Being moved to France at the age of nine due to her mother's work meant Lucy Lunette (A tongue twister, she knows) was to attend Beauxbatons Academy of Magic later in life.

When she reaches her seventh year, she is one of the lucky students to get to go and accompany many others at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the Tri-Wizard Tournament.

Lucy's fiery personality was well known at Beauxbatons, and her fellow classmates and friends had guessed right in speculating she might put her name forward for the tournament.

When her name is plucked from the Goblet of Fire, Lucy is over the moon to be chosen, and being able to represent Beauxbatons against her rivals.

But, there are multiple schools competing in this tournament, and when the Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory is chosen, he meets his match in Lucy, for the two were probably the most competitive people each other had ever met.

However, that doesn't stop Cedric warming up to Lucy, but with her oblivious senses and the fact that they were supposed to be enemies, he realises that maybe competing in the Tri-Wizard Tournament is easier than getting a chance with Beauxbatons' golden girl.
