Before I start this chapter I have some things I want to say.
Firstly, WOW! When I finished Chapter 13 I had just over 80 reads. Then I come on to respond to some comments and I see that the reads has jumped to 315! So THANK YOU!

Secondly, if you haven't noticed I have had a name change. AJJ2016 ---> MinunAmour.
This is because my old name was just my initials and the year I joined Wattpad so I could read books here. BUT... now that I am writing I decided I needed an actual name :)

Anyway that's all I wanted to say! I hope you enjoy this chapter :)

Ash's POV

*FFFFFF *FFFFFF

"5 more minuets." I sleeply mumble with my eyes not wanting to open and nor did I want them to. I was still so tiered from yesterday from not getting much sleep on the plane ride, then having to go to school, then having to look after Serena. Which I'm not complaining about I'm just saying it would be nice to actually get some sleep!

*FFFFFFF! *FFFFFFF!

'Wait... that's not my alarm clock.' I begin to thinking to myself.

*FFFFFF! *FFFFFFF!

I admit defeat and open my sleepy eyes and began to look around remembering the I was in Serena's room. I then turned my head to see Serena in the same position she was when I fell asleep which was with her head leading happily against my shoulder and her arms around me and with a small smile plastered on her cute face.

*FFFFFFF! *FFFFFFF!

I immediately turn my attention to the direction that the noise was coming from. Thanks to small rays of sunlight coming through window I was able to find my vibrating phone placed on a small pokeball-designed table in the middle of the hot pink, painted room.

"Pikachu... PISS! Pikachu!" I loudly whisper not wanting to wake Serena but loud enough that Pikachu's senses sould pick up on it. "Pika?" Pikachu slowly respond sounding tired as he opened his eyes to see who was calling him.

"Sorry for waking you buddy, but can you hand me my phone? I kind of can't move." I shoftly explain to Pikachu my situation. He just slowly nobs and jumps off the pink beanbag and onto the table grabbing my phone and attempt to read the dreadful texts that had caused him to have to awaken from his peaceful sleep.

Pikachu after finishing reading just rolled his eyes at the texts making me wonder what they said. He then ran up to me handing me my phone.

"Thanks buddy." I quietly say while opeing my phone to check the time. "It's only 6:30am. So you can go back to sleep buddy." I said to Pikachu who didn't hesitate to jump back onto the beanbag and go back to sleep.

I unlocked my phone with only 1 failed attempt because I was doing it left handed because my right hand was wrapped around Serena and moving it might have woken her up. I opened my messages and saw an unknown number.

???: ASH!!!!! You didn't tell me you were in Kalos!

???: Ash! I know you are there!

???: Answer your flippen phone!

???: YOU CAN'T IGNORE ME!

'Really!? This is why I had to get up!' I said to myself kind of annoyed that I had to get up for this.

Ash: Who is this? And how did you get this number?

???: HE LIVES! And I am deeply offended Ashy-Boy that you don't remember me!

Ash: Wait... Gary Oak?

Gary: The one and only 😎

Ash: How did you even get this number!?

Gary: I am the famous Gary Oak! I can do anything!

Ash: You asked your gramps to ask my Mum for it didn't you? 😑

Gary: I may have pulled a few strings. 😜

Gary: But I found out that you are going to the same school as me! And you weren't there! WHY?

Ash: Calm down Gary. I was there for my first day but I had to help a friend get home because they were hurt.

Gary: But you will be there today right?

Ash: Yep!

Gary: Good! See ya then!

'He sure is a character that Gary Oak!' I think to myself slowly shaking my head still a bit annoyed that I had to wake up for that. 'But hey, at least I now know that I go to school with Gary.' I think to myself trying to look at the bright side. 'But is that really a good thing?' I playfully ask myself.

I just continued to lye there staring at the ceiling because I shouldn't get back to sleep and just waited for Serena to wake up. Of course I didn't want to wake her because I thought she lookedd really peaceful and cute sleeping on me. 'Wait did I just think that she is cute AGAIN!' I think to myself. 'What is going on with me? I have never thought that someone is cute! espessially not a girl!' I continue to think to myself trying to understand why I'm think like this.

I was eventually snaped out of my thought by the soft moans of Serena as she woke up.

"Good morning sleepyhead." I say playfully as she rubbed her eyes to fully wake herself up. "M-morning." Was all she said before a tint of pink then appeared on her face.

