Marie was still shocked, she felt tears running down her eyes and he ran to hug her small frame that was ready to collapse. He held her and rubbed her back soothingly, he kissed the top of her head and looked at her while he put a hand on her cheek. Oh he had missed those eyes so much, he had missed everything about her so much.

"I am sorry....I am so sorry Marie, I shouldn't have left I know but..." he started but she shushed him

"It's fine Jon, for once you had to look after yourself....it's fine Jon" she whispered softly after a long time, she felt like the girl that would ran in the gardens endlessly with him.

"No...I left you to Robb, I was a coward Marie. Only because I couldn't...." he started and stopped before he would say anything he would regret. "I will get you out of here Marienna....just come with me" he said and she nodded

As he freed her and they walked together out of the cell she held onto him, she leaned on his shoulder and took a deep breath to relax a little. And she found herself remembering an old feeling Jon could always made her feel. She felt that finally, after a long time....she was home. As they walked and avoided the guards he took her to his old room and closed the door while he smiled to the shyly

"Thank you, Jon" she whispered softly and sat on the bed while watching him, after a long silence she finally asked him what she had been wanting to ask for a long time "why did you leave before the wedding?" She asked while looking at him

He froze for a moment and turned to her, he was speechless. Her gaze and her question took his words away. He smiled a little, maybe he should tell her the truth. He inched closer until he was in front of her at the bed, he smiled and caressed her cheek gently.

"Because....I loved you Marienna and I couldn't stand watching you getting married to someone else, especially to Robb. I couldn't stand it" he whispered and she almost gasped

"You loved me?" She whispered surprised

"Yes...and I still do" he answered and let a breath out while looking into her eyes and he slowly pressed his lips to hers

Jon had dreamt this moment for a long time, he dreamt of the day he would hold her in his arms again and the day he would kiss her. It was all he ever wanted was right there in front of him. When he pulled away he looked into her eyes...she didn't feel the same

"I am sorry...I-" he started but was caught off

"No, don't apologize. It was good, I liked it...I needed it" she whispered and smiled a little

"But you don't want me like that...do you?" He asked and smiled sadly

She thought about it, she always saw Jon as a more brother like figure but...but did she really had no romantic feelings for him? She didn't really know, she had just lost Herastus and now Robb was back... oh Robb. That big love of hers. But Jon...Jon was a face she had almost forgotten after the Red Wedding, but deep in her heart he would always be her first priority.

"Jon, I....I have just lost my fiancé. Herastus and Robb, my ex husband is here and...and you. You are my clarity, the peace in the war" she whispered and put her hand on his cheek smiling a little

"I am sorry for your loss....do you want to...stay with me, like try things out?" He asked hopefully

"Um....yes, if you are asking me to marry you I am not sure yet. I have an army to take back, three dragons to find and a whole North to take from an unworthy king" she said nodded while Jon smiled and took her hand

That moment Robb burst inside with two guards and Maegal jumped in fear, then Jon hugged her and kept her in his arms while they looked at an angry Robb

"You! Traitor! You took her out! I ordered you, not to do so!" He shouted and walked to them but he saw that Marie inched closer to Jon, if that was even possible. He sighed

"I wanted to bring her here and take care of her, I won't set her free Robb and you don't order me. Know your position brother" he said in all seriousness

"Go Robb, I am staying here. I won't leave the walls of this castle or even this room in necessary" she said softly

"No, you are coming with me. I am not leaving you to him. I don't trust you, he will let you leave" he said and took her but Jon pushed him back

"Back off, Robb. You can't take her" he said and Robb frowned

"Why not?" He asked and raised an eyebrow

"Because she is my fiancée, you can't take her from me. My future wife stays here" he said and Robb laughed

Robb felt the world spinning around him while he laughed and nodded, it couldn't be true. They couldnt be getting married. He sighed heavily and frowned

"No....it can't be true...Marie, please tell me he is lying to protect you" he said and looked into her eyes while she looked away

"It's true Robb, me and Jon are together and in the future we will prob-...get married" she said and looked at him with sad eyes. "Go back to your queen" she whispered and looked down while Robb shook his head

"No....no you can't just take her from me"

"She is not yours to take, not mine either. She is no property. She is a queen and it's an honor I will be able to call her my wife in the future" she whispered and smiled at her

Maegal listened to the two men talking but she didn't want it, she didn't want to be their toy or so. She stood up and pulled away from Jon standing in the middle of them and looking at both of them.

"I am a queen! And Jon is right, I am no property for none of you. You tend to forget that I have three dragons and a whole army on my back!" She said and flames of the fire started to dim

Both Robb and Jon were stunned with her sudden outburst, they looked at the fire and then at her. The two brothers looked at each other and nodded. She was ready to put out the fire or set the room on it.

"You don't have an army...you were defeated" Robb said calmly and softly but her hands started shaking

"I do!" She shouted and the fire was out, she was breathing heavily and was looking at Robb with anger

"And I will take it back....my dragons are coming and gods may help anyone who stand in their way....and in my way" she said and looked at both of them "I will take my throne, I am from the dynasty that build it. Fire and blood are my words, not winter is coming. Don't forget that, fire built it and fire shall sit on it" she said proudly

"You are mad" Robb said and chuckled

"No, Robb. What happens now is madness, false kings and queens claim it with no birthright" she said calmly

"And what if I don't want to back you, what if the North says no?" He asked and raised an eyebrow

"The Who will help me, may have power the others may be burnt by it" she whispered something one of her ancestors had once said and looked at Robb "don't do this Robb..." she started

"Mare....Robb is right, the Northerns might not want to back the fire queen. They are proud and you know them, don't act like you haven't lived here. We are all children of the North, even you" he said seriously

"Then persuade them, you need an ally in this war anyway" she said and stood up "and set me free to find my dragons" she said and looked at Robb

"On one condition" he said and she raised an eyebrow

"What is it?" She asked and frowned

"I want you to cancel your engagement with Jon" he said looking into her eyes, she gulped and glanced at Jon. She took a deep breath and nodded

"Alright, I will" she said and walked over to Robb giving him her hand "do we have a deal?" She asked

He nodded and tried his hardest not to smirk, she was his and she would always be his. As he was hers deep down. He shook her hand and nodded smiling and looking into her eyes

"We have a deal" he said and smirked a little which made her smirk too

Oh how naive of his...he thought he had won this game but dear they had only just began playing. The real deal was about to come soon, very soon she thought.
