4,000 years later.

The boys are now ten years and two months old.

Vinny recently celebrated his 30th birthday.

Duke and Madison could not believe that their child was at this age. They see him as an adult and not just their son.

He has his own little family, A wonderful husband, and a beautiful child.

They often sit and watch him, wondering where the time went. But Vinny is getting on with his life and they love that it's just so easy for him to live and have a good time.

John often can't believe that Oliver is thirty.

It only felt like yesterday that he was eighteen and his life changed dramatically.

He and Vinny have been together for 12,000 years.

When Oliver looked back in his life, every moment is spent with Vinny and he wouldn't change a single thing.

Their love is so strong and their lives are perfect.

Corey and Panuleon still can't believe how time has flown. They can't believe they have been together for all this time and being with each other is the most magical life to live.

They're always by each other's side and they wouldn't have it any other way.

"Corey, you need to pick something," Panuleon smiled as he stood behind him in an ice-cream shop. It was the middle of summer and the day was warm. Clear blue skies helped a brightly shining sun to beat down on everything.

Vinny and Oliver were waiting for Rayvon and Luka to pick something, who were also taking their time.

"I want strawberry," Rayvon said as he pressed his face up against the glass.

Vinny liked that Rayvon loved strawberry ice cream, it was all Oliver would eat when he was pregnant with him.

Over the years, Rayvon's stutter surprisingly disappeared. It comes back sometimes but it went quicker than what Vinny's did when he was his age.

Luka ran over to Corey and took his hand.

"What would you like?" Panuleon smiled.

"Chocolate" He grinned but he was too shy to ask for it himself.

But Rayvon, on the other hand, was extremely confident.

"Can I have four scoops of strawberry ice cream please?" He asked the woman who smiled at the mini version of Vinny.

It was almost spooky how much they looked alike. But when he smiled, he looked like Oliver.

"No, you can have two at the most" Oliver chuckled.

"Dad" Rayvon whined. "Pleeaasse!"

"Nope," He smiled.

Rayvon groaned and dropped his head on the counter.

"Fine."

As the woman behind the desk got his ice cream, Duke, Madison and John were sitting in a nearby park, waiting for the boys.

The public, of course, were excited and taking pictures.

The paparazzi are not allowed to get within twenty meters of the boys as they had an incident a few hundred years ago where little Luka had a panic attack. They swarmed him and tried asking too many questions.

That really knocked the kids confidence and he finds it hard to trust people who he doesn't know.

Panuleon is now more protective when they're out in public, but he loves protecting the two people who are most precious in his life.

When everyone was out of the shop, Vinny lifted Rayvon up and put him on his shoulders.

He was getting big now and Oliver would struggle to carry him but Vinny's vampire strengths made it easy.

Rayvon had started to develop vampire strengths but he still hasn't drunk any blood and shows no interest in doing so. Luka was still sleeping and eating like a human but he hasn't hit puberty yet so they still don't know if he's a full angel or not.

Rayvon now sleeps like a vampire which means he dives onto his parent's bed at about five in the morning.

Vinny doesn't mind, he is usually awake but Oliver needed more sleep so sometimes Jed distracts Rayvon and takes him on mini adventures before Oliver wakes up.

He calls the angel uncle Jed which everyone thought suited him very well.

"Do not drop any ice cream on me" Vinny said as he held onto his son's knees.

Rayvon laughed and deliberately squirmed on his shoulders.

Oliver grinned as they walked down the street. He could see the park and he could start to see their parents.

"Can we feed the ducks!?" Rayvon asked.

Luka looked up to Corey with a pleading smile.

"Yes, your grandparents have bread for you" He smiled.

Luka thinks of Duke, Madison and John as his grandparents because that's what they have technically been throughout the years.

They've treated him like he's their own and the couple is incredibly grateful for that.

"Yay!" Rayvon said and bopped up and down on his dad's shoulders, making him stumble a little bit. "Dad, go faster!"

Vinny smiled and waited until they had crossed the road before jogging down the grass.

Rayvon gripped his head with a huge grin on his face.

His parents watched and laughed as Vinny continued to jog towards them.

He stopped a few meters away before crouching and letting his son climb off his shoulders.

"Okay, go play. But make sure I can see you."

Rayvon nodded but looked around for Luka.

"Can I?" Luka asked his dad before showing his wings.

They were now big enough for him to use but he knew never to use them without his parent's permission.

"Yes, but only to Rayvon" The Angel smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Okay," Luka chirped and vanished. They watched as he appeared right in front of the kid and stumbled into him.

He's still learning how to do it smoothly.

His wings look magnificent as the gold swirls have become more visible, the bigger they've got.

The black is pure and deep.

They would turn anyone's head who hadn't seen such things.

His eyes are still incredible. With one gold and one blue, he now gets mostly compliments because he doesn't hang around other kids except for Rayvon.

Taking them out of that school was definitely the best decision.

Other kids just don't understand them.

Vinny watched the two boys run off together before sitting next to his mum on the blanket.

