April 2nd 1992

Bruce's POV : I awoke to the sound of loud beeps coming from my night stand next to my bed.

"Shut up." I groaned and rolled over on my bed but the loud beeping continued.

"Shut up I groaned louder and put a pillow over my head but the beeping continued.

"Shut up!" I yelled ripping my alarm clock off my night stand in anger and threw it acrossed the room it hit the wall of my room and smashed into many pieces on the floor, I got out of bed turned to see the broken pieces of what was my alarm clock "well there goes my 8th alarm clock this year." I sighed as went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I walked down the stairs and headed straight to the dinning room to get something for breakfast I sat down with some eggs and bacon with two pieces of toast and a glass of orange juice I looked at my clock that was hanging on the wall the Time was 8:25 am. I had to be at G-force headquarters at 11:30 am since from were I lived was a 2 hour drive to G-force headquarters. I always left at ten minutes to nine so I would have to eat quickly so I can finish getting ready for today. After breakfast I left my house and got into my car and started to head to G-force headquarters. " time to start another boring day at headquarters as usual." I said with a groan as pulled on to the highway.

                                                                   2 hours later.

I drove up to the headquarters I looked at the time on my watch it said 10:58 am. "With 32 minutes to spare." I said trying to pep myself to not get bored again,but that never really worked out that way, for me at least. I sighed as I drove up to the gates I rolled down my driver side window and pressed the button and waited.

"Identification." I man said in tough manly tone.

"Bruce,Bruce Owens." I responded trying to make myself sound ready for today when I really wasn't.

"Come in, the commander wants you in his office, he wants to speak with you he has a job for you." The man said.

"Okay" I said still keeping the act.

"Also between you and me I know you putting up an excited act after knowing you for almost a year I know your bored." The man said.

("Alright I guess you caught me") I said mentally, the gates opened and I drove in, I parked in my usual parking spot and walked in to the building, when I got into the building I headed straight for the commanders office.

                                                                 A little while later.

I arrived at the commanders office, I walked up to the door and knocked.

"Who's their?" The commanders voice echoed through the door.

"It's Bruce Owens commander sir, you needed to speak with me." I responded back.

"Ah,Bruce that I did, come in."the commander said through the door.

I opened the door and he as usual was siting in his chair drinking a cup of coffee but then I saw a young woman about my age sitting on the right side of the commanders desk.("who is she, I've never seen her here in headquarters before") I said and was about to speak when the commander said.

"Bruce,have a seat." He said pointing to the chair next to the new girl.which I did. "Now Bruce this girls name is Caroline, i'm Putting you in charge and showing her the ropes and help her get around the headquarters, plus you two will be heading to a Mount Fuji they have reported some citizens there have reported some strange sound some reported it sounded like roaring coming from inside the base of the mountain and I want you two to help find out what it is." The commander said.

"Yes sir of course sir." I Said saluting to the commander.

"Good, you two are dismissed." Commander said to the both of us. The both of us then got up and walked out of the commanders office.

"So are you ready for me to show you around?" I said to Caroline who looked like if she was thinking about something but it only was for a split second before she looked at me.

"Yes,mister.."she said before I cut her off.

"Bruce, just call me Bruce." I said slightly smiling at her.

"Well then, yes Bruce i'm Ready t." That was she said before the alarm went off in building. ("Another fire drill again?") I said annoyed until the announcements went off.

"I guess today won't be usual as always." I though to myself.
