Epilogue
"Oh my God! I am so scared! What if I mess everything up?"
"Relax Oli! Everything will be okay." Emily said, trying to calm me down.
I nodded, hoping the same.
"And anyway, you look gorgeous!" I scoffed at her compliment as I looked at myself I'm the mirror.
I looked far from gorgeous. This dress wasn't doing anything for me and made me feel rather awkward.
"But... This dress is so uncomfortable! It barely has any support. I wonder how it is even holding up."
"You don't like whatever I choose, so go Miss.Choosy and find your own clothes. I ain't gonna help." She said, rolling her eyes at my antics.
I turned around and looked at her with a puppy dog eyes. "Sorry, Emily. Please don't make me do this alone." I pleaded.
"Nun-uh. That's not going to work on me." She said as she pushed away my approaching hands towards her and plopped down on my bed.
"Fine. Whatever." I rolled my eyes now and turned around to rummage through my clothes.
Finding nothing, I sighed in defeat and lay down next to her on the bed.
"Where are you and Mr.Dreamy going anyway?"
"I don't know yet. It's a surprise." I replied.
Archer and I were finally going on a date and he had decided to hide the venue.
"I bet it's somewhere fancy." Emily said and I almost scoffed.
Archer and fancy? Nah, I don't think so.
I shook my head and laughed.
"No, I don't think we are having a dinner night." I said.
Getting up, I decided to grab my jeans and a red flannel.
Emily lifted herself on her eyebrows to peer at me, "Don't you think that that's a little too casual?"
My lips slowly raised up into a smile and I replied in a sing-song tone, "Nope. I am guessing that I should wear something comfortable as I probably know where he might be taking me." I said as his voice replayed in my mind.

Archer's POV
"Dude, I am going to fucking kill you, I swear if you start talking through that big mouth of yours."
"But I am just stating a fact." Dylan laughed as he sat across me. Luke joined him.
"Keep your facts to yourself, professor." I said, my voice threatening.
"Okay, okay." He said and raised his hands mockingly in surrender.
"But seriously dude, how did you even forget to tell her that?" Luke said and let out a laugh.
"I was... I just didn't want to ruin the surprise and anyway, I have got a pair of her clothes from her mother." I shuddered as I thought of her mother, who was in fact very excited that her daughter was going out on a date with someone.
"Just admit that you were chicken." Dylan said and smirked.
"I was not!" I replied a little too quickly. Taking a deep breath, I calmed myself down.
"Okay, fine. Both of you know that this is my first date and I... It's with Olivia. I don't want to ruin what we have, so I might have hesitated a bit." I said, regretting saying these words as soon as they escaped my lips.
Luke smiled at me, as Dylan burst out laughing.
"Dude, you are whipped." Dylan said and Luke agreed.
And I couldn't deny it, because it was true. I really was whipped.

Olivia's POV
The doorbell rang and I rushed to the downstairs to answer it but soon realized that my mom had beat me to it.
"Ah! Archer! Come in."
"No Cathy, I would rather not. I believe that Olivia and I should be leaving soon, thanks though."
"Oh, sure! Olivia!" She turned around to call me and realized that I was already witnessing the scene.
Her eyes fell on my clothing and she sceptically looked at me.
"Um. Olivia, get changed quickly! Don't keep your date waiting up." I rolled my eyes in my mind as I heard what she said.
"Mom, I have already changed." I replied. If looks could kill, I would be next to Hades right now.
My mom groaned and covered it with a cough.
"Uh. Sure! You looked well dressed. Please leave both of you. Have a safe drive."
I moved past her as she kept muttering something under her breath and joined Archer who had his gaze set on my face. I heard my mother shut down the door loudly at my back, as soon as I got out.
"Hey." I lightly said as I approached him.
"You look beautiful." I blushed at his comment.
"In a flannel?" I jokingly teased.
"Brunettes in flannels have always been my favourite." He nodded.
"Are we still talking about me? Because it sounds like you are talking about Bella Swan." I laughed.
He visibly cringed and scrunched up his nose. "I was talking about smart brunettes."
I laughed at his statement and realized that he was wearing casuals too. Sighing in relief, I got into the passenger seat as he sat in the driver seat.
"So are you going to tell me where we are going now?"
"Hm... I wasn't planning to. You will see soon. It's a surprise."
We both welcomed a comfortable silence as he drove and I looked out of the window, seeing the trees race by.
Suddenly, my senses went on high alert as I felt his hand on my knee. He lightly placed it there, but it sent heat from head to toe in my body. Blushing, I looked away but gradually relaxed and laid back in my seat.
My eyes fell on his face, observing every single detail. From his angled nose to his sharp jaw, my eyes finally rested on his pink lips.
"Like what you see?"
"Oh, I do actually. In fact, I love what I see." I bravely replied and leaned forward to kiss him on his cheek. He looked at me in surprise at my bluntness.
"I guess you are not the only one full of surprises then." I smirked.
