"I'm here and I'm queer!"

Cash huffed, as she heard the clink of Casey's car keys against the marble of her kitchen island.

"And I don't need any help whatsoever!"

As Cash rounded the corner into her kitchen, she saw a squished Casey between her door and the frame with a cup holder full of Starbucks in her hands.

"Liz!" Cash huffed and pointed towards where Casey was struggling, "hello?? door??"

Liz threw her jacket over one of the kitchen stools, "oh yeah!"

Liz walked to the door, where a smile now appeared on Casey's face. Without warning, Liz took her 'pinkity drinkity' from the cupholder and made her way into the living room.

Cash huffed again, moving to her door and helping Casey into the apartment.

"Thankyou, Cash!" Casey shouted into the living room, returned swiftly with a thumbs up from Liz.

All three girls moved to the couch, Liz knowingly taking Cash's favourite seat - it was a game the two liked to play. Scratch that - Liz loved it, Cash despised it.

"Hey! I'm having a stressful enough morning as it is!" Cash spoke, patting Liz on the head.

"You rang?" she replied, turning her head, "four words downey - you snooze, you lose."

Cash sat beside Casey, running a hand through her wet hair. She thought having a long shower would calm her down, but in reality it just gave her longer to talk herself out of the date. Am I ready? She thought. Am I good enough for him? What if I embarrass myself?

"Cash!" Casey shouted, waving a hand in front of the girls face and looking at her phone, "you've got an hour and a half until he's picking you up, and so far you're sat in your pyjamas with wet hair and a sad cappuccino you've barely touched."

Cash tried to force a smile, picking up her cup and raising it into the air for a cheers.

"You need to get your act together, dude," Liz said from across the room, looking up from her phone, "harrison says he's already up and ready!"

Cash sighed in frustration, and Casey leaned forward, "you've been messaging harrison?"

Liz shrugged her shoulders, "he's not as bad as he seems after the first few hours, and besides i wanted the tash tea firsthand!"

Cash stood up and began pacing across her living room, her pyjamas swishing around her legs.

"Will someone please help me?!"

Casey stood up and placed her hands on Cash's shoulders, gesturing for Liz to get on her feet too, making her frown.

"Girls!" She spoke, "let's get this cash looking like a million dollars for her date with spiderboy!"

Liz jumped up and over the couch with a smile, and put her cup up between the three, "all for one?"

Cash smiled for the first time that morning, picking up her 'sad cappuccino' and lifting it to meet Liz's, "one for all!"

The three girls laughed and Casey ushered Cash to her dresser, grabbing Liz's hand pulling her along too.

"I feel like we're in a 90s movie! This is awesome!" Liz spoke, pulling up a chair and leaning to catch herself in the mirror.

Casey placed her hands on Liz's shoulders this time. 'Not your moment, sweetie," she spoke, forcing her out of view of the mirror and looked at Cash.

Her hair was dripping wet, she had no makeup on and hadn't picked an outfit yet. Or at least that's what Casey gathered by the pile of clothes drowning the closet floor. Casey sighed, and started by plugging in the blowdryer.

"We've got a lot of work to do, ladies."
