During your shower the next morning, you heard your mothers voice, loud and clear because she was yelling. You tried to block out her screaming as you finished your shower, and quickly dried off afterwards. You put your clothes on and put your cast back on, then you headed downstairs as you slightly towel-dried your hair.

"Oh, there you are!" Your mother screamed.

You tried to walk over to your dad, but she grabbed your arm and pulled you towards her.

You pulled your arm out of her grip and put your hand over the spot she grabbed. "Don't grab me like that."

She rolled her eyes. "The wedding is tomorrow."

Your stomach dropped, and you thought you were going to throw up. "It's not supposed to be until another month."

"Yeah, well, it sucks to suck, huh?" She crossed her arms. "Daehyun got impatient, so he demanded it be moved."

You took a deep breath and looked away for a moment. You were going to be the bigger person, and you were going to dismiss it like everything was fine.

"Okay." You sighed.

She smiled and crossed her arms smugly. "I knew you'd come to your senses."

You bit the inside of your lip to keep from snapping at her, and you looked at your dad. "Can I talk to you really quick?"

He nodded and followed you to the kitchen. "The conference?" He asked.

You nodded. "We have to move it to today."

"I'll send out emails, while you get stuff ready. Sound good?"

"Sounds great."

You and your father, along with your stylist that always went to the conferences, got to the company building about an hour and a half early. You went backstage with her while your father went around with the tech guy to check everything, and she sat you down in front of the large vanity.

"Are you nervous?" She asked.

"A little, but I'm ready to get this off my chest."

"I bet." She said, starting to do your hair. "I can't imagine how you've felt this past month or so."

"It's been hard."

She got the straightener ready and straightened your hair, framing your face perfectly. After your hair was done, she started on your makeup, doing a simple but elegant look. Lastly, you got your dress on and she looked over it.

"It's perfect, Y/N."

The dress you were wearing made you look elegant, and like you were on a mission, which you were. Your h/c hair went perfect with the dress, and made you look more professional than some of the CEOs you knew, even with your cast on your wrist.

Your father helped you put your mic on, and as you were about to walk out onto the stage, your mother busted through the side doors. "Y/N!" What do you think you're doing?!"

You looked at her and kept a straight face. "As a part of the family business, I'm allowed to call for conferences."

You walked out onto the stage, and everyone clapped while the lights came on and you made your way to the middle of the stage. You smiled as everyone got quiet, and you adjusted your mic. Hyunjin, Yejoon, and Taejin were watching you fondly from their spot at the front.

"She looks really intimidating," Taejin whispered. "But in a good way, like she's about to kick someone's ass."

"She looks gorgeous." Hyunjin added.

Yejoon and Taejin turned to him simultaneously, gawking at the way he was looking at you. His eyes were literally sparkling and he had the cutest smile on his face.

"Thank you all for coming here tonight." You smiled. "This conference will be a bit different than our usual 'strictly business' conferences."

You didn't notice, but Daehyun was starting to stand up from his seat.

"I want to address a few things that are currently happening, but I'll try to keep it short and simple." You paused. "I'm supposed to be getting married to Kim Daehyun tomorrow. The reason I'm talking about this is because it's a serious issue that has caused me to be diagnosed with situational depression. Daehyun doesn't know how to keep his hands off of me, and I've told him many times not to touch me, he's tried taking advantage of me twice, and he broke my wrist. I even had a nightmare about him once, and it sent me to the hospital, and that's when the doctors diagnosed me with situational depression-"

"Get her off the stage, now!" You turned back to see Daehyun being held back by security. "She is ruining me!"

You turned back to your audience. "See, at first, I thought my biggest enemy would be being part of the family business, because I hated the idea of it. But my mother arranged the marriage, and I told myself that I could talk her out of it because maybe, just maybe, she loved me enough to not make me suffer." You shook your head and chuckled. "I was wrong though, because every time I said something about the marriage, she pushed me away. So the only people that heard me out and wanted to help me were my father, Daehyuns mother, Hyunjin, and Yejoon. Then a little later, I found out that my mother was having an affair with-"

It was your mother storming towards you this time. "You bitch! That is no ones business except mine!"

Once again, security dragged her back and you took a quiet breath. "She's having an affair with Mr. Kim, Daehyun's father. She's also filing for a divorce, and I have a hunch that Mr. Kim might've filed for a divorce as well. I'm saying all of this because everyone needs to know the kind of people you're doing business with."

You paused and found Daehyun in the crowd, still being held by security. "And Daehyun, I'm not getting married to you. Don't ever try to touch me again, or anybody that I love, because I will not hesitate to tell everyone about it. Grow up and start being respectful." You paused and bowed at your audience. "Thank you for hearing me out. I hope all of you have learned something from this conference."

You started walking away, but you stopped and turned around slowly, smiling. "One more thing. The main reason I didn't want to marry Daehyun is because I have my heart set on someone else- Hyunjin."

You smiled big as you scurried off backstage. Your dad gave you a big hug, one of those hugs that told you he was proud of you.

"You did so good, kiddo." He smiled.

"Thank you."

As soon as you stepped back from the hug, you were pushed to the side, then you were turned around and grabbed by the arm.

Daehyun got in your face. "Why would you do that to me? After everything I've done for you?"

"Everything you've done for me?" You laughed. "Are you talking about making me miserable? Because if so, you got what you deserved."

Before your dad could even try to get him off of you, someone pushed him back, and you rubbed the spot where he grabbed your arm. Hyunjin had ahold of Daehyuns shirt, and you could see the fear in his eyes

"She just told you not touch her." Hyunjin said.

"She just ruined my life."

"She put you in your place, because no one else would." He replied.

You walked up and put your hand on Hyunjins back, and he stepped back for you. You dug the heel of your high heel into Daehyuns foot and got in his face.

"Don't think I won't do this again, Daehyun. I will make sure everyone knows what you did, so don't test me."

You stepped off his foot and turned back to Hyunjin, who you had to admire. His hair was styled perfectly, he had a white button up on, with a dark blue jacket over it. (like in double knot).

"You look nice." You smiled.

"And you look stunning." He smiled and pulled you into a hug. "You did so great up there."

"Thank you. I feel a lot better now."

He pulled back and kissed you. "I would feel a lot better if I didn't have to marry Daehyun."

You laughed. "Exactly."
