into the air and disposing of them as they helpless flew across the evening sky and out of vision.

"Great work Slurpuf, now use Fairy Wind one more time except let's make sure that no one is able to get anywhere near Luminous Tower." I say as I walk over to Slurpuf and pat his head to reward him. My eyes diverting to the necklace he worse with a red crystal dangling by it.

Slurpuf nodded and once again prepared the attack. This time staying flat footed as he raised his arms into the air. The pink, sparkly wind orbited his body before the red crystal began to glow. A red light emitted from his body before Slurpuf released his attack. A powerful outburst of power sent his attack up into the air and outwards. A tornado of his Fairy Wind attack surrounded and cut off Luminous Tower as planned.

"Your move Ash." I say to myself as I look back at Luminous Tower. Slurpuf's Fairy Wind swirling behind it. That battlefield has been set.

Phew, finally done! This chapter was a real pain to write.... *cough* Thanks Wattpad *cough*
