No one's POV

Pidgeot flew gracefully and softly through the air just as Ash had requested it did so that Serena wouldn't be to shaken by what they were doing. Serena's grip on Ash's waist slightly loosened as she became more comfortable and use to being in the air, but she was still a little frightened by this new experience.

"A-Ash? H-how much longer?" Serena asks while still clenching her eyes shut, not wanting to look down to see how high they were.

"Don't worry Serena, we are almost there." Ash replied, then turning his head around to see how Serena was doing only to see how scared she actually look which made Ash determined to show her that there was nothing to be afraid of.

"You know Serena, you can't see all the great views with your eyes closed." Ash said playfully, wanting to try to get Serena to face her fears and open her eyes. Of course Ash wasn't lying though the view from up there was very beautiful and he wanted to share it with her.

"I-I can't..." Serena responded while tightening her rip on Ash's waist and pushed her head harder against his back.

"Its okay Serena, I won't let anything bad happen to you." Ash says in a comforting voice to show Serena that it is safe for her to open her eyes.

Serena was hesitant to open her eyes but she felt that she could trust Ash with her life and slowly began to open her eyes while maintaining her tight grip.

Her eyes were now fully open, though she kept telling herself to not down in her mind but unfortunately curiosity got the better of her and she looked down any her eyes found that all she could see was the white, fluffy clouds only about a meter below her which made her feel like she wasn't that high.

Serena was in awe as she stared down at the clouds below her and slightly smiled which Ash got a glimpse of when he look to see how she was doing out of the corner of his eye. Seeing Serena smile like that made Ash's heart beat a little faster and his own smile grow.

"Want to touch the clouds?" Ash asked wanting to make this experience more enjoyable for Serena.

Serena shifted her eyes while her head stayed pressed against his back so that she could see Ash, who was looking over his shoulder with Pikachu on his lap enjoying the ride. Serena gave Ash a shy nod to say that she would like to touch the clouds while all the fear she once had stored up in her seemed to just disappear.

"Alright Pidgeot, can you slowly descend so that we are slightly in the clouds?" Ash asks the light brown, bird Pokémon who turn his head back, flying blind temporarily to give Ash a nob in agreement.

Pidgeot descended until almost all of his body was inside the cloud so that his riders were sitting slightly in the clouds.

"Pika!" Pikachu said joyfully while he lowered his tale down into the cloud to show Serena that they were ok to touch and that it was fun.

Serena watched Pikachu have fun with the clouds, moving his tale in a zip zag motion causing the white clouds to move apart slightly as his tale flew through the clouds.

Serena decided to do what Pikachu was doing and while slightly loosening her grip around Ash, lowered her hand down into the soft, white clouds. Once her hand was fully surrounded by cloud, she could feel a bit of moisture on her hand as her hand left a trail behind her of where her hand had travelled through the clouds.

"Wow..." Was all Serena could say as she prosed what exactly she was doing which was riding a Pokémon in that air and touching clouds with her bare hands. That thought brought a smile upon her face as she took her hand out of the clouds and placed it back around Ash's waist while she continued to stare at the large, white cloud in amazement with her head still against Ash's back.

After a little while more of flying they eventually arrived at Lumiose City, Ash told Pidgeot to start is slow descend so that Serena stayed happy and fear free. When they landed Ash hoped of first with Pikachu following, jumping onto his Trainers shoulders like always. Ash then helped Serena down onto the ground. Serena thanked him the walked over to Pidgeot's face and patted its head and thank him also.

Ash returned Pidgeot into his pokeball so that he could have enough strength to fly them home when they were done.

Because they landed in a Pokémon park there was a few people and Pokémon who watched Pidgeot land and watched Ash and Serena get off him which had caused attention to be drawn to the two.

"A-Ash... w-why are p-people staring at us?" Serena asked shyly while moving herself behind Ash to hide herself from the people watching them.

"Don't worry about it. Come on lets go. I hear that Lumiose City has some great shopping places." Ash said which made Serena's eyes widen at the word shopping. Though Serena had never actually been shopping as she was to shy and scared of people to go anywhere where there would be crowds.

"R-really? B-but d-don't you hate shopping?" Serena asked. Although she hadn't been shopping she did know that apparently boys are meant to hate it.