He smiled and nodded his head in agreement.
"We're here." He announced and I looked outside to see the Paintball Centre. A smile immediately made it's way to my face as I realized that my guess was right and I flashed back to the day he told me about his little hobby.
"Oh! Come on. You could never beat me. I am the winner of the UPC." He said, challenging me.
"UPC?" I asked confused.
He put his head in the crook of my neck, embarrassed. "The Ultimate Paintball Champion." His cheeks showed a slightly pink shade that I was sure I had never seen before.
"Hm... You might be wrong about that."
"Is that a challenge I am hearing Miss. Thompson?" He smirked slightly, making my insides feel like Jell-O.
I smiled at his handsome face. "Maybe." I shrugged nonchalantly.
In an instant, I was pushed onto my back and tackled to his bed. His hands reached my sides and he started tickling furiously.
"Oh! Okay! Okay! Stop!...." I laughed, almost crying with laughter when he didn't.
"Say it. Say that I am the winner of the UPC." His face loomed over mine.
"No!" I refused, laughing.
His fingers moved faster against my sides now.
"Okay, okay! You are the winner..." I gave up.
He let go and moved back onto his side, a few inches away from me.
I silently moved to the edge of the bed.
"..Of the Ultimate Loser's Championship." I smirked as i caught the look of surprise on his face.
Coming out of his surprised state, he quickly moved towards me, like a lion hunting his prey.
But I was a lioness as well and in reality, I was the one who hunted.
Turning around, I started running outside his room into the corridor of his mother's empty home.
I heard fast steps approach me and I moved faster but came to a stop as a hand wrapped around my waist, joined by another one which lifted me up from the ground and into his arms.
I felt a hand engulf mine and looked up to see Archer's smiling face.
"Wanna go inside?"
"Yeah. Let's go." I said enthusiastically, dragging him with me.
"Calm down, tiger."
"There is no calming down now. I am going to beat your ass and get you a bit colorful, Evans." I smirked, suddenly really confident.
"Bring it on, Livvy."
* * *
I did infact beat his ass for once. It was a great colorful experience.
Changing our clothes, we exited the Paintball Centre.
"That was fun, wasn't it?" I smiled in victory.
"Sure, it was." He grumbled back in response.
Men and their big fat ego's.
"Hey! Come on! It is not that big of a deal. You did pretty well too, big guy."
"For you, shortie." No one talks about my height!
"Yeah sure, Grumpzilla."
"Oh, you would definitely say that now. Wouldn't you, Miss-Rainbows-and-unicorns?"
I snorted ungracefully and turned to face his angry self when I realized that he was smiling from cheek to cheek and was enjoying this little banter.
Keeping my mouth shut, I walked next to him to his car.
"What do you want to do next?" I turned my head to face him.
"How about some ice-cream?"
"Sounds good." I moaned as I thought of the heavenly taste of it but looking at the darkness outside realized that it was probably going to be closed now.
His eyes stared at my face for a few seconds and then he put the car into reverse, heading towards the beat ice-cream parlor which had closed. My guess was right.
"How are we supposed to eat now?" I groaned.
"The owner of this shop lives right across the street."
"... And what exactly are you getting at here?"
He moved forward, getting rid of his leather jacket.
The temperature in the little space suddenly became really hot, making me blush.
I cleared my throat. "Uh. What are you doing, Archer?"
"Taking off my T-shirt."
"Oh, thank you captain obvious! I couldn't see that."
He tore the shirt away from his glorious body in one single go and handed it over to me.
I looked at it, confused, as if it was some sort of illegal drug.
"Put it under your shirt."
"What?"
"Roll it and put it under your shirt."
I grabbed it and did as he instructed, slowly understanding what he was trying to do.
He put his jacket back on and left the car, opening my side of the door.
Getting out, I walked hand in hand with him as he approached the owner's house and rang the bell.
An old lady in her night gown answered the door.
"What in the heaven's name is happening here? It's 11 at nigh-" Her voice was cut short as her gaze fell on my belly.
"Oh my! Are you okay, dear?"
I nodded my head.
"Excuse me, ma'am. Can you please help us?" Archer asked. The forgetful lady nodded her head.
"We both are new to this town and have been travelling for a day now. My lovely pregnant wife here is really hungry. She is insisting on having only ice-cream and nothing else. Could you possibly help us?"
"Yes, dear! Of course. I will just be back in a moment."
She went inside as we both waited patiently.
She came in front of us again and handed over a pair of keys in Archer's direction.
"Here you go, honey. Take whatever you want but please don't ruin anything. I trust both of you and my back is killing me so do me a favour and eat whatever you want on your own?"
My smile widened at her generosity.
We both thanked her and started moving towards the little shop. I practically skipped there before remembering that I was supposedly pregnant.
"What do you wan-"
"Strawberry!" Before I could finish, Archer already started attacking the pink goodness.
