"So, you caught my dad and Jed, kissing?" Oliver said as he rubbed his eyes and watched Vinny nod. "I wish I could've seen your face."

Vinny smiled. As soon as Oliver was making jokes again, he was back to his normal self.

"I was really shocked and probably stared for longer than I should've."

Oliver chuckled as the excitement continued to grow inside of him.

Vinny watched his eyes, he knew it was coming as his soulmate calmed down, the realisation that John and Jed were together was starting to sink in.

He sat for a moment before his expression became more and more shocked.

Vinny prepared himself, he was going to explode.

"Oh my god" Oliver whispered.

Vinny grinned, seeing his excitement and feeling so happy that he wasn't upset anymore.

"My, my dad and Jed?"

Oliver suddenly gripped the sides of Vinny's face as he raised his eyebrows.

"My dad and Jed are soulmates!" He pretty much yelled with amazement. "I'm so happy" He breathed.

"Come on, it's interrogation time."

Oliver almost leapt off his knee while Vinny chuckled and stood up.

"Remember-"

"Yes I know, just think about one thing at a time," Oliver said and nodded. But it was clear how full of happiness he was.

"And?"

"And remember to breathe."

Vinny smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Take my hand, I'm not letting you sprint all the way there."

Oliver took his hand and his grip was tight. His eyes were bursting with emotions. He couldn't wait to see his dad and Jed together. He couldn't wait to tell them how much he supported it.

"Don't walk slow," Oliver said and pulled him out of the bedroom. "We have to get there right now!"

Vinny just went with his flow and half jogged down the corridor.

Oliver was sucked into the moment. He was determined to get to his dad and express his love for his new soulmate. This was so much for his mind to cope with but he was only just beginning.

Rayvon and Luka came into the dining room after being in the garden all morning. The affection was still growing strong for them and they had to be with each other, twenty-four hours a day.

Luka noticed that John and Jed were holding hands as Madison asked them every question she could think of.

He stopped and pulled on Rayvon's shirt sleeve.

He looked down but heard his thoughts, making him follow his gaze towards their grandad and the angel.

Rayvon's eyebrows raised but only for a second.

"I knew it," He thought.

"No you didn't" Luka chuckled and rolled his eyes. "But are they together now?"

"It looks like it," Rayvon thought while looking at his soulmate. "I did know about them two."

He was joking and just winding his best friend up. But he always does this.

Luka knows him well enough to detect when he's messing with him.

"No you didn't" He chuckled. "I would've heard you thinking about it otherwise."

"Alright, you got me" Rayvon grinned.

Luka shook his head and stepped closer, needing to feel his touch.

"But I did know."

Luka poked him in his side, knowing he was ticklish, just like his parents.

Rayvon jumped but quickly picked him up and flung him over his shoulder.

Luka squealed cutely and gripped his back, making everyone turn and see what they were doing.

"Rayvon!" Luka gasped as the half Vampire spun him around.

Everyone smiled at them while realising there are a lot of beautiful relationships that are happening within these walls.

Suddenly,

The door flung open and Oliver walked in, dragging Vinny behind him.

Luka jumped and gripped Rayvon tight, but he quickly settled when he realised it was just his soulmates parents.

Everyone's eyes turned to Oliver.

When he ran away, nobody knew what was going through his head but now, he looked incredibly hyped up and ready to burst.

John and Jed barely had time to register his appearance before he ran over and jumped on them both.

Vinny chuckled and crossed his arms.

Oliver wrapped an arm around his dad and an arm around Jed before squeezing in between them and hugging them tight.

"you're together!?" He muffled into John's shoulder. "I can't believe it!"

John smiled and rubbed his back.

"We're sorry for not telling you Ollie. The longer we kept it a secret, the harder it became to tell everyone."

"I can't believe you're together!"

To say that Oliver was excited would be an understatement.

He pulled back and pushed their heads together so their cheeks were squished against one another.

"I'm sorry for running away, I was just shocked. I didn't expect you to kiss him I just... This is amazing" He said quickly.

Vinny was watching him closely, he was getting exceptionally hyper.

"It's alright Oliver" Jed smiled.

"Are you both in love?"

This is when the questions were beginning to start but Corey and Panuleon had walked over and Corey needed to ask things too.

John looked at Jed and it has been a very, very long time since Oliver saw him look at someone like that.

"Yes, we are."

Oliver's mind exploded as he pulled them into another tight embrace.

"You're both perfect for each other" He breathed.