"Well yes, I'm not a fan of it but, I know it will make you happy so that is what we are going to do." Ash answered, giving Serena a toothy grin.

"R-really? You w-would do that f-for me?" Serena asked, not use to people being this nice to her.

"Yep! It makes me happy to see you happy. And today I am going to make you the happiest person on Earth!" Ash said with determination in his voice as he fist pumped along with Pikachu causing Serena to let out a small giggle.

"Well come then! Letz go!" Ash says, grabbing Serena's hand and began to run while dragging a blushing Serena behind him.

Ash's POV

I continue to run while holing Serena's hand, dragging her behind me. We reach the part of the city where all of the shopping stores and malls are. And as I look around at all of them I knew that we may be here for a while knowing that Serena is most likely going to want to look in every store if she is anything like my other female friends.

'But I'm doing this so that she will be happy!' I remind myself as I stop running and look back to see a puffing Serena.

"Ash... you... run... too... fast." She manages to say while puffing in-between every word.

"Haha whoops, sorry Serena. I guess I got a bit carried away." I say, letting go of her hand and rubbing the back of my head in embarrassment. Though a part of me wanted to continue hold her hand I felt that she needed some space to catch her breath.

"So Serena? Which shop do you wanna go to first?" I ask her after I see that she has regain her breath.

"Uuummm... c-could we go to the c-cloths shop please." She says a bit shyly while looking around at all the shops.

"Sure!" "Pika!" Pikachu and I say, though part of me had already guessed that, that is where she would have wanted to go.

Serena gave me a big grin in appreciation as she then grabbed my hand this time and started to drag me into a one of the cloths shops.

"Well, talk about turning the table. Right Pikachu?" I say to Pikachu in a bit of shock that Serena was now dragging me. But she wasn't strong enough to pull me alone but strong enough to make me follow her into the store.

"Pikachu." Pikachu responded while sweat dropping.

Serena headed to the back of the store where there was one changing booth. "A-Ash? C-could you judge the cloths I wear?" She asks with a smile on her face and a glimmering sparkle in her eyes.

"Of course! But you know I think you will look good not matter what you wear right?" I respond without thinking and just let my words out which caused me to feel my cheeks heat up a bit which I didn't understand why.

"Th-thank you Ash." She said with a shade up red appearing on her cheeks as her face looked rather flattered at what I just said.

"Uummm, w-wait here. I will go get some dresses to try on." Serena said walking off into the store only to return with multiple clothing items in her arms as she headed into the changing booth to try them on.

Serena soo came back out wearing one of the dresses and I could help but stare at how beautiful she looked in it. Though she did seem rather shy as she walk out of the changing booth, but she soon looked at me with a bit of shyness.

"H-how do I-I look? She said nervously.

"Y-You look... amazing!" I say while stared at her helplessly admiring how good she looked. "What do you think buddy?" I asked Pikachu who was also staring at her but not in the same why I was.

"Pika, Pika Pi." Pikachu said, complementing her on how she looked but I knew that Serena probably had no idea what he just said so I translated for her.

Her shyness quickly seemed to disappear after hearing both complements by me and Pikachu as she smiled happily and returned to the booth to change into another dress.

Serena came out wearing another dress which really looked good on her and I couldn't help but continue to admire her beauty.

"You look beautiful Serena!" I complemented while my eyes started uncontrollably explore her body which I felt my face heat up as I did so.

"Th-thanks Ash." She said before turning around and headed back into the changing booth.

'Though it felt like we have been in this store for hours, which we probably have, it surprisingly isn't as bad as I thought it would be.' I begin to think as I wait for Serena to finish putting on her next dress. By now I think that I have judged at least 15 different dressed and all of them look amazing on her.

'Maybe it's not the dresses I find amazing.' I begin to think before I hear Serena come out of the changing booth.

I look up to see Serena standing in a beautiful red dress and a bit of a shy look on Serena's face. 'Probably because she might have not actually worn a dress like that before.' I think to myself as I admire what she is wearing and to be honest. I was lost for words.

"S-so... w-what do y-you think?" She asks nervously while she held up her long, blonde hair to try and hide her face.

"I... it's... you look..." I try to say, but the words didn't seem to come out of my mouth. She just looked so beautiful that every time I try to say how good she looks I stop myself because it doens't seem to describe how amazing she really looks.