"It's great to know that the bad boy likes strawberry ice-cream."
He rolled his eyes. "Oh, these stereotypes. Screw them!"
Agreeing with him, I dug into the basic chocolate flavour.
After creating a mess in the parlor which will make the old lady hate us the next morning, we gave her back her keys and quickly moved back into his car.
It was 11: 30 already and I thought the gala time was over when I realized that he wasn't driving towards my house.
"What's next?"
"I don't know, honestly." He replied.
"I am so glad that you sorted things out with Blake."
His jaw tightened a bit.
"Me too."
"Archer... You need to understand that it wasn't exactly his fault. You didn't loose your sister because of him." I said as my hand fell over his knee.
"I know... it's just, she was there because of him."
"But she made her own decision. She decided to go out with that biker."
"Who she met because she wanted to make Blake jealous. It was quite obvious to me that he wanted her. They could have simply gotten together and I wouldn't have minded but she threw her life away for him."
"We all make mistakes sometimes."
"I did make one too. I let her go."
I had no response to what he just had confessed.
"My parents, they never really got along. My father distracted himself from his personal life by focusing in her career of martial arts, keeping him away from the household but sometimes, he made mistakes too. He got drunk, and dare I say, even hit my mom sometimes. It was horrible, I had nightmares as I looked at them fighting. My mother, although a sweet woman, she had affairs with another men. It is quite justifiable as my father distanced himself from her always but sometimes, I even think that maybe Thea wasn't even my father's daughter."
I listened in silence, my hand moving up and down his leg.
"They both were about to get divorced and to get their case carried forward, they left us alone with our babysitter and were met with a crash. The next thing I knew, I was living with other people including Catherine, with a depressed Thea by my side and an unhappy life. Somehow, we both started to move on. I found happiness in martial arts like my cruel father while Thea had a sudden interest in boys. With Blake's entrance in her life, her happiness turned to depression once again and she did some stupid things. I just wished that I had realized her issues back then and maybe, just maybe, she could have been right next to me."
His life story had engulfed me and made me silently cry. A tear ran down his cheek that he quickly wiped off. I hadn't even realized that we had stopped in the middle of the road.
"Don't blame yourself. She wouldn't have stopped from doing what she did any which ways."
"I know but I still think that I made a really big mistake and that fact is never going to change."
"I know." I instantly climbed on top of him, embracing him in my arms. We sat like that for a long time, both of us slightly sobbing but somehow, after a few minutes we stopped crying our hearts out.
I moved away from him as my gaze suddenly landed upwards, out of the car window.
Popping open the car door, I moved out into the dark vast land with no sign of human life for a few miles. Archer followed and his words were caught in his mouth as he followed my gaze.
Climbing onto the flat bonnet of his car, I slightly later back down, joined by Archer by my side.
"It's blue moon." I said, stating the obvious and filling the void of silence with words.
His hand grasped mine as we both looked at the sky with the reddish glory.
My heart tugged as he intertwined our fingers together.
"It's so beautiful." I hushed out.
"So are you." His breath fanned my ear and I saw him looking at me.
I blushed and he moved slightly closer to my ear and whispered, "Wanna know something weird?"
"Anytime."
"I think I might have fallen for this crazy girl I know."
My breath caught in my throat.
"Oh, really?"
"But... I am not sure if she feels the same way about me."
"Why don't you tell me her name?"
He doesn't answer my question, filling the air with anticipation and nervousness.
"I like to call her shortie."
"Hey! I am not short!" I say defensively, "I am a decent 5'5. It's not my fault that you are a giant."
"I didn't even need to say her name and you knew her."
His lips covered mine before I could muster up a reply and my hands instantly went in his messy uncut hair that I loved. We both furiously released our feeling in the kiss, which started off furiously but slowed to a lovely pace. Running out of breath, I was the first one to back away and rested my forehead against his.
"I love you." The words rolled off my tongue without hesitation.
"I love you more." He replied, making my heart flutter rapidly.
Butterflies exploded in my stomach.
He suddenly got down to his knee, pulling me out of trance.
"Olivia Ann Thompson, will you go to the prom with me?" I was taken aback by his question.
Prom? Where did that come from? I had been so distracted that I even forgot that prom existed.
"Yes Archer Evans, the former winner of the UPC, I will go with you but you are in an all boy's school. I wouldn't be allowed to be your date." I smiled as I confusedly stated at him.
"You can go undercover, again." He smirked at me and winked.
Once in a blue moon, everything seemed perfect- my relationship and my future with a badass scholarship at Berkeley. I was sure that we were going to have our ups and downs but these little things only make a relationship perfect. This seemed to be a start of a life-long relationship full of excitement, love, happiness, agitation and anger but all these emotions are essential.
I never regret taking my brother's scholarship and meeting a bipolar bad boy named Archer Evans.
Going undercover as my twin has been the best decision that I made in my life.
A/N: That was a long ass chapter. I hope you enjoyed it!
