Ash's POV

My lips pressed against her soft, strawberry ones causing electricity to flow through my body, but this type of spark was different... it wasn't like the type of electricity that Pikachu uses to zap me. No, what I was feeling now was something I have never felt before and I loved it. 

When I kiss her, it felt time stop and everything around me just seemed to disappear until there was nothing left but me and her.

We continued our kiss until the need for air caused Serena to break the lip contact, but she kept her arms around my neck and her head only inches away from mine as I felt her breath heavily and when I opened my eyes I noticed her lips slightly shaking.

'This must have been her first kiss.' I think not because she didn't seem to know what to do during the kiss because I didn't either as it was my first kiss on the lips too, but because of how she, despite needing oxygen, still continued to maintain the kiss until her survival instincts forced her to breath.

Serena was still breathing heavily and now her arms are slightly shaking as well as her lips which were still slightly open and seemed frozen in place like if they moved even the slightest the moment would be ruined.

I looked deep into Serena's beautiful, ocean blue eyes while giving her a smile which I doubt she could see as she stares back into my eyes which seemed to be sparkling in happiness at what just happened and I bet my eyes were the same.

I finally decided to break eye contact by putting my hand behind her head and into her honey blonde hair, bringing her closer to me as I place a soft kiss on her forehead.

"I-I love you Serena." I manage to say, causing her to immediately pull her head so that our eyes meet again. I was a bit worried because she seemed to have a look of shock on her face which was causing me to think that she didn't feel the same.

"A-Ash..." She began to say, as the smile I love so much appears on her face as well as a tint of pink on her cheeks. "I-I love y-you too." She finishes now having nothing but a look of happiness all over her face.

We just continued to stare at each other not making a sound as I guess we were both still a bit shocked at our feeling towards each other.

"Pikachu?" I hear Pikachu's voice followed by the sound of my bedroom door slowly opening.

I turn my attention away from Serena, which I must admit was harder than I thought to do, and looked at Pikachu standing at the door wanting to come in. 'Oh right, since I finally got up I haven't actually said much to Pikachu who was probably worried sick these past couple of days.' I think, knowing why Pikachu had such a concerned look on his face.

 "Come here Pikachu." I say in a playful voice while holding both my arms out towards him, indicating to him to come give me a hug.

"Pika Pi!" Pikachu said with tears beginning to run down his face as he ran on all fours towards me eventually jumping up at me and embracing me in a friendly hug which I didn't hesitate to return.

Pikachu and I hugged happily as I felt his tears begin to fall against my bare chest making me realise that I still had no shirt on.

I pulled Pikachu back and put him on the bed with both hands. As I place him down I hear a small giggle coming from Serena and quickly turn my head towards her to see what she was giggling at.

"What's so funny?" I ask, giving her the same playful voice that I gave Pikachu.

"N-nothing..." She said but I gave her a look to show her that I know that it wasn't nothing. "I-it is just... y-you still have n-no shirt on." She adds while her cheeks begin to go a shade of red.

"Ha sorry, I guess after everything that I forgot that I didn't have one on." I say while rubbing the back of my head.

"Anyways... I so hungry! It feels like I haven't eaten in 4 days!" I say sarcastically while getting up off the bed and walked over to get a top.

"*Giggles*  Well... t-that's because you haven't." Serena says with a smile on her face and a joyful tone. 'She seems to be a lot happier than I remember... is that because of what we just did or something else? Doesn't matter, I like this version of Serena.' I think to myself while putting a top on then walking back over to Serena who was still sitting in the exact same position on the bed where we had kissed.

"Come on, it looks like I am not the only one who needs to eat." I say, playfully while extending my hand out towards her.

Serena looked down at her stomach as if she could see how skinny she was through her cloths but she said the complete opposite of what I was trying to say.

"B-but if I eat I-I'll become f-fatter." Her words bring shock to both me and Pikachu as we both looked at her as if she was crazy.

"Serena... you need to eat. You are not fat, actually you are quite the opposite. Not trying to be rude but... you are really skinny, so skinny that your ribs are visible." I say, not trying to offend her.

"R-really?" She asks, looking back down at her stomach to as if to see if it was true.

"Yes really. But don't worry, I'm going tot get all those horrible lies that people have told you out of your head." I say confidently knowing that she has fallen victim to those lies and that she was probably so use to hearing them that the truth has been obscured.

Serena looked at me in shock followed by a small smile as she puts her hand into mine and I pull her up off the bed a little bit too hard causing her to be pulled close to me in almost like a hugging position. Serena didn't pull back right away, but when she did she stared right into my eyes as I did the same.

*Growl

 "Aahh... I guess my stomach really wants food." I sweat drop at my stomach growling for food which made Serena giggle. We both walked down stair with Pikachu right in front of us as we headed for the kitchen for breakfast as it was still only 9:30am.

"Hey honey! Glad to see you put a top on before coming down for breakfast." My Mum says while giving us a wink which caused Serena's cheeks to go a little red, I didn't know if it was what my Mum said or that she winked at the two of us.

 "Here you go Ash." She says while handing me a plate of Bacon and Eggs. "And here's one for you too Pikachu." She adds while handing Pikachu a bowl with the same thing in it as well as a bottle of Ketchup.

I placed my breakfast on the kitchen bench and sat on one of the three chairs at the bench. Pikachu didn't need a chair as he just sat on the bench, happily spreading ketchup all over his food.

