Hehe, hey guys! As most of you probably saw I didn't update yesterday!!!!!!!!😅

"OMA HE DIDN'T UPDATE! HOW DARE HE MISS NOT 1 BUT 2 DAYS OF NOT UPDATING! QUICK GET THE WEAPONS HE MUST PAY!"😡👿😈🤡

*Swiftly doges angry crowds throwing weapons*

Ok... now that that is out of the way here is the next Chapter.

Serena's POV

"ASH! WAIT UP!" I yell while helplessly watching the energetic boy run up the grassy hill as I run after him to try and catch up, but I was slower than him meaning that he beat me to the top and just waited for me with a playful grin on his face.

"Took your time didn't you?" Ash says teasingly as he walks over and takes a seat at the base of a beautiful tree. I finally get to the top of the hill and put my hands on my knees and begin panting as my heart beated faster and my breaths became more frequent.

"I'm... just... not use... to running." I manage to reply in between my heavy breathing.

Eventually I am able to regain my breath and start to beath normally again, though my heart still beated rather fast which seems to always happen when I am with Ash.

I lift my head up with both my hands still on my knees and my back arched over. But when I look up I don't see Ash, I don't see the tree, and when I look back down I don't see the top of the grassy hill that I was just on. I look around to see where I am, but saw nothing but an empty, dark void.

"H-Hello? Ash? What ever game you are playing it isn't funny." I say out into the void, hoping that some how this was all just a game but I didn't get a response.

Loneliness, fear, regret. All these emotions took control of me causing me to collapse onto the ground as all my happiness that I felt with Ash disappeared leaving nothing but pain behind.

"It hurts doesn't it?" I hear a voice come from right in front of me. I weakly look up and only find Ash standing there looking down on me as if I was nothing. There was happiness in his eyes only disappointment and anger.

"A-Ash..." I say before being cut off by him.

"Save it Serena. You are nothing to me anymore." His words hit me hard as I felt my heart being ripped to shreds and heartbroken tears begin to fill my eyes as I watch Ash begin to walk away.

"Ash... Ash please...PLEASE DON'T GO!" I yell while still on me knees and reaching out for him with tears running down my face, but he just kept walking away until he disappeared into the dark void leaving me alone and heartbroken.

Ash's POV

As I begin to sit up after waking up I felt something pressed against my body. I turn my head to see a sleeping Serena with her cute smile visible on her face. She was sleeping peacefully with her head pressed against my chest and her arms wrapped around me and my arms wrapped around her waist. I was a bit confused at first but quickly remembered yesterdays events.

'Wow, I can't believe that Serena was that girl that I helped at summer camp.' I begin to think to myself before the memory started to play in my head.

I felt a smile form on my face while the memory played but was cut off when I heard my phone go off.

I look over at my phone, which was on my desk, and I could tell that I had recieved a text from somebody. I slowly and carfully unwrapped myself from Serena's grip and rested her head gentily onto the pillow so that I didn't wake her and headed over to my phone and read the text which was from... Gary?

Gary: Ashy-boy? You there?

Gary: I know your there. You are not in you recover sleep again after I whooped your ass yesterday are you? 😎

'Yep definately Gary.' I think to myself before unlocking my phone and responding to his annoying text.

Ash: Yes Gary I'm here. And no I wasn't in recovery sleep I was just in normal asleep.

Gary: Then why did it take you so long to answer!

Ash: Oh well I had to get Serena off me without waking her which took some time.

Gary: WHAT!!! THE DENSE ROCK ASH KETCHUM SLEPT WITH A GIRL BEFORE ME! ME THE ALL FAMOUS GARK F***ING OAK!

Ash: Well maybe you arn't as attractive as you think you are.😂

Gary: Well congrats. The dense rock got layed.

Ash WHAT! NO NO NO! WE DIDN'T DO THAT! We just shared a bed!😳

Gary: Sure you did😏

Ash: Why did you text me anyways?

Gary: Don't change the subject Ashy-boy, I want details😏

Ash: GARY!

Gary: Okay fine, but you arn't getting off that easy.😒

Gary: I wanted to invite you over to my house. The rest of the gang is going to be there and we are all just going to hang.

Ash: Sure, I'll be there. Can you send me the adress and can I also bring Serena?

Gary: Sure thing and please do.😈

Gary: 56- Pichu drive

Ash: Okay, thanks Gary see you soon.

I put my phone back down onto the desk and was about to go take a shower and get dressed so that I was ready to go when Serena got up. But those plans quickly changed when I heard Serena say something in her sleep, but it was too quiet to hear so I walked back over to the bed only to see a sweating Serena who's smile had been replaced with an unpleasnt frown.

"Ash... Ash..." She says softly while her body seemed to tense up as she said my name. At first I was a bit flattered that she was dreaming about me but that quickly changed as I came to figure out that she was having a nightmare.

"Ash please... please don't go." She spoke again. But this time her words had sadness in them casuing me to become even more consernd as to why she would ever think that I would leave her.

