Ash's POV

I was amazed, after I told Serena that what they did to her was wrong that I was glad that she didn't decide to kill herself I could see her lips start to form a small smile. Her small smile brought a warm feeling into my heart. This feeling is new, I have never felt this way. It kind of reminds me how much I love my mother and my Pokémon but different. The feeling was much stronger towards her.

Serena must have caught me staring at her because her smile started to disappear and in its place a her normal expression reappeared.

"You know you look a lot cuter when you smile." I say without think immediately causing me to blush at my own words. Serena looks at me shook while putting her head back down to try and hide her embarrassment, clearly not use to people complimenting her .

"T-thank you." She managed to say as he cheeks started to turn red.

Serena looked back up at me and we both just glazed into each others eyes. Her ocean blue eyes were so beautiful, so soft and gentile that it was almost impossible for me to look away. As I looked deeper into her eyes I began to feel like I understand her better now. She just needed someone bring her out of barrier of negativity and self regret and show her how to feel happy once again.

*FFFFFFF *FFFFFF (I have no idea how to make I vibrating noise in words)

The sound of a vibrating sound forces me to break eye contact with Serena which I was a little unhappy about because I wanted to continue staring into her beautiful eyes.

I turn my head towards where the sound had originated from which just so happened to be my backpack that I had put just next to the couch. It didn't take me long to identify what the sounds was. It was the sound of my phone receiving a text.

"Pikachu could you get my phone for me?" I ask Pikachu who was the closest to my backpack.

"Pikachu." He responded while giving a nob in agreement. Pikachu jumped off the couch and started looking through my bag, throwing things all over the floor that weren't my phone. Eventually he managed to find it.

"Pika Pi." He says signalling me that he found it. I glance over at Pikachu only to see I just about every item that was in my bag out on the floor.

"Did you really need to take everything out of my bag to find it?" I ask him rhetorically.

"Pika." he said while sweatdropping as he looked at the mess he had caused. His reaction earned a slight giggle from Serena who must have been watching him search through my bag and him throwing all of my stuff onto the floor.

"Thanks buddy." I say as he hands me my phone and returns to his position n the other couch. I was about to look at my phone to see who texted me but I felt Serena tugging on my sleeve trying to get my attention. I turn my head to face her giving her my attention.

"D-do you m-mind if I lie down?" She asked shyly while slightly blushing.

"Of course." I answer about to get up so she can lie down until she tugs on my sleeve again causing me to turn my head back to her in confusion.

"I-I w-want y-you t-to s-stay." She slowly mumbled just loud enough for me to hear.

'Wait, she wants me to stay but she also wanted to lie down? What does she mean?' I ask myself struggling to put the dots together until Serena stood up weakly causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

"Serena, what are you doing? You shouldn't be standing up." I say out of worry for her wellbeing and still confused as to why she got up in the first place.

"C-could y-you s-s-sit t-there... please." She says shuttering while pointing to the end of the couch where she had rested her head while sleeping. I didn't argue though, I moved to the stop she requested while still trying to figure out what she had in mind.

Serena then weakly moved over to where I was previously sitting and lowered herself down onto the couch. I noticed that she looked really red. I just hoped that she isn't getting sick or anything like that.

"D-do y-you m-mind I-if I l-lie o-on y-you?" She said, shuttering on every word that she spoke. My mind automatically connected the last dot and that when it hit me. 'Oh, she wanted to lie on me. That's why she asked me to move here, so that she could lie down with her head on my lap.'

The thought of having Serena lying on me made me blush as I answered her question. "S-sure... If it makes you comfortable." I say giving her a smile while still in a little bit of shock that she wanted to lie on me.

I saw the little smile creep back onto Serena's face as she prosed my words then slowly began to move her body into position. She was hesitant to put her head down onto my lap so I gently put my hand behind her head causing her to look at my smile as I escorted her head down onto my lap.

Her small simile began to grow on her face. 'She definitely looks way cuter with a smile on her face. WAIT WHAT! Ash stop think this way!." I think to myself before Serena began to speak.

"W-who w-was it?" She asked. It took me a second to realise what she was talking about until I remembered that I had a text I needed to read. I automatically looked down to my phone to see who the text was from.

"It's my Mum." I say answering Serena as I began to read her text.

Mum: HONNEY WHERE ARE YOU?!

Mum: It's 6:00pm and you are still not home! 😡

Mum: Also I got a message from school saying you were absent today!

'Man, my Mum seems really worried. I guess I didn't realise how late it was.' I think to myself trying to think about what I should tell her.

