"You're in charge of the camera" Madison said while handing it to Vinny.

He looked at it in his hands, knowing it was expensive and knowing it was safer in his hands than in Oliver's hands.

"I don't want to be" He said bluntly.

"Well you are" She smiled.

Vinny muttered something under his breath before walking away.

"I bet you ten pounds it'll all be pictures of Oliver" Duke said.

Madison chuckled.

"I'm not betting on that, I'll lose."

"I think I can hear the waterfall" Corey said and pulled on Panuleon's hand as he walked faster.

The angel was smiling happily to himself as he took in the fresh country air and looked at everything with so much appreciation.

Rayvon and Luka were ahead of the group, exploring their surroundings.

"There's a rabbit hole there" Rayvon said while carefully stepping around it.

Luka stood close and nervously peaked down it, trying not to get too near the burrow.

"Do you think there are rabbits in it?"

"There's only one way to find out" Rayvon shrugged and crouched down.

Luka hovered on his toes before doing the same.

He leant into him to keep his balance. Warmth rushed through them at being so close.

He watched as Rayvon blindly put his hand into the hole.

"This is not a good idea" Luka said, but it really wasn't. "What if it bites you?"

Rayvon knew he was concerned because the thought of each other being injured was too much to handle.

He pulled out his hand and looked at his best friend with a smile.

Just then, as Vinny placed the camera on the two boys, a baby rabbit jumped out and onto Luka.

He gasped and fell backwards. He squeezed Rayvon's arm in a panic and started to scramble up but Rayvon stopped him.

"It's okay" He said softly. "It's not hurting you."

Luka looked down, his eyes were filled with worry but he was right. The baby rabbit was perched on his lap without a care in the world.

"Remember, nature loves angels."

Luka's grip didn't weaken on Rayvon but he didn't mind, he knew he was a little startled.

Vinny timed that perfectly before pulling the camera away from his face and watching with a little smile.

The rabbit rubbed it's ears and looked up to Luka like it expected something.

"You should stroke it" Rayvon smiled.

Luka didn't know about that, it was only small but still unpredictable.

Rayvon watched his magical eyes as they stared at the animal.

He then reached down and gently touched the rabbit's ear, showing his soulmate that it was okay to do so.

Suddenly, three more Rabbit's popped out of the hole, making Luka jump and tense up once more.

They crowded round him and watched with interest.

"Rayvon, I-I don't-"

"It's alright" Rayvon said as he put a hand behind his back and lent his chest into his shoulder. "Don't panic."

His soft, deep voice was calming Luka but he was still very nervous.

"Oh wow" Oliver said. "Rabbits!"

Vinny snapped a picture of his grin, loving how his eyes light up.

Panuleon was standing near. He was exceptionally calm with his fingers casually linked together.

He watched closely, seeing the slight panic in his son's face but he trusted Rayvon to watch out for him.

Even before they connected the bond he would protect him from any form of danger.

"Would you like me to take it off you?" He asked.

Luka nodded. He thought the rabbit was so cute and he was honoured that it was sitting on him but he didn't trust it.

Rayvon slowly wrapped his hands around the little animal and lifted it off his soulmate.

Luka almost held his breath but the rabbit suddenly squirmed and jumped out of his grip.

Luka lept onto Rayvon, seeking his protection as the other rabbit's panicked and jumped about.

The half vampire remained calm and picked Luka up.

He walked away from the animals until he felt his soulmate's grip soften.

"They were cute" Luka breathed, making Rayvon chuckle.

"You did well to sit with it on your knee for so long."

He remembered when they went to a petting zoo a few years ago and he completely freaked out. One of those micro pigs was put on his knee but it squealed so loud and wouldn't sit still.

Luka loves animals, just from a distance.

"Shall I put you down? Everyone's staring" Rayvon asked while glancing at Corey who had the biggest smile on his face, which Panuleon was gawping at.

"No" Luka said and wrapped his legs and arms tighter around him. "I don't like ignoring our feelings anymore."

"Me neither" Rayvon said and looked anywhere but at Oliver, knowing he would be staring at them. "We need to get used to our feelings and their reactions."

"If we hold it off, they'll just get more excited whenever we're close" Luka pulled his head back and looked into Rayvon's big green eyes.

"It'll help us and them to get used to it if we're just open about it" Rayvon thought.

"Yes, and I don't mind showing it" Luka's voice was quiet as his cheeks were slightly pink.

"So, you're saying that we should be more affectionate with each other?"

"Well, if you want to."

"I definitely want to" Rayvon thought and blushed. "Our parents will go crazy but I've wanted to just be open about it from the beginning."

"Me too." Luka smiled.

Panuleon watched, knowing they were having a conversation in their heads. He was happy that they were getting used to that.

"You won't freak out if I randomly take your hand or... kiss you?" Rayvon's heart was beating so hard.

"Of course not" Luka said out loud.

"Okay then" Rayvon smiled. "I'm a little nervous actually."

"You're my best friend and now my soulmate. It's normal to be like this now" Luka thought.

"It is" Rayvon said out loud as he was getting lost in Luka's eyes. They didn't realise that he had stopped walking.

Vinny was taking pictures of them, knowing Oliver and Corey would want to look through them later.

"Shall we test it?" Rayvon thought.

"Okay" Luka smiled.

"Kiss my cheek."

Luka glanced at everyone who quickly diverted their gaze. Rayvon could suddenly feel his nerves.

"Do it" He chuckled.

Luka chewed the inside of his lip as their cheeks were crimson red.

He was sure that Rayvon could feel his heart beating against his chest before he quickly leant forwards and planted a sweet little kiss onto his warm cheek.

Vinny missed it with his camera because he was too busy holding his hand over Oliver's mouth.

The boys eyes glistened and filled with love. They smiled cutely at each other as the affection was strong in their veins.

Their grandparents were beaming from ear to ear. So was Jed who was almost ten meters away, just checking the surroundings.

"Can I request something?" Rayvon thought.

Luka nodded.

"More kisses on the cheek?"

Luka chuckled and looked down, feeling a little embarrassed but giddy at the same time.

"Okay" He said quietly.

Rayvon's heart plumped up with love at how adorable he is.

Vinny thought it was so strange how they'd randomly reply out loud to each other's thoughts. He often wondered what they were talking about.

"And on the lips?"

Luka raised his eyebrows and looked back up to him.

"You're quite flirty aren't you?"

"If this is what flirting is, then yes. Probably."

Luka chuckled and fiddled with his fingers that were still wrapped around the back of Rayvon's neck. They both knew that would happen, due to Vinny's flirty language.

Luka was definitely extremely innocent and would need time to adapt to being spoken to like that. But if it was Rayvon, he knew he would learn to love it.

Rayvon would tone it down for Luka, he loved his innocence and didn't want to ruin it.

"Boys, the waterfall isn't going to come to you, you know" Oliver chuckled as they walked passed.

"Do I have permission to push-"

"Yes" Vinny said, knowing Rayvon was asking to push Oliver in.

"Um, no. Absolutely not" Oliver said with raised eyebrows.

"Absolutely yes" Vinny said blankly and pulled on Oliver's hand. They all knew he was joking but Rayvon wasn't sure if he was or not.

Oliver is walking entertainment and everyone loved him for that.

Rayvon put Luka down and flashed a cheeky grin.

"I know that look" The half angel said while cocking his head. He was reading his mind and knew that he had settled it.

At some point today, Oliver would be entering the water.