I begin to shake her gentily to get her to wake up while also saying her name in a soft and comforting tone. But she didn't wake up from her nightmare so I desided to shake her a bit harder but still no dice. I began to think about the best way to wake her up without harming her. I did think of using Pikachu's Thunderbolt because it always seems to wake me up but quickly ruled out that idea as I didn't want to harm her.

Suddenly an idea poped into my head causing me to remember how she woke me up from my sleep. I felt my face flare up at the thought but I believed that it would work.

I placed my hands on Serena's cheeks and turned her face to that it was facing upwards and leaned over a pressed my lips against her sleeping ones and kissed her softly until I felt her body relax a little and her lips begin to move.

I pulled back from the kiss but still kept my face rather close to hers as I watch her open her eyes. Her eyes and tears filled in them. 'Probably from the nightmare she had.' I concluded while I stared into her crystal-blue eyes.

"Ash...?" she spoke while her lips slightly quivered as she most likely realised that it was all just a dream.

"Don't worry Serena, I'm here and I am never going to leave you." I say softly while I press my lips against hers again and then before giving her time to kiss back I drew back and gave her a conforting hug.

Serena was quick to hug back, placing her head into my chest but she was still holding back her tears which I thought was a sign that showed that she is getting better.

I soon pulled out of the hug and placed my hand on her shoulders.

"Feeling better?" I ask while looking into her eyes and noticing that the tears were just about gone.

"Y-yes, thanks to you." She responds while giving me a reasuring smile.

I was reliefed that she was feeling better but curriosity still filled me at what she was dreaming about so I decided to ask, fully awear that it may cause her to get upset again so I was ready for that.

"Serena. If you don't mind me asking, what were you dreaming about?" I ask her. As soon as the words leave my mouth I could already sense some discomfort for her as her smile slwoly faded as she was most likely recalling the dream.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't wan-" I began to say before being cut off my Serena hugging me tightly. Before I could hug back she releases me from her hug.

"I-it's ok. I-I want to t-tell you." She begins to say while placing her hands onto her lap while she gripped her cloths.

"I-I had a dream that... you and me where out on a-a d-date... we were running up a hill, you beat me to the top of course. But when I got to the top of the hill everything d-disappeared. I-I was trapped in a d-dark void. I-I was alone, scared and... w-weak." She explained as tears began to fill her eyes. I felt nothing but sympothy for her, though her dream started of nice it seemed to rapidly take a turn for the worse which made me curious.

"S-soon you appeared though a-and I though I was s-safe. B-but you told me that I was n-nothing to you anymore and l-left me there." She finished while quickly placing both her hands over her eyes and turned her body so that I couldn't see her face.

"Serena... you know itt was all just a nightmare right? I would never leave you." I say trying to comfort her.

"I-I know... b-but what if y-you stop loving me? W-what if y-you begin to h-hate me?" she asked with nothing but pain and sadness in her voice. Her words struck me hard. The thought of hating Serena or the opposite way around put a knife right through my heart.

"Serena. I would never do that. There is nothing that you could ever do that would get me to hate you or stop loving you." I say kind of sounding like my Mother when I was a child.

"R-really?" She asks, turning around so that she was facing me once again.

I leaned towards her and pressed my lips against hers as my body follows, repositioning itself closer to Serena's.

Serena flinched when my lips made contact with hers but she soon returned the kiss and we began to kiss passionatly while I vanquished all of Serena's doubts and fears as I showed her just how much she means to me and just how much I love her.

We eventually pull out of the kiss becuase of a need for air. I could feel Serena's heavy breath against my face as I did so, keeping my face close to hers as I stared into her sparkling eyes.

"Does that answer your question?" I say sarcastically, knowing that she can rest easy knowing that I love her. She nods her head and bit her lip as she did so.

"Serena? I have a question that I believe needs the be asked." I say to her moving my face away from hers so that I can see her whole body and not just her face.

"Uummm... w-what is it?" She responds with worry in her tone but I know this question may be the complete opposite of what she might be thinking.

"Serena? Will you be my g-girlfriend?" I say, slightly stumbling over the last word but manage to say it. It took her a while to comprehend what was happening but soon her blank expression soon turned into a shoked one as she place both her hands over her mouth.

"Yes... yes! YES! I'll would l-love to be your girlfriend!" She says joyfully while jumping up onto me and planting kisses all over my face while all I could do way lye on the bed helplessly as she did so. Serena finished of with one big kiss which I could return.

'I have never seen her like that before. She seemed so energetic, happy, full of life.' I think to myself as I marvel at Serena's sudden change in personality while deepening the kiss between us.

We contiuned to kiss happily without a worry in the world until Serena broke the kiss and before I could even open my eyes she hand began to hug me while lying on top of me with her head pressed firmly against my chest.

"Thank you Ash, thank you for caring about me, thank you for being there for me, thank you for loving me." She thanks me but I didn't see a need for her thanks but I gladly accepted it and placed my arms around her waist and hugged her back.