"Serena sweetie? I have made some for you too." Mum says kindly while handing Serena a plate of Bacon and Eggs.

Serena was hesitant to take the plate at first but after I told her how good my Mum's cooking was she accepted and sat at next to me and just stared at the food with a rather depressed look on her face.

"Serena? Is everything ok?" I ask curiously. 'Serena wasn't like this until I mentioned food back at in my room. I hope she still doesn't believe that she is too fat.' I begin to think as my Mum exited the kitchen leaving just us.

"It-its just... just... w-what if y-you don't like me anymore I-if I eat this." She says with worry in her voice.

"Serena... no matter what you do or what you look like I will always like-no love you for you." I say softly while putting one hand on her shoulder for comfort.

A small smile slowly formed on Serena's face as she takes in what I just said to her. She then looks back down at her food and picks up the fork then looks back at me as if to ask for permission.

I give her a small nod to tell her that she should do it. Serena turns back towards the dish and picks up a bit of the egg with her fork and places it in her mouth and begins to chew.

I watch her eat while a smile couldn't help but form on my face as I know how much this is going to help her and it is one step closer to slaying all those evil lies that have affected her so much.

Serena swallowed the eggs then turn back to me as a smile formed on her face while her eyes began to sparkle showing that she must have liked it.

"So...?" I say wanting to know for sure that she really did enjoy the dish.

"I-it tastes so good!" She said, immediately picking up another piece of the egg and placing it in her mouth causing her smile to grow a little which made my smile even bigger.

'Arceus! She is so cute when she is happy.' I think to myself while I watch her eat her breakfast, completely forgetting about my own as I begin to wonder when the last time she had a meal like this was. But Pikachu soon snapped me out of my thoughts and I began to eat my breakfast with Serena.

After I finished my breakfast I waited for Serena to finish or until she couldn't eat anymore. Serena was only able to eat half of the eggs and about 1/3 of the bacon on her plate. But at least it was something and I am proud of her for what she has been able to do today.

"Ash... I'm full." She says, pushing her plate a little in front of her to show that she didn't want anymore.

"That's great Serena! Well done, I'm proud of you." I say giving her a joyful smile as a shape of red appeared on her cheeks again.

"Y-you are p-proud of m-me?" She asks, looking a bit taken back at what I just said.

"Yes I am! You were able to ignore those lies and eat your first meal in a while I bet." I say, rapping my arms around her from behind as she was still sitting down and I was standing behind her.

I give her a soft kiss on her cheek which made her face go all red which I didn't really understand but it was cute.

"And that is your reward." I say playfully while giving her a cheeky grin.

Serena seemed lost for words as she placed her hand on her cheek where is had kissed her. Her mouth was slightly open in shock and her eyes had that same adorable sparkle as she prosed what just happened.

"Anyways it's Saturday right? So what do you wanna do?" I ask, hoping to break her out of her trance which seemed to work as her eyes begin to move again and she removes her hand from her cheek and back down to her lap with her other hand.

"I-I don't know..." She said. 'I guess she really didn't have a plan for the day considering she just came over here to watch over me as I slept.' I begin to think before an idea pops into my head.

"How about we go out?" I say. I think she got the wrong idea because her eyes widened at what I just said and Pikachu gave me a shocked look as well.

"I mean like go see a movie, shopping that kind of thing." I quickly add not wanting this awkwardness to stay.

"Y-you mean l-like a d-date?" She said shyly as a tint of pink became visible on her face. I felt my heart start to beat a little bit faster at the thought of going out on a date with Serena.  

"Y-yeah... like a date." I try to say confidently but failing as the sparkle in her eye became a little bigger along with her smile.

"I-I would l-like that." She says shyly while lowering her head a bit but still making eye contact with me.

"Alright then lets go!" I say pumped while taking a hold of Serena's hand and dragged her out of the house into my backyard which I could tell made Serena a bit shocked because of my actions and a bit confused as to why we were in the back yard.

"Ash? W-why are we out here?" She asked like I knew she would. I gave her a reassuring smile while Pikachu caught up with us and jumped onto my shoulder.

"Well... considering that all the best places to go are in Lumiose City I thought we would catch a ride." I explain while smiling at her and giving her a thumbs up.

"Alright Pidgeot, I choose you." I say while throwing out a pokeball, revealing the light brown, bird Pokémon.

"Ready for our date?" I ask while turning back towards Serena and give her a big smile. She gives me a shy nod in return as I hope onto Pidgeot's back and then extend my arm out to Serena to help her up.

"A-are you sure its safe?" She asks with a bit of fear in her eyes.

"Don't worry Serena, its safe and also I would never let anything happen to you anyways." I respond trying to ease her nerves which worked because she took my hand and I pulled her up onto Pidgeot's back, placing her right behind me.

"Alright Serena, hold on ok." I say causing Serena to quickly wrap her arms around my waist and place her head against my back. I turn around and give her a quick peck on her forehead to show that I won't let anything bad happen to her.

"Ok Pidgeot, up! But softly please." I say to the bird Pokémon who nodded and softly and gracefully flapped its wings, lifting us up higher and higher into the air with every flap. As we got higher and higher I felt Serena's grip tighten but then began to loosen as I told her that everything was ok.

'I promise Serena I am going to make this one of the best day's of your life.' I promise myself before telling Pidgeot to head for Lumiose City.