Madison and Duke watched with big smiles. This was what they expected from Oliver and they're so happy he is okay with it.

He then pulled away again and the joy was beaming in his eyes.

"Was it weird, connecting a bond with another man?" He asked.

"Yes," Jed chuckled. "It was very weird."

"How long did it take for you to accept it?"

Vinny sat down next to his dad, not caring that it was mating season and Oliver's attention wasn't on him.

His soulmate had started his interrogation.

"Well, the first mating season came a few months after we connected. That kind of forced us to realise our feelings" John said.

"Before that, did you try and ignore it?"

"Yes, but it was a struggle," Jed said, remembering how hard it was to be in denial.

"When was the first time you kissed?"

John shook his head with a smile, but it was only normal for Oliver to ask these things.

"The first mating season."

"Really? You went for months without a single kiss?"

Jed nodded.

"We were very stubborn and refused to believe that we had feelings for someone of the same gender."

"I can't believe you both went through this on your own."

"But you went through it on your own," John said. "When I saw you kiss that guy when you were around sixteen-seventeen, that was the first time I knew you were gay. You didn't tell me or anyone else."

"Yeah but, deep down I always knew I was attracted to guys. That's why I had a mega crush on Vinny for like a year before we actually became soulmates" Oliver chuckled, making everyone else laugh. "But you both thought you were attracted to females, so of course, it was gonna feel a bit strange."

"We were so nervous when we first kissed" Jed chuckled.

"Wait, was dad your first kiss?!"

Jed nodded and glanced at him.

John knew the Angel was incredibly innocent and he has never felt affection or experienced love before.

That's probably why they still haven't made love. Jed is so nervous about that and they simply couldn't find the time.

Maybe now that they can express it openly, they will take their relationship further.

"So dad's your first love?" Oliver asked, trying not to embarrass him.

"Yes," Jed smiled.

Oliver put two hands on his own cheeks and grinned at him.

"I love Angels."

"Me too," John said and squeezed Jed's hand.

Oliver just about had a heart attack.

"Dad, you're so adorable!"

John laughed at this but tried to hold back his blush.

Being loving towards Jed in public will take some getting used too.

"Are you affected by mating season?" Oliver asked.

"Yes," John said. "But Jed isn't."

"Do you like the feel of his wings?"

John gave him a funny frown but Oliver didn't have an order in which these questions would come out.

"I guess. They're pretty soft."

"Do you like being close? Have you accepted your feelings now?"

"We have definitely accepted our feelings" Jed smiled. "It has been two years, you would hope there was at least some progress there."

Everyone chuckled but they were somewhat still in shock.

"Will you get married one day?"

Vinny very nearly laughed. Oliver has no filter but he loved that about him.

"Um, probably," John said but his words were quiet, showing that he was a tiny bit shy about talking about it.

Jed felt his heart speed up at his answer. He hadn't thought about marriage but they've not been together for that long. Although, they will now be together for the rest of their lives.

"I'm sorry that I tried forcing you to go on dates. I had no idea what I was doing to you both" Oliver said, still feeling a little annoyed at himself that he didn't see the signs.

"We hid it well Oliver and I know I looked a little glum yesterday. The only thing you could've assumed was that I'm lonely on mating season" John said, hating that his son felt like he had to apologise so much. "So don't worry about it, I'm happy that you tried."

Oliver nodded with a smile.

He let out a happy sigh and gazed between his dad and Jed.

He opened his mouth to ask yet another question but Rayvon beat him to it.

"Do we have to call you Grandad Jed now?" He asked.

Jed suddenly felt his age slap him across the face at hearing that word, but it filled his heart with warmth at being a member of this wonderful family.

"Yes," Vinny said, knowing that would fill the angel with pride. "Aren't you lucky, having three granddads."

Duke chuckled and looked at his son. Sometimes, he still can't believe that he's a grandad to Vinny's child.

They never thought their son would become a dad.

"Grandma, you're the only woman in the house," Rayvon said, just realising that.

"Oh, I definitely know that" Madison chuckled. "But I think I have the most authority."

Vinny rolled his eyes but deep down, that was very true.

If Madison told anyone to do something, they would do it.

Everyone agreed to that. Yes, she was the only woman, but she was powerful and wise.

Jed was beaming. He was so happy that he would be called Grandad and John couldn't stop staring at such a joyful face.

"Oh my god!" Oliver then said, grabbing everyone's attention. "You're now my stepdad!"