"Y-you ok?" I hear Serena ask with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah I'm fine, it's just my mother asking where I am." I tell her giving her a small smile as I begin to reply to my Mum's texts.

Ash: Sorry Mum, didn't mean to make you worried. 😅

Ash: I am currently at a friends house at the moment.

Mum: Oh ok, good to see that your alive still

Mum: Why weren't you at school?

Ash: I was... I got my schedule and everything. But I couldn't find my class so I missed the class and then it was lunch and I helped who was hurt to the Health Centre. Then she needed to be brought home but she had no one who could pick her up so I bought her home.

I explained to my mother the situation trying not to make it sound like Serena was being bullied out of respect for her. I waited for a response hoping she would understand why I was marked as absent for the whole day.

Mum: So it's a girl 😏

Ash: Yes Mum. My friend is a girl

'Really? Out of all the things she could have replied with she replied with that? Mum's are weird.' I think to myself while shaking my head slowly.

"I-is everything o-ok?" She asked concerned. 'She must have seen me shake my head and thought that it was something bad.' I conclude before answering her.

"Yeah, everything is fine, just my Mum being... well my Mum." I say while sweatdropping at my answer which caused Serena to give out a small giggle.

"M-may I-I s-see?" She asked shuttering while she spoke.

"Sure." I simply respond while handing Serena my phone and she begins to read. I don't have any problem with Serena reading my texts. There isn't anything there that is too embarrassing.

"Y-your Mum is f-funny." She says while her smile grows a little bigger and small giggles escape her mouth.

Before I could respond I heard my phone vibrate again.

"What does it say Serena?" I ask while slowly running my hand through her long honey-blonde hair.

I see her face begin to glow red and her smile slowly disappear much to my displease. "Uummm... y-your Mum a-asks if y-your s-sleeping o-over?" She says nervously causing me to stock stroking her hair.

"I mean, if it's ok with you." I say leaving the decision to her.

"T-that w-would be n-nice." She managed to say softly giving me her answer.

"Ok then, do you want to tell my Mum I will be sleeping over?" I ask her giving her the honours of tell her. Serena just slowly nobs her head as I begin to stroke her hair once again.

Serena begins typing on my phone before I notice that she has gone completely red. "What's wrong." I ask her in confusion. She doesn't say anything and just hands me my phone and I begin to read what the text says.

Ash: Yes, Mum I will be sleeping over.

I begin to read from where Serena stated to text my mother realizing she didn't tell her that she was the one texting.

Mum: Ok sweetie, But remember that you are at a girls house so don't do anything Naughty 😉

After reading my Mum's text I immediately knew why Serena started blushing now. And her text kind of started to me blush too.

Ash: MUM!!!!!!

Ash: Serena was texting that last part for me. She didn't need to read that!

Mum: Oh Serena, that's a nice name. And sorry hun but it's true though. Remember that she is still probably a virgin so go easy on her. 😋

Ash: MUM!!!!!!! STOP!!!!!

Ash: We are not doing anything like that! 😒

Mum: Hehe, just teasing sweetie. Have a good time. Bye. 😂

My face now was as red as a tomato and I think Serena noticed too because she immediately asked me what was wrong. I was very hesitant to tell her.

"It's just my Mum again." I say not wanting to advance this convocation any further.

"C-can I s-see?" She asked curiously, I think she may have found entertainment in my mothers texts to me. I didn't want to let her see what my mother had sent because it was really embarrassing. But I did want to Serena happy as well.

"Aaaahhhh, ok but be warned, read at your own risk." I warned her while handing her my phone and she began to read my Mums texts. It didn't take long for her to go completely red from embarrassment.

"Like I said, just my Mum being well... my Mum." I tell her while sweatdropping and rubbing the back of my head in embarrassment.

Serena handed me back my phone and we sat there in complete silence, Until I decided to break the silence.

"So Serena, want to order pizza for dinner?" I ask her and I look into her eyes while they start to sparkle indicating to me that she likes that idea.

"Y-yes please." She answered with sparkles in her eyes.

I grabbed my phone and ordered a large peperoni pizza for the three of use.

"They said the pizza will be here in about 20 minuets." I explain to Serena who seemed to be very comfortable with her head on my lap while I stroke her hair.

"T-thank y-you Ash." She says softly while a small smile began to form on her lips.

"For what?" I ask in curiosity

"F-for being m-my first f-friend." She says while closing her eyes and leading her head into my stomach and began to hug me.

Hmmmm the thought of Pizza has got me really hungry now. 🍕