"D-does it look that bad?" She said with a disappointed tone in her voice as she lowered her head a little.

"No No No..." I say immediately to stop her from lowering her head. "You... you just look so amazing that I am just lost for words. You look like a Goddess!" I manage to say causing her to look back up at me with her sparkling eyes.

"R-really? I-I look like that to you?" She says with a bit of disbelieve in her voice which caused me to get off my seat and walk up to her.

"Serena... you look absolutely beautiful." I say causing her face to go a deep shade of red as I place my hands on her hips which made her flinch at first but quickly relaxed as I pressed my lips against hers and I give her a passionate kiss. She was a bit taken by my actions but she soon kissed back while placing her hands around my neck to deepen the kiss.

"PIKA! PIKA PI!" I hear Pikachu shout, causing me to break the kiss an turn to see Pikachu's face.

Hehehe Gotta love dat face

"What's wrong buddy?" I ask him curiously with my arms still wrapped around Serena's waist.

"PIKA! PIKACHU!" Pikachu shouted still in shock. I feel my face heat up when he tells me that I kissed a girl.

"Yes Pikachu... I kissed a girl." I respond while rolling my eyes causing Serena to give out a small giggle.

"I-I think I will buy this one." She said giving me a happy smile before heading to go get back into her normal cloths.

Me and Pikachu waited patiently for Serena. Though I did notice that Pikachu was giving me a rather weird look every time I look over at him.

"What's with the look?" I decide to ask, but he just gave me a smirk and the jumped up onto my shoulders and rubbed his cheeks against mine.

"Pika-chu." He suddenly says teasingly as I felt my face heat up at what he said.

"PIKACHU! No, it's not like that!" I tell him just as Serena walks out of the changing booth with the red dress in one arm and all the other dresses in the other.

"W-what's not like what?" She asked curiously causing me to shake my head so that she couldn't see how embarrassed I looked.

"It's nothing! Just Pikachu being... Pikachu." I say, rubbing the back of my head while I glair at Pikachu who still has that smirk on his face.

"Anyways lets go, I'll pay for the dress so that we can go. I also heard that they have a caravel being held today." I explain while taking the dress from Serena's arms so that she could go put the other dresses back while I payed for this one.

"Th-thanks Ash." She says with an innocent smile on her face.

After I pay for the dress which was $100 Poke Dollars, but I had enough money saved on my Pokedex to pay for it. Me and Pikachu walk out of the shop with a white bag in hand with Serena's dress in it. Once we get out I see Serena waiting at the front of the store.

(Ok now let me explain how I am going to make money work in this world. So everyone has a pokedex and just like how you use it to register for leagues and stuff like that. You use your pokedex to pay for items as well.)

"Serena? What to head over to the carnival and go on some rides and play some games?" I ask her while I put the bag with the dress in it into my backpack.

"S-sounds fun." She answers with a smile on her face.

We begin to walk down one of the streets that is filled with shopping stores towards where the carnival is meant to be held. We walk in silence until Serena decides to break it, which I was kind of glad she did.

"A-Ash?" She say sounding very nervous as I look over at her to see that her head was facing the ground.

"Yes? What's up? You look a bit down." I say with a bit of worry in my voice because this day was meant to make her happy not make her sad.

"C-can I hold y-your hand?" She asks shyly with a shade of red appearing on her face as she asks. I was a bit surprised at her request but I was more than happy to accept.

"Of course!" I say happily as I grab a hold of her soft hand and continue to walk but this time Serena had a smile on her face.

Serena's POV

'OMA, I am holding hands with ASH!' I begin to fan girl inside my head but not as much as before when he kissed me in the clothes shop.

Me and Ash continue to walk hand in hand eventually arriving at the carnival which I had to admit looked like a lot of fun. The carnival seemed to be packed with people but for some reason it didn't scare me as much when I am with Ash.

Ash kindly bought two tickets ,as Pokemon entre free with their trainers, and we entred and began to look around at all the rides.

They had all kinds of rides! They had a rollercoaster, which looked a bit scary for me. They had a Ferris Wheel, which looked like fun. A house of horror and mirrors, an Arcade and lots of food stools and mini games where you can win prizes.

