{Caroline's P.O.V}: I slowly awoke from my bed in the guest room. Although, I previously had my own bedroom in my house that was destroyed by some giant creature. I was living in an apartment building and it was a shitty one too, especially the neighbors - who are always eyeing my body. I don't worry about them eyeing me or trying to break into my apartment building to sleep with me. What truly concerned me was that this had been the best damn rest I ever  experienced. I turned to stare at the digital clock; it read 7:25 AM which was unusually early for me, but that's because I usually don't fall asleep until almost 12:00 AM. So yeah I slept well. I sat up and got out of bed before stretching for a bit. Eventually, I made my way to the bathroom and got myself ready for the day. I head downstairs to the kitchen and saw Bruce cooking breakfast. 

"Morning, Bruce" I said, giving him a little wave. He stopped and turned around to look at me. He smiled tiredly at me. "Morning, Caroline. How did you sleep?" he asked me. "Like a rock" I said, smiling back at him. "Good, we're gonna need it for when Godzilla wakes up again" Bruce remarks.  "Did you already forget ?" I said looking at him with a big smirk on my face. "Noooo?..." He whines, looking at me with a confused look on his face, which made me giggle quietly. "Today we have to be at the site the commander was taking about, does that ring a bell?" I said smirking. "Oh yeah, that site." He said with a sheepish grin on his face. "Want some coffee?" He asked me. "Oh, yes please!" I replied, smiling. We sat down, had some breakfast, and got ready before getting in the car; we're heading to a military base where we will be boarding a cargo plane which is waiting for us there.

                                [Two and a half hours later]

"Welp, we're here" Bruce said as he and I got out of the car. "Yeah, a long trip, but at least it was a decent one."

"Captain!" said Bruce to a skinny man that stood almost 6 feet tall. "You all set? 'Cause this is going to be a long flight to a different continent?" He asked us. "Yes", Bruce spoke for the both of us. "We already got snacks and we will probably be sleeping on the way" Bruce continued. We boarded the plane and after about half an hour, we were cleared for takeoff.

                                          [Roughly 11 hours later]

We got off the plane after a long journey, even though we mostly slept through it.

"Well Caroline... welcome to America!"
