Hi Wattpad user! This is Melody. You guys know my little sister, Molly, as the owner of this Wattpad profile and fantastic books. I want to tell you guys the full story behind why she's been so infrequent with updates and hasn't been on a ton.

The whole thing that started this happened about a year ago. Our parents were fighting a ton, more than you'd believe. I could hear my dad's yelling and my mom screaming from my bedroom on the top floor of our house. Our dad started drinking and would go out to the bar almost every night. Once, he even took Molly and our little brother Connor with him to one of the nastiest pubs in our city. Molly and Connor came home at 1 in the morning, alone, covered in bruises, and crying their eyes out. Connor was only 8 and Molly was 12.

Things only got worse. Soon enough, he started cheating on our mom with a lady he met at the bar. When we all met her, she was the biggest butthole you'd ever meet. She got drunk almost as much as my dad and would treat Molly and me as her maids and Connor as her butler. The fact that Molly and Connor were too young to come with me was the only thing that kept me from running away at 16.

Our parents have finally divorced but things have gotten worse. Our mom's gotten a new boyfriend and he's almost as bad as our dad's girlfriend. And, on top of everything, our mom's started vaping. Molly came to me with the e-cig that she had found in her bedside drawer.

 The only good thing is, my 18th birthday's in a couple of weeks so soon, I'll be moving out into a new apartment with my best friend. Best of all, she's agreed to let Molly and Connor stay with us in the apartment! I just want to say, if you're gonna be hard on my little sis for not updating her stories all the time, just know that she's got a hard life outside of this site.