"Hey son" She smiled and patted his knee.

Vinny smiled back, which is something he's getting better at.

Maybe it's because he's getting older or maybe it's because he's around kids all the time, but his mood is slightly lifted.

Not with outsiders of course, but with his family.

Vinny was just about to reply but Oliver was creeping up behind him.

He heavily resisted his hands on Vinny's shoulders, making the vampire jump.

He looked up with a frown as everyone laughed.

Oliver grinned and kissed him before sitting down too.

"How old are you?" Vinny asked with a sarcastic twinge.

Oliver crossed his legs and made sure one knee was crossing over Vinny's knee so they could both feel each other.

"Mentally, I don't know."

"About twelve" John said, making Oliver chuckle.

"Sounds about right."

Vinny shook his head in amusement and then took in his surroundings.

They were sitting in a huge field with the street at the top. The lake was out to the right and the park was about ten meters from where they were sitting.

It was a little busy but people knew not to crowd the families, they need their space sometimes.

Corey and Panuleon sat on the big blanket as they smiled and said hello to everyone.

"Oh, I don't know if you'll remember them Vinny" Duke then said. "But my good friend Jack and his wife Rebecca are coming."

To Vinny, those names sounded familiar but he couldn't picture their faces.

"They have been living in Australia and this is the first time they're coming back to England after almost fifteen vampire years."

"They've been away for that long?" Oliver asked. He didn't know these people.

"Yes," Duke smiled. "They needed freedom from looking after cities and so on. But Jack's dad is needing help so they came back a few days ago."

"And they're coming here?" Vinny asked.

"Yes, actually, I think I can see them," Duke said and shaded his eyes while looking up the field.

Everyone turned to see a couple walking towards them.

As they got closer, Vinny recognised their faces but he hadn't seen them in a very long time. Although, he did remember that they were very nice people.

They were always friendly to him and were extremely patient when he talked with his stutter.

Duke and Madison stood up with big smiles as they went to greet their friends.

Everyone else got up too, getting ready to be introduced.

"Duke" Jack beamed and hugged him. "It has been far too long!"

Duke patted his back and pulled away while Madison hugged Rebecca.

"It has," He said and took his turn to hug Rebecca.

"You both look the same" She chuckled. Yes, they look older but to them, they haven't changed much.

"Oh my god" Jack then said. "Is that Vinny?"

His parents turned to see them looking at their son, standing with his arms crossed.

"It is indeed," Duke said, feeling proud.

"Wow," Jack said as he walked up to him. "I haven't seen you since you were sixteen!"

Vinny was the same height as him now and Jack was tall.

He rested a hand on the Vampires shoulder, remembering that he wasn't one for affection.

"How old are you now?"

"I turned thirty a few days ago."

Jack almost laughed, not believing how time has flown.

"That's crazy," Rebecca said as her eyes scanned the other people, standing with smiles. "It makes me feel old."

Duke then stepped forwards and rested a hand on Oliver's shoulder.

"This is Oliver, Vinny's husband."

But the way Jack and Rebecca's eyebrows shot up made him realise that they didn't know.

"What? Husband?" Jack asked with wide and intrigued eyes. "Vinny, you're gay?"

The vampire didn't even bat an eyelid at that anymore. He decided a long time ago that he's into guys and he's proud of who he is.

"Yes," He said, staring at him with confidence.

Jack then realised that it's not really a big deal, he just didn't know.

"Well, I didn't expect that" He chuckled and shook Oliver's hand. "It's nice to meet you."

"And this is John" Madison smiled. "Oliver's dad."

"Hello John," Jack said as Rebecca finished hugging Oliver and moved around the group.

Duke then put his hand on Corey's shoulder, just as Jack spotted him.

Corey's head came up to his chest.

"My gosh, you're small" He chuckled.

"This is Corey and Panuleon."

The couple didn't recognise the names which became unusual, the whole world knows who they are.

"It's nice to meet you," Rebecca said as she hugged them both before Jack shook their hands.

"Are you a couple too? Are you a friend of Vinny's?"

"Yes, and Yes" Corey smiled, knowing things would soon get complicated if they asked about their lives.

Duke and Madison were shocked that they didn't know Vinny's soulmate was a guy.

But they had distanced themselves from everything and they heard that they even camped out in a cave for a few thousand years.

Just then, Rayvon came running over and squeezed himself between Vinny and Oliver.

"Dad, can you push me high on the swing?"

This caused Jack and Rebecca to raise their eyebrows again.

"Dad?" Jack questioned.

Rayvon looked at the strangers who were gawping at how much he looked like Vinny.

"You have a son?" Rebecca questioned.

Vinny and Oliver shared a glance, now things were going to get really complicated.

"Play with Luka for just a little longer, we'll be over soon," Oliver said.

"Okay," Rayvon smiled before running off again. He can get hyper like his dad.

"Clearly, you've been oblivious to everything that has happened" Duke chuckled as he guided them over to the blanket.

Everyone sat down as Vinny's parents got ready to explain everything, right from the beginning.
