??? POV
I got bored of watching Jack cry in the corner of his new dark cell. He had been put in solitary confinement after receiving his 'punishment'.
I easily took over his terrified mind and stood up. I banged on the cell door angrily.
"Hey! Let me out or I'll let myself out!" I yelled. There was laughter on the other side before an answer.
"Yeah sure thing bud. As soon as I become a millionaire." I growled and punched the door, leaving a large dent in the metal structure.
"You gonna let me out now?" I hissed. There was a fumble of keys before the door opened. The guard stepped to the side shaking.
"Ss-sorry Anti. I didn't realize it was you," he replied shakily. I let out a dark chuckle as I leaned close to his ear.
"Just don't leave me waiting next time," I whispered coldly. I could see the shivers run down his arms. I laughed again before walking down the hall towards the old cell.
"W-welcome back Anti," the guards to the cell block said as the opened the doors. I huffed and walked in.
"Ohhh, look who's in control. How was solitary confinement ya dick," I head a Swedish voice call out.
I turned to see my friend Felix leaning on the bars of his cell. He lifted his fist up and gave me a lazy smile.
I smiled back at him, a crooked evil smile that sent everyone else retreating to the back of their cells. I lifted my hand and gave him a brofist.
"How's Cry?" I asked. I didn't entirely care about Cry but simply Mad. If Cry was doing well then Mad would usually be bored out of his mind. But if Cry wasn't then Mad was.
Felix sighed and looked down. He shuffled his feet against the concrete floor and fidgeted with his fingers.
I snorted in response. I was hoping he would be doing terribly. If Felix didn't reply it usually meant Cry was in solitary confinement for a while.
I continued shuffling down the hall, everyone cowering away as I neared their cells. An devilish smirk rested on my lips as I entered my cell and closed the door behind me. The automatic lock going off.
"Where were you?" I heard a deep voice ask. I turned to see that red haired guy standing at his door with a curious look on his face.
"Curiosity killed the cat," I huffed as I lay on my bed. I smirked at him as his face was hidden by the doors.
Once the door had closed and locked properly I let Jack take back control and returned to his broken mind. He immediately started crying again and I rolled my eyes mentally.
You're pathetic you know that.
I spat as I blocked him out and fell asleep. I'll continue having fun with him in the morning.
Mark's pov
I was so confused. Before the man was balling his eyes out. Now he's walking around as if he owns the place. What is going on?
I'll ask him in the morning if he even gives me the chance to. But for now, I need some sleep.
I climbed back into bed and pictured a fire. The flickering reds, oranges and yellows. The small fairies that would fly up and away from its burning heart. The crackle it made as it ate away at anything it touched.
I soon fell asleep but what I dreamed about was anything but peaceful...
~smol time skip. What? You thought I was gonna say his dream. Nah bro~
I woke up to the sound of yelling on the other side of the door. I lay in silence just listening to what the people were saying.
"You need to stay in your cell. I'm sorry sire but you must," a guard said. He sounded terrified.
"I don't want to be in this boring cell anymore. Let me out," that sounded like the green haired man but... Different.
"I'm sorry, you killed someone. You must stay in your cell since you didn't stay in solitary confinement," the guard was getting desperate. His words sounded more like cries for help.
"Fine, I'll just let Jack take over. This place is disgusting anyway," the man spat before there was a pained growl followed by sobs.
"Jack?" The guard asked quietly but I heard it through the walls. Everyone else in the hall seemed to have fallen silent.
"I didn't want to do it. He made me. I didn't have a choice. He has control of me. He's stronger. I'm not crazy! He is! He's talking to me. He won't shut up..." The sobbing voice cried.
I'm presuming the green haired man was called Jack. But who is HIM?
I wouldn't think about him. He can hear you.
My voice called. I growled under my breath. I was sick of him always showing up when I didn't want him.
"Shove it up your tight ass," I hissed under my breath. A dark chuckle rang through my ears.
You're feisty today. What's gotten into you? A bad dream?
I froze. How did he know? Did he read my mind? Did he cause the dream?
I was still confused when the doors opened and I saw Jack sitting in the corner of his room crying. It was heartbreaking.
I know I saw him crying yesterday but something now made it seem worse. He seemed more broken than upset. He was a mess. Did he do this to him?
I didn't get to think about it because I was shoved out of my cell and forced down the hall. The guards were being more forceful now. What got into them?
If they keep pushing us around I'm gonna cut their throats.
I swallowed down the lump that formed in my throat and tried to avoid being shoved as much by walking a little faster. It seemed to work and they stopped shoving me around.
I quickly stepped into the cafeteria and the door was closed behind me. I let out a sigh in relief before getting my food and proceeding to my table. The guys ended up joining me soon after.
But then something rather odd happened. Everything was normal until a door was opened next to us and a patient was shoved in. He fell to his hands and knees and didn't even try to get up.
It was Jack...
When he didn't make an attempt to stand the guard pulled out a remote control. I then realized Jack was wearing a shock collar. I flinched when his scream filled the room, echoing off the high walls.
"Get up!" The guard spat. Jack slowly climbed to his feet, looking to the floor as the guard gave him orders. He just nodded to them to show he was listening.
Once the guard left Jack fell to the floor again and hugged his knees. I hated seeing him cry. It didn't seem to suit him.
I got up and knelt down I front of him, putting a hand on his shoulder. His head shot up and he looked at me. I shushed him to calm him down.
"Its okay Jack, I'm not gonna hurt you," I said softly.
"H-how did y-you know my n-name?" He choked out. I smiled weakly at him and nervously rubbed the back of my neck.
"I overheard the guard calling you that this morning. I kinda guess it was you actually," I stopped when I realized he wasn't looking at me anymore but staring off past me blankly.
"I'm not crazy. They blame me for what you did," he whispered. I was completely confused. What was he talking about?
"Jack? Are you alright?" I tried shaking him but it didn't work. His face turned to anger and he stood up, grabbing his head and shaking it side to side.
"No no no! That wasn't my fault. Don't make it my fault," he nearly shouted it. I felt everyone's eyes on us. I had to do something fast.
"Jack, stop. No ones blaming you for anything," I tried to snap him out of it. He suddenly stopped moving. He stopped mumbling things to himself. He just froze.
"I'm sorry Signe," he whispered before running out of the room. I hadn't even realized the guards had opened the doors. It quickly closed behind him and the room fell into hushed whispers.
I only had one thought that could register in my head. Who's Signe?
Yeah, who is that. I have no clue XD.