"So what do you want to do first?" I hear Ash ask which causes me to stop admiring all the places to go and turn to him.

"Uummm, I don't know. T-they all seem like fun to me." I say, not really answering Ash's question but to be honest I really didn't know which one to go on first, though I did have a strong desire to go on the Ferris Wheel with Ash.

"Well... how about we go to the Arcade and play some game?" He asked me which I agreed and we headed inside a big purple tent that was filled with lots of Arcade games and they even had a mini laser zone.

"H-hey Ash? C-could we do the lazer zone please." I ask, wanting to play some lazer tag because I have never tryed before but I have over heard people at school saying how fun it is.

"Sure. Have you ever played lazer tag before?" Ash asks as we walk over to the lazer zone. But beofore I could answer Ash's question I hear someone calling his name.

"Ashy-boy!" I turn to see who was calling his name to see Gary? I think his name was, running towards us with everyone else behind him.

"Oh, hey Gary. What are you doing here?" Ash asks in a friendly voice while turning to face his friends.

"We are here to play some lazer tag! What about you?" Dawn asks before shifting her eyes to look and at me and then down at our hands. When she did that I knew what was coming next. Before Ash could answer Dawn's question she immediately began to squeal.

"OMA! Serena? Are you and Ash on a date!?" She says with excitment filling her voice. It didn't take long for Misty and May to catch onto Dawn's drift and began fan girling too.

I was about to speak up but was cut off by Ash who spoke just as I was about to.

"Yes Dawn. Me and Serena are on a date." He answerd causing my face to heat up at the fact that we are on a date.

"OMA! I ship it!" Dawn answers before running up to me and hugging me which I wasn't ready for because I have only ever been hugged by my Mum and Ash.

"Way to go Ashy-boy! Getting yourself a girl in your life, good on ya. But you still got a long way to go before you get as many girlfriends as the famous Gark Oak." Gary says while putting one arm around Ash's neck.

"Actually I think I have more girlfriends that you Gary." Ash said, which sent shock into the whole group, but hit me the hardest as I felt my heart shatter at the thought of Ash already having a girlfriend.

"You see I have lots of girlfriends. There is Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, Biannca, Korrina." Ash began to say before we all fell anime style causing Ash to stop listing his 'girlfriends'.

"Was it something I said?" Ash asks no one in particular.

"Ash, Ash, Ash..." Gary begins to say. "There is a difference between having a girlfriend and having a friend that is a girl." Gary explains to Ash making him sweat drop.

"OH! Well in that case, no I don't have a girlfriend." Ash says which made me sign in relief which I think Dawn might have saw because she was giving me a weird smirk.

"Anyway... Lets play some lazer tag!" Drew says, breaking the silence.

We all nod in agreement and everyone walks into the lazer zone, I put my hand back in Ash's and we walk together a bit behind the group.

~TIME SKIP~

We finish playing our 10th round of lazer tag when we saw that the sun was now setting. Yes we played 10 rounds, it was just so fun that we all couldn't stop playing. I didn't do too well in the first couple of rounds but I got better and better towards the end.

We walked out of the huge tent and said our farewells to everyone else who was heading home because of the time.

"Should we starting heading back too?" Ask asks me, but I still wanted to ride to Feriss Wheel with him so I shook my head.

"C-can we ride the Feriss Wheel before we go?" I ask him.

"Sure, we still have some time left before the carnival closes so why not." He responds with his toothy grin which made my heart melt as I hugged him to thank him.

We walked over to the Ferris Wheel and got in one of the carriages. I sat right next to Ash with our hands still interlocked. Soon the ride started to move and we were slowly lifted up into the air.

"Pika pi." Pikachu says, jumping off Ash's shoulder and over to the edge of the carriage and looked at the view.

"What a beautiful view." Ash says with a smile on his face showing that he is enjoying the ride.

We soon reach the top of the Ferris Wheel and suddenly stop as part of the ride.

"W-wow... the sunset is so pretty." I say in awe as I watch the bright yellow sun gradually set.

"Yeah it is." Ash says while looking in the direction that I am looking in. 'Come on Serena! This is the perfect time to ask him.' I think to myself

"A-Ash..." I begin to say causing Ash to stop looking at the sun set and back at me as I got lost in his brown eyes.

