Pierced through and through by Godzilla's repeated atomic rays, engulfed in flames and explosions, Sek'Mor's great ship accelerated its fall towards the ocean. Godzilla, driven by a powerful desire to make the main culprit of his suffering pay, pursued relentlessly. Advancing alongside him, King Caesar supported him and also generated a beam of energy from the jewel of his bone crown. Mothra was not left behind, flying towards the skies in order to capture the solar radiation in her wings, drawing considerable power from which she used to create a myriad of luminous and burning projectiles that fell in a deadly rain on the alien ship.

In addition, Monarch's USS Argo, under the direction of Ilene Andrews and Colonel Diane Foster, joined the assault and sent a salvo of its powerful missile batteries against the alien craft.

_"Target hit!" one of the operators indicated in front of his screen.

_"Let's do another pass and send another salvo, quickly!" then ordered Foster.

_"The reinforcements are coming! Look!" then said Ilene while indicating the appearance of several points on the radar screen.

Warned of the presence of terrorist forces on their soil and the presence of an unidentified aircraft in their airspace, the Japanese army had sent a squadron of fighter planes, which upon their rapid approach through the sky, opened fire on the alien ship to support the already well-fed fire of Monarch and the titans. Faced with the devastating strike force of the three now unified titans and the humans, the ship continued its inexorable fall.Finally, it was in a spectacular crash that the alien ship touched the surface of the ocean, lifting columns of water tens of meters into the air and sinking slowly and progressively into the depths under the gaze of the three titans.

Meanwhile, on the ground, most of the Alpha Breed terrorists had been downed or injured badly enough to be taken out of action and arrested, but some had managed to escape thanks to the ambient chaos. After taking down Za'ar, Nami Kunigami had been located and recovered by three of Monarch's soldiers who had rushed to rescue her and bring her to cover towards their positions.

Further out on the battlefield, amidst the black smoke and the flames of the explosions, a decisive fight was going on. Despite being outnumbered, Alan Jonah was able to hold off Mark and Madison Russell thanks to his experience and skills as a former soldier and MI6 agent. Mark tried to land several blows on him, but Jonah parried them all effectively and counterattacked just as fearsomely with a well-placed knee to the stomach followed by a painful armlock and a sweep to the legs to send Mark falling violently to the ground.

Madison, after receiving another blow and being half stunned during the fight, managed to regain some breath and her senses. Not far from her she noticed Jonah's military knife, the latter having lost it a few moments before in the fight against Mark. Driven by a visceral rage towards Jonah and taking advantage he was too focused on her father, Madison picked up the knife and threw herself at him from behind in a howl of fury. She tried to stab him in the face but in a move of defensive reflex, Jonah managed to deviate the trajectory of the blade but got stabbed the right shoulder, making him grimace and give a brief grunt of pain. But hardened in body and mind, Jonah did not let himself be put down so easily and with a movement of his head, struck Madison a violent blow with the back of his head.

Dazed by the blow, Madison fell heavily into the grass, her nose bleeding.Delivering another kick to Mark's stomach to prevent him from getting up and to buy time, Jonah then pulled the blade of the knife out of his shoulder with a sharp jerk, gritting his teeth against the pain and a trickle of blood soaking his coat. But completely ignoring his injury, his gaze filled with hatred, Jonah approached Madison, pinning her to the ground and to make her feel the same pain, stabbed her in the shoulder in turn. The pain was indescribable for the young woman who let out a scream of pain, this one intensifying as Jonah slightly rotated the blade in the flesh out of simple sadism. A tear starting in the corner of her eye because of the pain, Madison tried to free herself but could do nothing against the iron grip of the former elite soldier. She was completely at his mercy. Pulling the blade out of the flesh, making her suffer even more, Jonah displayed an almost insane smile. Too weakened, Madison could only look at him but refused to beg him.

At the sight of his daughter, his last child still alive, stabbed and screaming in pain, Mark Russell lost all control and with a leap driven by an energy of pure rage, rushed towards Jonah to kill him with his own hands. But Jonah, perfectly calm, seemed to have foreseen it and using once again his experience and his military mastery, dodged Mark's blow and grabbed him, keeping turning the situation to his advantage. Powerless and in shock, Madison could only watch Alan Jonah's armed hand, in a lightning movement, brutally stab her father right in the heart. Eyes wide, Mark froze, breathless.