"How did you sleep?" I asked wanting to continue the conversation."I-it was g-good... y-your a comfy pillow." She responded with a small, cheeky smile while mumbling that last part but it was loud enough for me to understand. 

"Thanks... I think we should start to get ready for school now." I say while sitting up to get ready to get changed. I look back over to Serena who was still lying on the bed but she seemed to have a worryed expression on her face.

"Don't worry Serena. They arn't going to do anything to you. Not when I'm around." I say trying to chear her up which kind of worked because she soon lifted herself up off the bed and hugged me. I was a bit surprised by her sudden actions but soon returned the hug. After we both got changed into our normal cloths. I had to re-wear yesterdays cloths because I didn't have another set on me.

While we where walking to school I couldn't help by notice that during breakfast Serena seemed a bit more energised than yesterday but I didn't pay much attention to it and just continued to walk with Pikachu resting on my shoulder again excited for school and Serena walking very close to me. I only assumed that it was because she was nervous about school and didn't pay to much attention to it.

We finally arrived at school and were about togo in the gates when I felt Serena suddenly stop. "What's wrong Serena?" I ask, notising that she had her head facing the ground and her body was slightly shaking.

"I-I can't... w-what if t-they hurt me aganin? W-what if t-they hurt y-you?" She says with tears begining to form in her eyes but she feld them back. I quickly walked up to Serena and placed my hands on her shoulders causing her to look up at me with a shade of red slowly appearing on her face.

"I won't let that happen. Don't Give Up Till It's Over." I say trying to comfort her. "Remember that ok?" I tell her. She just simply nods then embraces me in a hug which I gladfully return.

"T-thank you Ash... Thank you." Was all she said before pulling out of the hug.

"No problem Serena. No come on, I don't want to be late for my first class together." I say while extending my hand to her. I think she must have been a bit suprised by my gesture because her arm was shaking as she slowly raised her hand to meet mine. Once her hand was in mine I quickly draged her through the school gates and into the school hallway.

Because I was still new I had no clue where I was going, but luckly enough I had Serena in all of my classes! Talk about luck! (Yes luck and not because the Author needed you to be in the same class for the story to work)

Our first lesson was Maths. Well considering that I missed that lesson yesterday because I had no idea where I was going, I guess it is only it only seems right that I have it for my first lesson. Once we entred the class room there were students already in their seats talking to their friends. I did over hear something about how someone had recorded Calem's loss and posted it on Poketube (Pokemon YouTube)

Serena walked behind me shly as we wallked to the back of the class because that's where Serena said she normaly sits.

After a couple of minuets of talking to Serena about how she finds maths and if it's hard or not which she said it wasn't too hard, the teacher finally walked into the classroom causing the whole class to go quiet.

"Now let's try this again. Ash Ketchum? Are you here today?" Said the teacher. This kind of caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting to be singled out like that.

"Y-yes. I'm here." I say raising me hand so that she could identify me.

"Ah good, mind coming up to the front and introducing yourself to the class?" She said with a pleased tone. Something told me that she wasn't asking if I wanted to or not and that I had to do it. So without a second thought I jumped out of my seat and walked to the front of the class.

"Hi. I'm Ash and I'm from Pallet Town back in the Kanto Region. And this is my best buddy Pikachu." I told the class while pointing to Pikachu who had starts in his eyes still probably finding it hard to believe that he was finally about to find out what school was.

"Pikachu!" He said happily to the class causing some of the girls to let out a small "Awwww"

As Pikachu was introducing himself I noticed Gary waving at me. He say in the third row with to my surpise my Sinnoh rival Paul on his right and on his left was my old travling compaion, Misty who just gave me a small simle. Andnext to her was another one of my female traviling partner, Dawn who was also waving at me.

"Thank you Ash and Pikachu, you can sit down now." The teacher said, dismissing me from the classes attention, which I was happy about.

I walked back over to my seat next to Serena but not before giving a small wave to my old friends as I walked by them.

"W-who are t-they?" Serena asked sounding like her normal shy self.

"They are some of the people I traveld and battled with on my journey." I explained to her. She didn't seem to happy that I knew them, she just frowned and opened her maths book and began to take the notes that the teacher was writing on the board down in her book.

I copied her actions and opened my maths book and gave a pen and a small notebook to Pikachu (who had his own spate desk) so that he could to take notes. Because it was all numbers I knew that Pikachu could understand what was going on and he seemed to be enjoying his first ever class as he had a joyful smile on his face as he did his work.
