I squinted at the light as I walked out of the cave.  The whole pack had gathered to see us off.  Takoda smiled at me and I looked at him and did a slight smile. Akando started jogging and eventually turned into a run.  The seven of us each taking the same steps in a line all our blood pulsing at once and our hearts beating as one. 

We eventually make it to the abandoned human den.  It felt mormon there with the awful stench of burnt fur and blood. Anapay timidly followed us into the den Akando in the lead.  All of us stopped when we saw the horrific sight of a McCawn wolf on the floor with his fur burned off.
"so we weren't the only ones.. " Akando mumbled to himself.
" only ones what? "Anapay studdard trying not to look at the wolf before her.
Akando ordered two of the male wolves to take care of the wolf properly with a wolf last sleep howl out back.  Akando sat down and began to tell us the story.
" Yesterday I'm sure you all witnessed my group walk into the territory with...  Not so pleasant appearances ... Well a couple hours before I made a plan to have US go after One of the leaders of the humans all was going well until...  The fire " Akandos eyes deepened as if he was re seeing everything.  " They didn't care about the attacks...  They went straight for our fur.  They got three of us.  Me and the other two barely made it out ... " Anapay looked as if she regretted asking the question.  For such a tough Girl..  One can only take so much. 
" Alright that's enough Hinto and Anapay fetch some water for the river. This is our meeting place for a while.  Might as well clean it make it feel … safe.  The rest of you will stay and help empty it " He handed me and Anapay a bucket .It was silent until she spoke up.
" So hinto.  Do you think this is a good plan? " I looked at her puzzled " you know the whole undercover  and kill the evil humans? " I shrug
"Just following orders I guess.. " she looks at me disappointed "... But I always wondered if they ever actually tried to make peace instead of war. " She smiled
" I agree.  And I know that this wont end well.”She dipped the bucket in the water  and carried it off in her jaws towards the cabin. I did the same and followed after her.

When we returned the cabin was only half done Akando helped two of the former warriors drag beds out to get dusted, while Hongvi cleans off the piles of dust and ashes out on the front porch.
“Where do you want the water Akando ?" Anapay says setting the water bucket down so she could speak.  I do the same licking the inside of my mouth to try and get the metal taste out of my mouth.
“Just set it on the table” he managed to muffle out threw his clenched jaws around a broom stick whacking it against the beds Niabi and Tadita where holding up with ease. I set the bucket on the table and looked over at Anapay she smiled at me then her eyes flickered and her ears perked up as she looked behind me. I looked at he confused and she bowed sticking her rump in the air in the play pounce position wagging her tail. I stepped back a bit and braced myself for impact i closed my eyes and waited for a bit then opened them hesitantly to see the tip of her tail fly over me. I turned around and see Anapay running around the Cabin chasing a rat like a pup. I felt a smile crawl up my face, as the rat runs out the door Anapay tried to follow but slid on a rug by the front door flying into the wall. Scrambling to her feet she dashed out the door I had to stifle a laugh as i followed her out.
“Whats with all the racket back there “ Akando said with another smack to the bed as me and anapay ran by getting a cloud of dust shoved down our throats we both halted to a stop coughing like old grandpa wolves.
Niabi snickered “ You pups are a bunch of tail chasers.” Anapay and I rolled our eyes. Akando dropped the broom and licked his muzzle Niabi and Tabita carried the beds into the room and sat them around the table we had the water on. Akando sat down at the end of the tale and did a command bar and all of us sat around the table.
“Alright I will assign you your human dens that you will be staying at ….”