_"NOOOOO!" Madison screamed in absolute despair.

Unable to react anymore, Mark remained silent, his gaze lost while Jonah's came to meet his.

_"Send Emma Russell my regards." Jonah then breathed in a satisfied and macabre tone, then pulled the bloody blade out of his knife.

Holding her bleeding shoulder, Madison stood up and rushed to her father who collapsed in the grass as Jonah stepped back. Mark was barely conscious, gasping for air. Falling to her knees next to her father, Madison, completely panicked and in tears, tried to press on the wound to stop the blood from flowing, even if it was in vain.

_"M... Madie..." Mark stammered in his barely audible voice.

_"NO! NO! DADDY, LOOK AT ME! STAY WITH ME!!" Madison cried. "HELP! SOMEONE!"

Madison was so panicked for her father that she had completely forgotten about Jonah, who stood there a few meters behind and watched the scene with a certain unhealthy satisfaction, still holding his bloody army knife in his hand. Madison's back was offered to him, making an ideal target for a well-placed blow to the spine. He was about to do so, but the approaching voices and footsteps of Monarch soldiers in the smoke stopped him and he preferred to flee.

_"Until we meet again, Madison Russell." he growled softly before disappearing into the meanders of black smoke caused by the chaos.

Madison didn't even hear him and didn't even realize he was running away, too focused on her father. Although she continued to press on the wound, she refused to acknowledge the inevitability of this tragedy and in the face of this futile determination, Mark managed to gather enough of his last strength to stay conscious for a few more moments and came to touch his daughter's cheek in tears, smiling at her and wanting to make her understand it was useless.

_"Madie... I... am so sorry..."

These were the only words he managed to say before his hand fell heavily into the grass and his eyes closed, never to open again. With trembling lips, Madison continued to cry all the tears in her body, begging her father to open his eyes and even shaking him a little in despair to try to make him react.

A group of Monarch soldiers then arrived to witness the tragedy that had just occurred. With them was Nami Kunigami, who covered her mouth, horrified and saddened at the sight of Madison in tears hugging the body of her deceased father. One of the Monarch's men activated the radio integrated into his helmet to announce the bad news of the loss of Doctor Mark Russell to the USS Argo. From the control room of the craft, Ilene Andrews and Diane Foster heard the news and remained in shock, unable to say a single word.

At the same time, Madison, still holding her father's body against her, let anger take over sadness and let out a scream of rage towards the skyas heavy rain began to fall across the region.

Meanwhile, a strange phenomenon began to occur. At the very spot where the giant alien ship had crashed and sunk, the ocean water began to smoke and boil like in a pot, over a very large circular perimeter. In addition, a disturbing and powerful reddish glow manifested itself from the depths. Alerted by their millennial instincts of titans, Godzilla, King Caesar and Mothra, still on the beach of the bay, wary, turned their attention to the phenomenon. Blowing through their nostrils and emitting a dull growl, Godzilla felt that something was approaching... Something unnatural and extremely dangerous.From the USS Argo, the crew could observe the same disturbing vision.

_"What the hell is going on?" Foster whispered.

_"Colonel, the scanners are detecting a colossal source of electromagnetic nature approaching!" one of the operators indicated in front of his screen. "The sensors are going crazy, it's..."

The man could not finish his sentence and jumped when the screen in front of him exploded, the unknown electromagnetic source detected being so high that the ship's devices could not support it and were going crazy. Concern and incomprehension grew among the crew. But all this was quickly swept away by the sudden appearance of an immense ray of red energy that exploded out of the ocean to rise towards the sky and pierce the clouds. Humans and titans alike witnessed this. From the cliffs, Madison, Nami and the men of Monarch could also see the phenomenon. The same feeling of confusion but also fear crossed all the human souls who witnessed this vision. But this terror only increased when in the middle of the burning bubbling of the water, something immense began to emerge from the surface.

