___
The next morning, you looked in the mirror, the puffiness in your eyes making you sigh. You took a shower and got ready for the day- in leggings and a big t-shirt, since you truly didn't feel like dressing up. You had to pull yourself together before the banquet later that day, though, or your mother would kill you.
You grabbed your things and headed downstairs, but you were stopped as soon as you opened the front door. "Y/N-"
"Do not talk to me." You snapped, walking out of the door and slamming it shut.
You got in your car and rested your head on the steering wheel, the tears and nauseousness coming back all at once. You managed to get to school, and when you walked in with your head down, Hyunjin and Yejoon knew something was wrong.
"Y/N?" Yejoon asked softly. "You didn't text us the details last night. You always do when something happens, and you promised."
You looked up and the boys' expressions dropped at your watery eyes and tear stained cheeks. "I'm sorry. I just-"
You choked back a sob and Hyunjin pulled you into his chest, while Yejoon stroked your hair. "It's okay. You can tell us when you're ready." Hyunjin whispered.
You pulled away and they both looked at you with sad expressions. "That dinner last night, was with the Kim family." You started, taking a shaky breath. "And my mother announced that she had arranged a marriage for me, with Daehyun."
Their jaws dropped, and your body wracked with sobs. Hyunjin's heart broke at your words, not only because he liked you so much, but because you were so hurt. Yejoon didn't even know what to do with himself, but he knew he wanted to help you.
"We're so sorry." Hyunjin whispered. "But we'll be right here, right by your side, and hopefully we can do something about it."
You wiped your eyes and looked at him. "Do you know what he said to me, Hyunjin? He grabbed my arm and he said, 'Hyunjin can't save you this time', and that was scary." You whimpered.
"I'll always be here for you, and he can't do anything about that." Hyunjin reassured you.
Yejoon gave you a small smile. "We're both here for you, Y/N."
You nodded and Yejoon said his goodbyes so he could go to class. Hyunjin kept his hand on your back as both of you walked to your first class, and at one point you spotted Daehyun. You felt sick, and luckily you were next to the bathrooms. You ran inside, just to get away, and splashed some cold water on your cheeks. You cleaned up and walked back out, and you hated the broken look in Hyunjin's eyes; it made your heart ache.
"You guys are still coming to the banquet tonight, right?" You asked.
"Of course we are."
You looked at yourself in your mirror, clad in the beautiful wine red dress that you picked out. You still felt terrible, but you didn't look the part, luckily. There were ten minutes before the banquet started, but you already heard several guests downstairs. Your door opened, and you looked over, relieved to see Hyunjin and Yejoon. Hyunjin looked absolutely amazing in his suit, even though you'd already seen it on him, and Yejoon looked adorable in his red blazer and bow tie.
"You guys look very fancy." You smiled.
"We don't look nearly as good as you, girl." Yejoon said, pointing at your dress. "That looks like expensive material."
You laughed and got off your bed, walking over to them. "This dress was very expensive."
You headed downstairs, the boys right behind you. You sighed at the amount of guests, and the three of you stayed in your little corner.
"Ah, Mrs. Kim!"
Your heart dropped as you looked over, seeing your mother hugging Mrs. Kim. Daehyun walked in behind her and her husband, and he immediately spotted you. You cursed under your breath and looked down.
"Baby." Daehyun announced, pulling you off of the wall and making you nearly trip.
"I'm not your baby." You grumbled, for the nth time in the past week.
He hummed and looked at the boys. "Why are they here?"
"I invited them, rude. This is my house."
"But, you're mine."
You pushed him away from you. "I will never be yours."
Hyunjin gently pulled you away from Daehyun, stepping in front of him. "Let Y/N have a nice night where she's not being harassed."
"Yeah, or we'll kick your butt." Yejoon chimed in, making you laugh.
Daehyun raised an eyebrow and walked away. You hadn't noticed how much time passed by until your mother stood in the front of the room.
"Hello, everyone! Thank you for making it out tonight. We have a very special announcement to make, but I need my family up here with me." She said.
The boys gave you a pat on the back and you walked to the front of the room, standing by your father. He gave you a small smile before focusing on your mother.
"As you know, the L/N business is growing immensely and we're very thankful for that, but we always like to improve." She paused. "That's why we are officially putting our daughter into the family business!"
Your stomach turned and you lost your balance for a moment, but your dad caught you. "Did you know about this?" You asked him.
He nodded. "I'm sorry, Y/N."
"I love you, Dad, but sorry isn't going to fix this!" You snapped, quiet enough so no one else would hear.
You walked away from the front of the room and back to the boys, the waterworks starting up again, but Yejoon blew on your face.
"Your makeup is so pretty, don't ruin it." He pouted.
Your eyebrows jumped. "Seriously?"
He mumbled a 'sorry' under his breath, and Hyunjin looked at you. "I thought this wasn't about you?"
You closed your eyes for a moment. "I thought that too, Hyunjin."
You looked around the room and spotted Daehyun, who blew you a kiss, then you spotted your mother, who was grinning at you, and then your dad, who was staring at you with sorry eyes, but that wasn't going to fix the damage that was already done.
And you had no idea what to do.
