Sorry guys that I didn't update yesterday. But I had my brothers birthday as well as Australia Day so I was a very busy and wasn't able to update. But I am updating now so that is all that counts!

Serena's POV

My eyes fill heavy and my body rather warm. I slowly open my eyes, only to gaze upon the bare chest of Ash that my head was resting on while my arms were wrapped around his body, cuddling him for warmth as my body was pressed tightly against his.

My cheeks began to heat up as I come to realise where I was and what I was doing. My body began to shake a little through nerves and disbelieve as memory of last night appear in my head causing me to hesitantly look down to confirm to myself that is indeed real.

I lifted up the bed sheets and my eyes gazed upon both of our naked bodies causing my face to go even redder.

'OMA!' I shout in my head while putting the sheets of the bed back down and shifting my sight up towards Ash who was sleeping peacefully with one arm wrapped around my waist and a small smile plastered on his face.

'Oh. My. Arceus! I-I actually slept w-with him.' I think to myself, not angry, sad or even disappointed but rather happy and glad at the event as memory of the amount of pleasure and love Ash had given me filled my head making me smile.

I didn't want to move from my position, I didn't want to leave his side, his warmth, his safety, his love. Everything about him made my heart melt. I placed my head back down on his bare chest and closed my eyes once again, snuggling against him as I never wanted to move nor did I want this moment to end as I soon began to fall back asleep with a wide smile not only on my face but also on my heart.

Ash's POV

*Beep *Beep *Beep *Beep

The sound of my alarm clock interrupted my dream, bringing me to a vision of nothing but black. I felt something moving beside me then the sound of the alarm clock stoped. Knowing from past experiences it was probably Pikachu. Normally if I didn't wake up from my alarm clock then my second alarm, aka: Pikachu's Thunderbolt, would then wake me up.

Upon realising what might be happening I quickly opened my eyes, shooting myself up while saying "Pikachu I'm up!" As I did so.

I quickly noticed that Pikachu wasn't present within the room as I my eyes landed on Serena, who look in shock and a bit scared as she covered herself with the bedsheets which I thought was strange until memory of last night became immanent in my mind.

I felt my a weird feeling arise in my stomach and my face begin to heat up as my heart began to beat faster while my gaze was still upon Serena who I now realise was holding the bedsheets over her because she was probably still naked.

A feeling of guilt and sadness filled me as I realised that I had frightened her when I unexpectedly shot up from the bed. I could tell but the look in her eyes that she was afraid. She must have been leaning over me to turn the alarm off when I jumped up out of my sleep, probably giving her a heart attack at the same time.

"Serena. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." I say to her while putting my arms around her shaking body, giving her a hug to show that I didn't mean to scare her. Her body was still shaking as I hugged her. Obviously she didn't hug back because she couldn't move her hands without letting go of the bedsheets which if she did would reveal her naked chest.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were Pikachu." I said as I released her from the hug and just stared into her scared eyes. I felt really bad for scaring her, she seemed so fragile at the moment as if the slightest touch could shatter her into a million pieces.

Serena's body soon began to calm down as she was probably gaining some control of herself.

"I-It's ok Ash. I-I just w-wasn't expecting it." She said still with a bit of fear in her voice.

"I'm sorry. It is just if I don't get up after when my alarm goes off Pikachu then comes and he wakes me up with one of his Thunderbolts. So when I heard the alarm stop I thought it was Pikachu getting ready to shock me." I explained while scratching the back of my head in embarrassment.

Serena giggled at my explanation making my heart beat faster as I watched her smile much to my delight.

"Well don't w-worry. I-if I have to get y-you up it would be a lot s-sweeter." She said, giving me a wink which I thought was very uncharacteristic of her but I was also glad to see her in such a good mood.

"ASH! SERENA! HURRY UP BREAKFAST IS READY!" My mothers voice fills my room causing Serena to let out another giggle whereas I was a bit worried. 'How did she know that Serena was here? NO! She didn't see us sleeping together did she?' I begin to ask myself worried that I am about to receive the teasing of my life.

"Uummm. Ash? C-can have the bathroom first?" Serena asks me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sure. Go right ahead." I say happily. I was about to go and get Serena a towel or her cloths so that she would have to leave the bed naked but she got out of the bed, picked her cloths up and went into the bathroom while walking around my bedroom completely naked. As she was walking towards the bathroom she gave me a cheeky wink before closing the bathroom door leaving me completely dumbfounded.

After Serena was done with the bathroom I then had a shower, got dressed into my usual clothing, then brushed my teeth and headed down stairs for breakfast only to see my Mum and Pikachu eating breakfast while Serena was playing with her food though and looked a little red in the face.

"Hey sweetie." Mum said causing the spotlight to be pointed directly at me. "I left a bowl for you on the bench." She stated. I grabbed my bowl of cereal and sat next to Serena who was still playing with her food while Mum and Pikachu gave me a weird smirk.

"So did you two get a good night sleep?" Mum asks as I began to eat my breakfast. I gave a quick glance over to Serena who seemed to be very uncomfortable with this situation.

"Yes Mum, we slept fine." I responded after I swallowed what was in my mouth. I noticed Serena's lower her head even more while dropping her spoon into her bowl of cereal which looked untouched making me worry that she was back to not eating again.

"Serena? Are you ok? Your not eating." I ask out of concern because I didn't want her revert back to not eating anything as she was going so well.

Serena didn't answer me and just continued to stare blankly at her food.

Now I was really worried. Something had to up for her to suddenly stop eating again then ignore me.