This thing, as strange as it was monstrous, was gigantic, reaching a height of 120 meters. A straight stocky humanoid body, entirely composed of a dark gray-blue techno-organic alloy and covered with thick metal plates like a kind of armor and a reptilian tail, also composed of perfectly assembled mechanical and organic elements. A series of steel spikes descended vertically along its abdomen and on its back were deployed metallic growths almost similar to draconic wings and spitting flames and smoke allowing the thing to fly and levitate in the air. Its two arms ended, at the elbows, with long, fearsome-looking serrated steel blades, as well as curved steel claws on its feet, like a velociraptor. Its head was just as monstrous as the rest, a mix of bird and reptile, entirely mechanical. A steel beak filled with sharp teeth, two horns on the sides of the head like tusks, a large metal crest on the top of the head and a cybernetic red shining visor acting as a single eye.

The mere sight of this creature was enough to shock humans to the highest degree. Madison froze. This thing was even more monstrous than the Mechagodzilla from Apex.Aboard the Argo, Ilene couldn't suppress a shiver of anguish at crossing it.

_"My god... What is this abomination?" was all she could say.

For their part, the titans took position, immediately sensing the hostility of this thing. Godzilla could not, however, prevent one detail from jumping out at him. He could feel it... This unnatural creature had a part of titan, and not just any titan... Muto Prime! He could clearly feel the essence of his former enemy impregnating this metal carcass.

As he rose into the air several meters above the ocean, the heavy rain streaming down his metal skin, Gigan let out a shrill roar that shook the air, a disturbing and abominable mixture of organic and mechanical sounds while lightnings exploded in the sky. A powerful field of electricity erupted from his body in a radius of several meters. Scanning the area in front of him with his glowing visor, the cyber-organic alien titan immediately focused his attention on the beach. His sensors then harpooned his priority target: Godzilla.Not wasting a moment, Gigan erupted his dorsal thrusters, propelling himself forward at a speed that was incredible for his gigantic size.Two of the Japanese army planes that were in the monster's path did not have time to make an evasive maneuver and were hit and pulverized by Gigan who continued his flight as if nothing had happened.

Godzilla, Mothra, and King Caesar barely had time to react before the giant cyborg came straight at them, shattering the area in a landing so brutal that Mothra and King Caesar were thrown back by the shockwave. Godzilla, much more massive and heavy, was only slightly destabilized but was completely blinded by the cloud of sand and dust. Like a devil from hell, Gigan burst forth in front of Godzilla and violently impaled him in the shoulders with his blades. The king of the monsters let out a roar of pain as he was pushed back against the cliff by the cybernetic abomination. The shock was so violent that the vibrations reached the place where Madison, Nami and Monarch's men were. They, pressed for time, hurried to evacuate the two young women while two of them took Mark's lifeless body. The USS Argo then arrived towards the ground, opening its main airlock to allow the survivors to board. As she climbed the catwalk and was tended to by a medic who squeezed her shoulder to stop the bleeding a little, Madison threw a more than worried glance over her shoulder at Godzilla.

Still impaled by the blades, Godzilla struck Gigan several blows with his head and claws, but the last did not even react. The giant alien cyborg activated an electrical device from his body to electrocute and stun Godzilla to prevent him from struggling too much. Gigan then activated his thrusters again and flew away, taking Godzilla with him, who could not free himself. Regaining their senses, King Caesar and Mothra watched in confusion as the alien abomination flew away inland, taking Godzilla with him. Without hesitating for a second, the two titans stood up. Mothra, with a shrill scream, flew away and went after Gigan, while King Caesar jumped over the cliff in a single leap and began running as fast as he could to follow the queen of monsters.

Meanwhile, aboard the USS Argo, the crew had also been able to see the whole scene. Foster and Ilene had rushed to the radar screen.

_"Oh no... They're heading straight for Tokyo!" Ilene gasped in horror.

_"Contact Monarch HQ on site! Tell them to open the anti-titan bunkers and get the population to safety, now!" Foster ordered to her operators.

The task was immediately set to work and the first urgent communications were sent. Deciding to also take part in the defense of the country against this thing from another world and to support Godzilla, the USS Argo changed course and began to follow the titans, accompanied by the armada of Japanese military aircraft while other Monarch ground forces arrived at the site of the confrontation to set up a security perimeter, take away the captured terrorists, the bodies of the fallen soldiers as well as the remains of the alien Za'ar.