"Uummm, did y-you go to Professor Oak's summer camp?" I manage to ask shyly.

"Yes I did. I remember helping a girl with a straw hat when she hurt her leg." He said with his smile growing as he is probably remebering that moment.

"Though I never did get her name." He adds while his smile became smaller.

"A-Ash... here." I said, reaching into my pocket and pulling out a blue and white hankerchief with a small pokeball in the coner and handed it too Ash who stared at it in confusion but then his expression changed to shocked very quickly.

"Wait! This is the hankerchief I gave to that girl... Serena, wait, your HER!" Ash says in complete amazement.

"Yep, I didn't recognise you either until you told me before you battled to 'Never Give Up Till The Very End.' Thats when I knew that it was you.

"Wow, Serena it really was you." He said before he brought me into a heart warming hug.

"Ash... I want to tell you something." I say a bit nervous.

"Uummm sure, what is it?" Ash asks. 'Come on Serena! You can do it. He has already kissed you twice so he must feel the same for you.' I say to myself, gaining enough confidence for what I was about to say next.

"Ash. E-ever since summer camp I-I looked up to you, and when I had to leave I-I was heartbroken. You were m-my first childhood friend. And after everything I-I have been through... y-you came back and saved me again, a-and I-I know now t-that I-I love you." I finally say, now I just watch and wait for his reaction as fear of rejection fills my body.

"S-Serena... I-I love you too." Ash said, he didn't give a whole confession like I did. But it wasn't needed those three word were enough for me as tears of happiness and joy start running down my face.

I lean towards Ash and he does the same until our lips meet causing a jolt of electricity to flow through my body as we kiss passionately, but this kiss feels different... it feels like there is more love ad care in this kiss than the other two.

We kiss for a couple of minuets until we feel the ride begining to move again causing use to break the kiss and just stare into each others eyes.

*Yawn

I give out a small yawn as we get off the ride, hand-in-hand.

"Someone sounds a bit tired." Ash says while putting his arm around my waist and brought me closer to him. As I feet his wamth and saftey entre my body I feel my cheeks heat up, but I didn't care I just wanted to be with him.

"You can sleep on me on the flight home if you want." Ash says while throwing out his Pidgeot from his pokeball.

"I would like that." I answer while closing my eyes for a bit, but quickly opened them again when I felt Adh moves his arms away from my waist to get on Pidgeot. Once he got on the light brown, bird Pokemon he lifted me up but this time he placed me right in front of him so that I could lye backwards onto him.

"Th-thank you Ash, this has been the b-best day of my life." I say before closing my eyes and falling asleep with my smile still visible on my face.

Ash's POV

We stared out flight home, Serena has fallen fast asleep in my arms but I couldn't help but smile at what she said before she did so.

'Thank you Ash, this has been the best day of my life.' Those words kept playing again and again in my head as I realise that I kept my promise to myself.

Eventually Pidgeot lands back in my backyard where we started. I thanked him for his great work and returned him back into his pokeball while holding Serena in my arms, carring her bridal style.

I carried her into the house and upstairs and placed her in my bed as it was pretty late and I didn't want to wake her up to send her home nor did I want to carry her all the way there when it is easier to juts have her sleep here.

Once I place her in my bed and tucked her in I leant over and gave her a slight kiss on her forehead and said, "Goodnight Serena."

But before I could walk away Serena quickly grabs my arm and pulls me down onto the bed which I was a bit shocked at her sudden actions because I thought she was asleep.

"Ah, Serena, don't scare me like that." I say before she warps her arms around my neck and kisses me passionately, I didn't question it and kissed back while enjoying the taste of her strawberry flavoured lips against mine.

After a while of kissing we broke the kiss in the need for air. Then Serena moves over a bit and signals for me to hope in the bed with her.

"Ash... c-can you sleep with me please." She asks in her sweet, innocent voice which I couldn't say no to, so I got into my bed and when I did Serena quickly wraped her arms around me and put her head into my chest.

"Love you Ashy." She says cheekily before closing her eyes again to go back to sleep.

"I love you too Serena." I say in a soft tone, then giving her a kiss again on her forhead before I too closed my eyes and went to sleep.

And there we go! Another chapter done. Sorry that this one took a little bit longer but I was still able to get it out before the day was over so thats a good thing right?