"Serena?" I said her name hoping to get a response but nothing. She seemed to be in a whole different world.

"She has been like this every since I asked her if she was ready for school." Mum stated with a look of worry in her eyes.

'Could that be why she is like this? But why? Calem hasn't been bothering her according to Pikachu, well except for that one time, according to Pikachu Calem whispered something in her ear but other than that he never bothered her at all.' I began to think if school could be the reason for this sudden change in behaviour.

"Serena. If it is about Calem don't worry I won't let him hurt you." I said, putting one hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her.

"I know... I-its you I'm w-worried about." She finally spoke while turning her head up to face me with water in her eyes.

My heart began to beat a little bit faster at what she said. 'Could Calem be planning some sort of payback for beating him?' I question while staring into Serena's teary eyes. They were filled with fear, not the same fear that I saw when I accidently scared her. No. This was real fear. The type of fear that haunts you, the type of fear that scars you, the type of fear that can tear a person apart.

"What do you mean?" I ask her. Just from looking at her eyes I could tell it was bad but I wanted to know, I needed to comfort her, I don't care if I'm in danger she is all that matters to me.

"C-Calem... he... he is w-waiting for you." She responded with both sadness and fear filling he voice. The name alone filled me with rage. 'But what exactly did he want?' I ask myself while embracing Serena in a hug of comfort as she cried into my blue jacket.

Both my Mum and Pikachu watched on with concern filling the faces. I could tell that they wanted to nothing but tease Serena about I about sleeping together but it ended up being the complete opposite of what they had planned.

I gave a quick look over towards my best buddy who looked worried, scared and angry all at the same time while little sparks of electricity came from his cheeks.

"Pikachu? Can I speak to you in the other room?" I ask while breaking the hug with Serena and let her sit back in her chair as both me and Pikachu exited the room.

"Pika?" He asked, sounding confused.

"Pikachu. I need you to promise me something." I begin to say, knowing that is I could count on anyone to keep this promise it was him.

"No matter what happens I need you to promise me that you will protect Serena." I state while placing my hands on his tiny shoulder to show him that I am really serious about this.

"Pika Pi." He responded with determination in his eyes. He could tell that Serena means a lot to me and that's why he didn't need to ask me why nor protest against me.

We both returned to the table with smiles on our faces to try and lighten the mood but Serena was still scared and Mum look really worried.

Pikachu jumped up onto Serena's shoulders causing her to flinch before he rubbed his cheeks against hers to try and make her feel better. It seemed to work, Serena patted him while her frown slowly seem to fade.

'That's right. Serena doesn't have a Pokémon does she?' I think to myself before coming up with a way to make her smile.

Pikachu jumped off her shoulder onto the table then pushed her bowl of cereal a little closer towards her as to say that she could eat.

"He is right you know." I say while sitting back down in my seat and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"You should eat up. It is no fun receiving you first Pokémon on an empty stomach. Trust me I know." I say, trying to hit to her what I have planned while memories of the day I first meet Pikachu flooded my mind. I remember waking up late and skipping breakfast because I was so excited to receive my starter.

Serena's eyes began to sparkle as she looked at me in disbelieve but also excitement.

"Really?" She responds with joy filling her face.

"Yeah, you haven't gotten a Pokémon yet and I think that you would really enjoy having a partner." I explain while giving her a toothy grin.

Serena immediately shot up from her chair and launched herself at me, embracing me in a tight hug as all memory of Calem seemed to vanish.

"Aw. Look at you two, your so cute together." Mum began to tease causing me to roll my eyes while Serena broke the hug and stared at me looking a bit embarrassed.

"You should tell her, it will be funny." She whispers into my ear.

I gave her a small grin, while the thought of my mothers reaction appeared in my head and I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as Serena giggled.

"What's so funny you two?" Mum asks while giving us the 'you look guilty' look.

"Oh nothing... just funny to think about your reaction." I began to say while Serena began to giggle again which I found rather cute.

"My reaction to what?" She responds just like how I knew she would. So now the moment of truth.

"Your reaction to how me and Serena are now dating." I said with a wide smile before leaning over to Serena a giving her a kiss on the head causing her to blush a little.

My mother looked at us with her jaw slightly dropped as she looked at us in amazement, Pikachu didn't have the same reaction as he already knew that Serena meant a lot to me and probably presumed that something happened between us already.

"Your dating! Oh my ARCEUS! My little boy is finally growing up!" She shouted in excitement while jumping up out of her seat and moved to the other side of the table and gave us both a big hug.

Serena and I looked at each other before we both chuckled at her reaction.

My Mum let us go but still had a very happy look on her face. "I would love to hear all about how you two got together but it is time for you to go." She said while handing me my backpack. We said goodbye to Mum then headed out the door.

Me, Serena and Pikachu began our walk towards the school. Serena looked excited for once to go to school as did Pikachu. Though I was happy I still had the unsettling feeling about Calem lurking around my mind.

'Whatever you are planning Calem I won't let you hurt us.' I think to myself, clenching my hands into fists in anger before Serena noticed and placed her soft hand onto my fist to calm me down.

"Please don't worry." Serena stated with a look of concern.

"Don't worry Serena, whatever he has planned we will face it together." I said confidently while taking a hold of her hand as we continued to walk towards the school.

Ooooo. What does Calem have planned?
I know most of your are probably like: "NNOO CALEM STAY THE F**k AWAY FROM THEM!"
And: "IF ASH AND SERENA BREAK UP BUSES WILL BE THROWN!"
Hehe, but calm yourselves people!
